Report: Rahm Emanuel Involved In Leaking Cain Harassment Claims To Politico…

Wait, Rahm Emanuel?
Comments & pings are closed.(Washington Times) — Herman Cain’s campaign is revealing suspicions about who is behind the story regarding the former unidentified employees who accused Mr. Cain of sexual harassment in the late 1990′s.
According to a source who is friends with the Cain campaign, not only is the Rick Perry campaign involved but also the Mayor of Chicago and former Obama White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel is likely involved with the sexual harassment accuser attacks. A friend of the Cain campaign believes a National Restaurant Association (NRA) employee out of the Chicago office leaked the story to the Perry campaign via information and influence from Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s office.

Rahm, also a member of Man’s Country Gay Club like Obama was for over 10 years, is a corrupt Chi-town Faggisimo. There’s a crust of powerful sodomites and buggerers that hail from the Chicago fudgepacker boys, including Wright with his Down Low Club (DLC). The Nazis also had a gay-pact in the higher ups.
Trying to get them to fight among each other… so now Cain owes Perry the apology. He needs different handlers!!!!! Stay away from reporters and lefties!
omg cedarbark! lol That’s a power-packed post if ever.
Forgot to ask how you came to know this info. Any sites you recommend? Wright too?
If it can be proven that Perry is collusion with Rahm, I won’t even hold my nose to vote for him (Perry) if he’s the nominee.
I don’t believe Perry’s campaign leaked the story. This is the second time Cain has jumped the gun regarding Perry without a smidgen of fact behind it.
Divide and conquer. Can’t these idiot candidates see they’re being played?
“….not only is the Rick Perry campaign involved but also the Mayor of Chicago and former Obama White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel is likely involved…”
———-
Why would Rahm Emanuel need to detour through the Perry Campaign? Why couldn’t Emanuel have leaked the story to Politico?
.
Seems to me that if the employee leaked it to Perry at Rahm’s orders , that does NOT prove the Perry person leaked it to Politico.
Perry people would more likely leak something to the Washington Examiner.
Seems to me Emanuel could have leaked it to the Perry guy AND leaked it to Politico, then let it be known that Perry had the information, sort of killing two birds with one stone.
Cain needs to not listen to the leftist press and needs some good advice. I would suggest he have a private meeting with Perry.
Cain all over the map again. How can anyone honestly say this man is not an imbecile. Do you really want this guy carrying the football?
Teacake…
try Hillbuzz… they were pro Hillary… and felt shut out by Obama…
they used to be Democrats… but have since given it up…
yes they are gay… from Chicago… and know alot about Obama and his crew
especially Obama’s activities in Boystown… a gay section of Chicago
Rahm got around to being Mayor of Chicago by less than honest methods, so I am not surprised there may be this connection. About Perry? I’ve been standing back from that whole Perry Campaign Thing. Something just isn’t quite all it should be. Why I say that I am not entirely sure, though.
I am continually amazed how the left will go on these ‘shark attacks’ after their opponents, but if it were one of them in their camp it would be all hush.
At this point, we now seem to know more about Cain than we still have yet to know about our sitting President.
@gastorgrab
Two birds with one stone?
So… while Cain is pointing fingers at everyone… my money is on Romney’s camp as the leak… lol.

I dunno. Cain said if he had to drop out of the race, he would support Romney. Sayun.
Considering the alternative candidates, Cain would have to be caught on video porkin goats, and humpin camels to not get my vote.
@USA Patriot “I dunno. Cain said if he had to drop out of the race, he would support Romney. Sayun.”
What better way to pull in Cain’s voters than to eliminate Cain?

Romney wouldn’t be that much of a low life would he? Oh, nevermind. LOL
obama etal closet gay, no big deal. Usurping the constitution, no biggy.
Old school southern gentleman gives compliments to women who find it offensive and uncomfortable… the world is going to end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Didn’t Rahm do the same in O’Blamey’s senate race when he got his opponents divorce records open to the public?
This only helps Barry Soetero, all this bickering.
If Cain did something wrong, then so be it, it will be exposed. What Politico did was beyond disgusting, no real evidence, no copy of the settlement, no names, nothing concrete.
In this country, you are innocent until proven guilty, was there a settlement? looks like it, but lots of companies settle rather than go to court as its more expensive to do so, that doesn’t mean the victims were telling the truth, or the accused did somethign wrong.
What I don’t like about Cain is his unpreparedness, if he had the week to prepare, he should have gotten his response ready, people to defend him ready. And instead, he was flat footed, what’s he going to do when Barry’s media army really goes after him next year?? And now these people in his camp are blaming everyone and everything, yet not figuring out exactly how to resolve this?
I’ve read the lady now does not even have a copy of the settlement and no longer what to talk. So then there is nothing to pin on Cain, he’s admitted he was accused on sexual harrasment, which can mean anything, he’s also admitted he’s never sexually forced himself on anyone, and I believe him, if that was true, the case would have settled for a hell of a lot more and most likely there would have been criminal charges.
Enough of the blame game and more defending his character. If only the blame game is played, not good, both have to be done.
All this is doing is taking attention away from Barry.

