Report: Fights Erupt Among Wall Street Occupiers, Protesters Avoiding Parts of Zuccotti Park For Fear of Their Safety…

(USA Today) — Fights are erupting among Occupy Wall Street protesters, so much so that one corner of Zuccotti Park has emerged where protesters say they won’t go for fear of their safety, the New York Daily News is reporting.
Police officers also have been warned of “dangerous instruments” being concealed in cardboard tubing, the News says it has been told by unidentified police sources.
“There is a lot of infighting in the park,” a police source told the news organization. “There is one part of the park where they won’t even go at night.”
Meantime, Ed Mullins, president of the Sergeants Benevolent Association, is warning protesters at Zuccotti Park in Manhattan that he will pursue civil suits against anyone who assaults a union member.

NYC is setting themselves up for a bloody catastrophe. Bloomberg’s liberal stain of a cretin self should be held 100% accountable. Saw this one coming. I was at Occupy St Louis the other day and it took about 5 minutes to figure out these people are dangerous.

Bloomberg and the NYPD have handled this thing extremely well nothing in NYC has resembled the violence in Oakland.
There hasn’t been any great damage and the area all around the park is filled with people selling unauthorized OWS t-shirts to the gawkers.
Bllomberg is such a nebbish. Its too bad Guliani isn’t in charge. The occupation would long since be over and done. But I like the NYPD, they do a great job. They got the manpower to take out the dregs if they want to. Its only a matter of time…
