Obama’s Labor Secretary Uses Sexually Explicit Slur “Teabaggers” To Describe Conservatives…

(SSN) — With the team behind President Barack Obama targeting the Sunshine State in their bid for a second term in 2012, the White House sent U.S. Labor Secretary Hilda Solis to speak to the Florida Democratic Convention on Saturday.
A day after Vice President Joe Biden told the convention at Walt Disney World that Obama needed to carry Florida to win in 2012, Solis attempted to rally Democrats for the elections and urged them to push for the Obama jobs plan which, with Republicans controlling the U.S. House, has no chance of passing Congress.
Speaking at a luncheon event on Saturday, Solis carried water for Obama, bashing Republicans and praising the administration’s economic policies.
Solis offered harsh words about conservatives. Looking at 2012, Solis slammed the tea party movement, calling them “teabaggers” and promising the Obama administration will take them on.

They’re all doing outstanding work. Raul Yzaguirre, my ambassador to the Dominican Republic — Latinos serving at every level of my administration. We’ve got young people right out of college in the White House. We’ve got the first Latina Cabinet Secretary in history, Hilda Solis… So we couldn’t be prouder of the work that so many folks who’ve been engaged with La Raza before, the handiwork that they’re doing with our administration. And as Janet mentioned, obviously we’re extraordinarily proud of someone who is doing outstanding work on the Supreme Court, Sonia Sotomayor.
“A Judicial Watch investigation reveals that federal funding for a Mexican La Raza group that for years has raked in millions of taxpayer dollars has skyrocketed since one of its top officials got a job in the Obama White House.
The influential and politically-connected National Council of La Raza (NCLR) has long benefitted from Uncle Sam’s largess but the group has made a killing since Obama hired its senior vice president (Cecilia Muñoz) in 2009 to be his director of intergovernmental affairs.
Ignored by the mainstream media, Judicial Watch covered the appointment because the president issued a special “ethics waiver” to bring Muñoz aboard since it violated his own lobbyist ban. At the pro illegal immigration NCLR, Muñoz supervised all legislative and advocacy activities on the state and local levels and she was heavily involved in the congressional immigration battles that took place in the George W. This week a JW probe has uncovered details of the alarming increase in federal funding that these NCLR groups have received since Muñoz joined the Obama Administration. In fact, the government cash more than doubled the year Muñoz joined the White House, from $4.1 million to $11 million.
Not surprisingly, a big chunk of the money (60%) came from the Department of Labor, which is headed by a former California congresswoman (Hilda Solis) with close ties to the La Raza movement. Since Obama named her Labor Secretary, Solis has launched a nationwide campaign to protect illegal immigrant workers in the U.S. Just this week Solis penned declarations with Guatemala and Nicaragua to preserve the rights of their migrants.
The NCLR also received additional taxpayer dollars from other federal agencies in 2010, the JW probe found. The Department of Housing and Urban Development doled out $2.5 million for housing counseling, the Department of Education contributed nearly $800,000 and the Centers for Disease Control a quarter of a million.
Additionally, NCLR affiliates nationwide raked in tens of millions of government grant and recovery dollars last year thanks to the Muñoz factor. An offshoot called Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC) saw its federal funding nearly double to $18.3 million following Muñoz’ appointment….”

In fact, as Secretary of Labor, Hilda is in many ways the administration’s chief salad tosser. I’ll bet she tosses a salad better than anyone else in Obama’s administration. Dear Madam Secretary:
I was disappointed to read the following in an article appearing online at sunshinestatenews.com: “Solis offered harsh words about conservatives. Looking at 2012, Solis slammed the tea party movement, calling them “teabaggers” and promising the Obama administration will take them on.”
For some strange reason, I always thought that your salary, like most other members of the President’s Cabinet, was paid out from taxes received from ALL Americans, not just Democrats, liberals, or progressives. Shockingly, I think even members of the ad hoc TEA (Taxed Enough Already) groups pay federal income taxes. In some weird metaphysical sense, I guess that makes us your EMPLOYERS, not your subjects. Your choice of such offensive language to describe your fellow citizens was wildly inappropriate, particularly since the President himself made a case for more controlled and civil discourse after the tragic attack on Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
I am forwarding this note to the senators who represent the great State of Illinois. I sincerely doubt that you have the courtesy to publicly apologize to the citizens you so casually ridiculed, but perhaps you will consider the wisdom of a show of respect to an elected senator.