Where do you come up with this nonsense?
Denial is not a river.
@ USAPatriot and Teacake –
I dont get why you guys are attacking Cain.
Oh thats right. Youre pushing for someone else.
Cain isnt “all over the place.”
Someone – “A friend of the Cain campaign” to be precise, thinks Rahm leaked it to Perry.
I think YOU are the idiots, youre being played by the Washington Times. Its another piece of “leaked information” with noone to back it up.
Yeah, I can still picture Cain as Commander in Chief, ALOT more than i can any of the other idiots in / or running for office. An intelligent person isnt going to be swayed by a leftist smear strategy. Theyre going to pull out the stops in this, obviously.
Even if it is true, why would it be so hard to picture politicians working together to bring down the front runner Republican presidential candidate??
You think this would be the first time repubs and dems have worked together for nefarious ends? lol
and this Block character, is this the best campaign manager?? He sounded like an idiot on Special reports. Dump him and get someone competent.
USA Patriot – Youre saying explaining this is denial?
OMG! He complimented a woman, and she sued to get money! The horror! How could we possibly let someone that horrific be President???
LOL Piss off.

You see, Cain is a successful CEO and businessman. He picks the best of the best to support him in his positions. Now go away.

womanwomen…Four women AND, we really don’t know what he said or did do we?
I like some of the things Cain said early on but he has proven to me in past few days that he just isn’t ready to become president regardless of sexual harassment bs,
He is really clueless on foreign policy. 999 won’t work ever be made law even if he would be elected and he really can’t explain it when questioned on it. He reminds me of Trump when early on everyone was on the Trump band wagon because he was outspoken.
I like Herman Cain but I won’t be casting a vote his way. He seems like a good guy but he’s all over the place and not ready to be president.
Just my opinion. I’m not really all that smart.
The reek of Cainiac panic on this thread is getting to me. Out for a breath of fresh air.
Cain isn’t establishment and he isn’t a politician… he’s very smart, an amazing business man and that’s what will make him a very decent president.
@USA Patriot?
That fresh air isn’t going to help you… It’s that bullh*t breath of yours that is stinking up the place…
“The Cain campaign suggests the source for that story was longtime GOP consultant Curt Anderson, who worked for Cain’s failed 2004 U.S. Senate bid and had been debriefed on the harassment allegations by Cain himself. Anderson now works for Perry.
And Chris Wilson, a former pollster for the restaurant association, said Wednesday he witnessed Cain’s alleged inappropriate behavior. He’s now involved with a pro-Perry super political action committee.
But both men deny leaking the story.
“I’ve known Herman Cain for about seven years. I was one of several consultants on his Senate race in 2004 and was proud to help him,” Anderson said. “I’d never heard any of these allegations until I read them in Politico, nor does anything I read in the press change my opinion that Herman is an upstanding man and a gentleman.”
“I have great respect for Herman and his character and I would never speak ill of him, on the record or off the record,” he added. “That’s true today and it’s not going to change.”
The Perry campaign also disavowed any connection to the story.”

“Cainiac panic on this thread is getting to me.”
I don’t see it as panic, he is being tested, and that is a good thing, better for it to happen now than the general.
I’m in the ABO camp, not sure if I’ll vote for Cain or not, he’s being tested, Romney will be tested as well. Those who can handle it will rise if not, they will fall, and I’d rather have all this exposed now, not in the general election.
Society does not benefit from stories like this. Stories like this serve as a distraction from other issues. Is this to say America is moral somehow? I know differently.
Rob, the picture of all the boys on the bathhouse bench is hilarious!

I wouldn’t put it passed any of them. I don’t care for Perry. I said early on he looks like an drunk. I didn’t like the way he jumped on issuing excutive orders. I think he’s as crooked as the day is long! I’m not impressed with any of them!!!
Thanks for that info, Katherine. Hmmm, more to think about then.

