Obama Yet Again Compares Occupy Wall Street To The Tea Party…
The Oakland riot police beg to differ.
(Politico) — In his chat with Jay Leno on Tuesday, President Obama was asked (not for the first time) about the “Occupy Wall Street” protests. While he said again that the movement is based in “frustration,” he told Leno that it’s similar to the tea party.
“Look, people are frustrated, and that frustration expresses itself in a lot of different ways. It expressed itself in the tea party. It’s expressing itself in Occupy Wall Street,” Obama said. “Everybody needs to understand that the American people feel that no one is looking out for them right now.”
It’s not monumental that Obama made the comparison with the tea party, but it reflects a small progression since he was asked about the protests at the beginning of the month. At an Oct. 6 press conference, he was asked specifically if Occupy Wall Street could be like the tea party; Obama didn’t answer. In an interview on Oct. 18, though, Obama said that the demonstrations are “not that different from some of the protests that we saw coming from the tea party.”

Everything is a lie from the Obama administration. They hope to win by constantly lying and tricking everyone. They know their policies are a disaster but that is ultimately what they want because they hate America. Sadly for them, when most people see their finances in big trouble next November, they will think about Obama in a negative way when they head to the polls.

Obama is not trying to elevate the OWLers, he knows that’s a loser. But he can degrade the Tea Party by trying to create a connection.
I believe the Tea Party is not frustrated, it is not looking for more help from government, instead it is appalled with the excessive govenment snd wasteful spending, as well as the direction the country has been led in.

Obama spoke in Quincy, Ill., at the Oakley Lindsay Civic Center. The event was open to the public, and about 2,000 tickets were distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
About 200 protesters peacefully rallied outside the civic center, carrying signs that read “Give Us Liberty Not Debt” and yellow “Don’t Tread On Me” flags, the Quincy Herald-Whig reported. Protesters waved U.S. flags and shouted “Remember in November” and “You work for us.”

After Obama’s motorcade arrived, a Secret Service agent instructed protesters to move across the street. The crowd began singing “God Bless, America” and the National Anthem. Quincy Deputy Police Chief Ron Dreyer ordered police in full riot gear to march up the street and stand between the tea partiers and the civic center.
Snipers were also spotted on the rooftop of the building.’
