Democrats Hot New Talking Point: It’s The “Republican Congress”…

In related news, Dems don’t think highly of the American public’s intelligence.

(The Hill) — President Obama and Democrats on Capitol Hill are increasingly referring to the Congress as “Republican” even though their party controls one-half of the unpopular institution.

Obama and his allies have started to deploy the phrase “Republican Congress” in what some experts see as a clear attempt to gain a political advantage.

“I’m the first one to acknowledge that the relations between myself and the Republican Congress have not been good over the last several months, but it’s not for lack of effort,” Obama told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos earlier this month.

“It has to do with the fact that, you know, they’ve made a decision to follow what is a pretty extreme approach to governance,” he said.

And other Democrats have used the term.

Nice Try Barry, no doubt your comrades in the media will cover for you.

The internet will not, independents will not forget your deceit and the LSM’s complicity in that deceit.

Two can play at that game. I will be sure to use the phrase “Democrat Senate” whenever possible.

Sadly most voters will believe this. They’re the same ones who think Palin really did say “I can see Russia from my house.”

Nice try libshits. The real problem is you. You got that pschological displacement thing down pat. I’ll give you that much. Oh and when are you going to pass the many Republican jobs bills that have yet to be brought to the floor in the Senate? In 2012 when we take over the Senate you say? You’re right.

    next set of lefty arguments:

    – extremist repubs, you think they’re bad now, wait until if they get even more numbers

–they’re evill, don’t care about you, heck they don’t even look like you, why would they care about you?

–if all else fails, call them racists, and racists, and even more racists.

It’s like when you say something in a normal tone of voice to a liberal or just somebody who disagrees with you and is an asshole, they will say you were yelling.

Sad thing is that most Democrats don’t even realize they controlled congress from 2006-2010 and had filibuster proof majorities for years.

Of course they are saying this now that the approval rating for congress is 9%.

  14. ThomNJ says:

Actually, most people really are that stupid and will certainly believe it. Ever ask someone who is the majority party in either the House or Senate – half the people think the Senate and House are the same.

  15. Trialdog says:

Dems stick with centrally planned attack messages. Now of course they have to, because most of their members are blithering idiots, but republicans could learn something about focussing a central theme from those dems.
Just make it a uniform positive message, not the standard hateful message dems produce.

@USA Patriot: makes me think of the bit George Carlin used to have about “think how dumb the average person is and realize that half the population is dumber than that.”