Pardon my ignorance but, didn’t Cain say initially that he didn’t remember any allegations or settlements?
@BT-
IS this going in the same directions of bodies showing up similar to the Clinton Era?
Creepy info!
thanks BT will go there now
This came from the lama camp straight up. Perry is capable of it, don’t you doubt it for a minute, but this has got Chicago Machine sleaze written all over it.
That being said, doesn’t matter. Cain is actually brilliant in dealing with this. He’s turned it into a ‘who done it’.
BT comment from that url – interesting indeed

Has anyone found it funny that JUST BEFORE Obama was sworn into office, that his White Grandmother(who could have cleared up the BC issue) misteriosly falls, gets Very Ill and dies just days before his “Coronation??? I’ve thought the same thing for a couple of years… Also… Remember the low fly-by of Air Force One over NYC in April of 2009…. 5th plane???
One HF so much goes on its difficult to keep any one thing in mind these days. Now that you mention that, WTF was that all about? HATE this asshole!!!!!!

Apparently they were going to start it in early November and may have decided to bump it up a bit due to the attention he’s getting. You can watch the thermometer at the site.
I don’t know anything about the Cain thing(s) but I admit tI am sick of all these old stuff.
Teacake – that has to be the most convenient death outside of a conspiracy theory.
Cain really hates Perry for some reason . I do not recall Perry attacking him prior. I guess they won’t be singing Ebony & Ivoryyyyyy

I wouldn’t send him one penny.
@Zip
Tell us who you favor.. And why..
Cain has zero political experience, the only thing we know about the way he would govern is what he tells us. And it’s oh so easy to get the rhetoric down pat, but how do we know that he actually believes what he says?
Haven’t we learned yet, to look for the proof in the pudding?
It’s easy to say you will do this or that, it’s much more difficult (particularly in politics) to actually do them. Without experience in the political world, Cain will be like a virgin in a whorehouse. Unable to be really useful and unable to remain chaste.
Additionally, experience in politics helps you develop those instincts that all the advisors in the world cannot replace.
Cain’s (so far) lack of interest in many areas for which the President alone is responsible is more than just a small detail which can be easily remedied. Considering the events going on in the world today (for which Obama was not prepared), foreign policy will be a monumental part of the next president’s job.
I’m sorry guys, but Cain is woefully lacking the one thing which would make him a successful president—political know how and support. The fact that he is unsullied by previous political experience does not mean he is without guile. Nor is it beneficial to the position. In fact it’s quite the opposite. Politics is a world unto itself, requiring knowledge of bureaucratic quagmires, cabinet infighting, party standoffs and endless maneuvering.
Cain has already demonstrated that he is not light on his feet, nor does he have the support system, the favors owed and given, that a politically experienced man would have.
And because it’s very important I’ll say it again, the fact that Cain is unsullied by previous political experience does not mean he is without guile. Politicians don’t hold the patent on lying or pretending to be someone they are not. We normally judge the veracity of a candidate’s words by prior record, only in Cain’s case we don’t have a record.
it’s called vetting a candidate.……..the more thoroughly vetted the better…where was all this investigative “”Journalism”" on Barry Obummer..?
Herman Cain has been a barrel of laughs and I’ll miss him…
Cain is just another OJ Simpson drooling over white women.
If Rahm was involved, how far away is the connection to the Whote House?
**White House
USA Patriot your a troll and the opposite of a US Patriot
I’m thinking OWS patriot
Cain is by far more qualified than obama. I’m more than willing to see what a business man can do rather than yet another typical politician. There is too much to loose this time around, basically liberty and freedom.
People who have lifetime memebership in the glass house called Man’s Country Chicago might want to avoid throwing stones.
KM – the left doesn’t care what their people do, they just want to keep all the power to themselves. They don’t care that obama has all his personal files sealed, they don’t care if he is American or not, they don’t care if he’s a commie or not, obama could kill a kitten and the left would find a way to blame Bush for that. If it came out of the closet about the men’s club, the left would love it actually.
What a crock…The Cain Campaign is cracking up.
So whenever campaign creates problems for itself it is Perry’s fault.
Palinista’s blamed Perry for Palin not entering the race even though by Iowa Palin wasn’t moving up in the polls because Bachmann stole that thunder.
Bachmann blamed Perry when that Tea Party group asked her to drop out because she embarrasses herself on the stump & Bachmann blames Perry.
Cain who has been gaffetastic gets 10 days notice to deal with an old story…flubs it live on TeeVee so that the story is now into day 5 and blames Perry for the leak because Perry hired a former Cain 04′ aid who also worked fr Mitt in 08′ even though Perry hired the aid 5 days after not before Politico contacted Cain…Pathetic.
Now more people are crawling out of the woodwork to talk up “a pattern of behavior “while Cain trots out the wife.
The way that Team Cain has handled it is pathetic.
@reality
“Cain really hates Perry for some reason . I do not recall Perry attacking him prior. ”
Correct. Although every candidate except for Gingrich has relentlessly attacked Gov.Perry since he entered he race 10 weeks ago the only opponent Perry has gone after is Romney/Obama.
The only opponent Romney has gone after (set up an attack website & doing ads) is Perry.
Perry is the only real contender to Romney’s crowning and the only polls that matter are the voting polls.
bullshit artist – no one expects a lefty as yourself to not have a bitter outlook on all things Conservative
“Anderson added that Cain’s campaign is “grasping at straws” by trying to accuse him. “[Cain is] in a tough spot…candidates, when they get in a firestorm like this, they sometimes come unraveled,” he said.
“You have a situation here where Mr. Cain is saying people are falsely accusing him, so the last thing he ought to do is falsely accuse somebody else,” Anderson said.
Anderson also insisted that he thinks Cain is a “great candidate” and a “gentleman,” and he doubts the truth of the allegations against him.
“I’m disappointed that he tried to use me as a pawn to try to get him out of this mess that he’s in,” Anderson said. “I was upset for a little bit but then I thought, this is pathetic, I don’t have anything to hide.”
Anderson said he is not interested in taking fighting back with legal action or in contributing “any more name-calling to what’s already out there.”
The only reason I’m here, he said, is to preserve his reputation. “If someone tells you something in confidence and ten you go out and blab it to other peple, that’s highly unethical and that’s not the way I live my life,” he said. However, he said, it was a moot point because he never had a conversation with Cain about the past accusations.
Anderson also said he thinks it’s “silly” for Mark Block, Cain’s chief of staff, to demand an apology from Perry’s campaign.
‘I think [Cain's campaign] probably figured it’s a good diversionary strategy to take him out of the limelight,” he said. “I think it’s kind of a weak strategy.”
Perry also denied that his campaign pushed the story in an interview with conservative blog Red State on Wednesday night. “I’m disappointed that there’s finger pointing going on, and the sooner that we back to talking about the issues that are important to the people of the country, the better,” Perry said.

