Obama Admin Opposes Adding D-Day Prayer To World War II Memorial…

(Fox News) — Republican lawmakers and conservative activists are expressing outrage after the Obama administration announced its objection to adding President Franklin Roosevelt’s D-Day prayer to the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.
The objection was noted during a congressional hearing on Rep. Bill Johnson’s (R-OH) bill — the “World War II Memorial Prayer Act of 2011.”
“It is unconscionable that the Obama administration would stand in the way of honoring our nation’s distinguished World War II veterans,” Johnson said. “President Roosevelt’s prayer gave solace, comfort and strength to our nation and our brave warriors as we fought against tyranny and oppression.”
Roosevelt asked the nation to join him in prayer as U.S. and allied troops launched the invasion that led to the defeat of Nazi Germany. He asked God to give the allied troops courage and faith, saying, “With thy blessing we shall prevail over the unholy forces of our enemy.”
But Robert Abbey, the director of the Bureau of Land Management, said any plaque or inscription of the prayer would “dilute” the memorial’s central message and therefore “should not be altered.”
“It is not a judgment as to the merit of this new commemoration, simply that altering the Memorial in this way, as proposed in HR 2070, will necessarily dilute this elegant memorial’s central message and its ability to clearly convey that message to move, educate, and inspire its many visitors,” Abbey said in written testimony.

November 10th is the astronomical Full Moon for this month. We have a Muslim in the highest office in the land, true? Is it not a boast of Muslim videos, to show actual murdering of people who are labeled as ‘sorcerors’, is it not? It is not a crime in the USA, and is protected, by The Bill of Rights, although some would rather it was not, correct?
Therefore, I submit to you, dear reader, a simple little observance for this Full Moon, that includes nothing more than one sheet of paper, a pair of scissors, a marker – of any kind – sharpie, fountain pen, pencil, and either a lighter, or a match to strike. Oh, and if you have the “cookie cutter” for a gingerbread man, all the better.
On the paper, either draw, or outline with the cookie cutter, a simple gingerbread man form on the paper, with your marker. With the scissors, cut out the drawn figure from the sheet of paper. With your marker, write on the form, the President’s name, as you see fit. Write on the form, your intentions for ‘our beloved leader’. Hint: be precise in your intentions. (i know what mine are, but you need to be clear, in your’s.)
When you are finished, take marked form, lighter/match to safe area in house ( I do NOT want to read that you had a house fire!), think your intentions with all that they are, light the light, and put form to flame. Watch it burn completely. (Safety, adults, and completion of intent). Discard the burnt-out ashes to the wind, or “flush it down the tubes”. (Do NOT put them in “tomorrow’s trash, it has to be NOW, Full Moon, remember!)
What have we done? We have exercised our right to free speech, our right to practice beliefs that are peculiar to oneself – not toeing the government line and thumbing our nose at Sharia Law, our right to acts of individualism – without having to explain why, and basically, blessed or cursed ‘our beloved leader’ in a manner that is NOT recorded electronically, as you, dear reader saw fit!

In a way I`m glad he`s not adding a prayer to the memorial. With omuzzy at the dedication, he would cheapen the brave men who died for freedom in WW2 – including my Grandfather.
So let us hope and pray the next President we get, one of his first acts as President is to add the D-Day prayer to the WW2 Memorial.

I lived though WWII from Pearl Harbor to the signing on the Missouri.
It was faith and trust in God that gave us the chemistry to come back after disastrous defeats on Bataan, Wake island, Kasserine Passe and Corregidor and turn the tide. We were able to endure the tremendous sacrifice through faith in our leader and trust in the Almighty
This ties it all together for the current administration.

Robert Abbey, the director of the Bureau of Land Management took the time to explain the objection because the new bill violates an existing law by layering a new comemoration over an existing comemoration. This was a setup to sandbag & whine about destroying American values. It’s all GOP dirty tricks and lies. They could care less about family values unless it lines pockets with cash.