@teacake
Lets recap
First Cain didn’t know about the accusations…then he kinda did..then he didn’t know about any settlements…then he kinda did….then he remembers some details about one encounter (Day one)…then he’s being attacked because he’s a black conservative (Day two)…then there are dark forces out to get him and he’s being attacked because he’s a black conservative…then there will be a new report that will clear him of all charges…then Team Cain says the story was leaked by the Perry campaign because even though Cain couldn’t remember the charges on Monday he suddenly remembers briefing an aid who worked for him in 04′ and Mitt in 08′ and this aid was hired by the Perry campaign 5 days ago even though Politico said the story was leaked by a former NRA Board member…To which Perry campaign aid denies to Politico and newsources & Perry spox Sullivan states there are other stories tied to Romney campaign…Then Gov. Perry issues a formal denial late last night (Day four)
The only thing that is consistent is that once again Herman Cain can’t seem to keep his stories straight…About the issues or about this.
Meanwhile Cain’s campaign finance irregularities gets ignored.
I think you mean obama’s finance irregularities gets ignored.
We still don’t know who these women are, what really happened, whether there were witnesses, what was documented at the time, and what the internal investigations at NRA concluded. It may all boil down to he-said-she-said.
Until facts come out, this whole media thing is a game of gotcha to bring Cain down. Admittedly he has made missteps as has his staff. It is a fast-paced lynching with liberal media breathlessly repeating and speculating on what it all might be. If Cain can get it together and survive this, he will be a stronger candidate. He needs some serious crisis management consultants now.
Personally, I don’t care who leaked the information. If it is true the American public needs to know it. There must have been some truth in it if they decided to pay hush money to keep it quiet at the time. Just how serious the events were is what I’m waiting to hear and at this time I still don’t know. Men will be men and most of this age never were taught about feminist views and were very free with crude jokes and inuendoes. We are the bridge generation between it being just office talk and being criminal. So many men of this age have made complete fools of themselves during their mid-life crisis and yes, men have a crisis. They have led exemplary lives until the hormones go nutzo and then have to live down bad behaviour for the rest of their lives. Just look at the many religious leaders for proof. I’ve witnessed stunning examples in my own extended family. Some get through it with a red sports car and others go to jail. What I can’t figure out is why it was ok for Bill Clinton but not for Clarence Thomas. Are we still wanting to tar and feather a black man who speaks rudely to a white woman? Are WE playing the race card? I’m almost afraid of what the answer might be but I hate to think we might throw away the only man who can take out Obama. Are we only looking at a Republican black man to prove that race is not the reason we don’t like Obama? Don’t look at me for answers. I’m the one with all the questions.
I’m impressed by your writing. Are you a preosfsioanl or just very knowledgeable?
