KAPOLEI, Hawaii (AP) — President Barack Obama says the interrogation technique known as waterboarding constitutes torturing, disputing Republican presidential candidates who say they would reinstate the practice.
Obama called waterboarding “torture” and said it was “contrary to America’s traditions” during a news conference at the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit.
Republicans Herman Cain and Michele Bachmann said during a Republican debate on Saturday that they would reinstate the technique that former President George W. Bush authorized and Obama banned.

Since you seem to have a problem understanding what words mean, I thought I’d offer some clarification on the world “torture”.
Listening to you call use “lazy”, “soft”, and “cowards” – that’s torture.
Watching you bow to the leaders of the world, including terrorists and dictators – that’s torture.
Watching you dismantle a great nation – that’s torture.
Having you regulate and control every aspect of our lives – that’s torture.
Listening to your fat assed wife lecture us on our eating habits – that’s torture.
Making scaring 2 or 3 terrorist masterminds and making them physically uncomfortable – that’s NOT torture.

Amazing, capturing someone alive and water boarding them is contrary to American traditions, but blowing someone into a thousand pieces is not.
In one of those scenarios, you survive without any physical or psychological impairments, whereas the other leaves you with no physical or psychological parts to impair.

Ethical Lapses at PSU, Ethical Void in D.C.
A course in ethics was a requisite for a B.A. at Fordham University in the 1960′s and I have to confess I probably semi-slept through it.
It’s apparent that Ethics 101 either wasn’t required at Penn State University or that Nittany Lions coaches also slept through it. Meanwhile, in Washington, President Barack Hussein Obama has made such a farce of ethics in the federal government it’s hard to believe he understands the meaning of the word.
Ethics was a tough subject although its essence can be reduced to the study of moral principles and their applicability to rules of conduct.
Dictionary.com provides a more detailed definition: “That branch of philosophy dealing with values relating to human conduct, with respect to the rightness and wrongness of certain actions and to the goodness and badness of the motives and ends of such actions.”
In turn, that definition can be summarized to doing the right thing just because it is the right thing to do.
Many wrongs are associated with recently-publicized events at PSU. Some may be termed ethical lapses of omission. They include Coach Joe Paterno’s failure to notify law enforcement authorities, university administrators covering up perfidious behavior, and Coach Mike McQueary’s grossly negligence in not interceding on behalf of a 10 year old boy being raped in a school shower room.
The most profound ethical failures committed have been attributed to Coach Jerry Sandusky, illegalities and moral tupitude which allegedly continued for some 15 years, from his initial molestations of young boys to McQueary’s witnessing Sandusky violating the ten year old.
Both Sandusky and McQueary are Penn State graduates but so too are the other 557,000 alumni of that immense and still great school. A few rotten apples can spoil a barrelful but a handful can’t spoil an outstanding university. Now that they have been exposed, they will be prosecuted and victims will be compensated even if that compensation can never wipe clear the memories of what they suffered.
Similarly, an unethical American president can stink up the White House but he can’t spoil a nation.
Obama and the administration he leads have been caught in numerous ethical breaches but, thanks to his mainstream media and stonewalling lackeys, so far they have gotten away with such breaches and only time will tell whether they ultimately ”come home to roost,” to quote his pastor or 20 years. . .

Ron Paul is damn dangerous and a frickin’ menace when it comes to protecting our nation. Paul is NOT a conservative and there is a plethora of reasons as to why his Libertarian friends never wanted him as their standard-bearer. Larry Sinclair was TORTURED from abuses by Axelrod and Obama while he exposed Obama as a coke using fag…and BIDEN’s son was Delaware Attorney General and had him arrested across state lines, FOR NO CHARGES after Sinclair testified at the National Press Club. After that, Biden was given the VP slot! Sinclair testified that he had received a call from Donald Young prior to HIS murder (execution style) along with Larry Bland and another young man, all members of the Trinity Church choir and known “Down Low Club” (Wright’s club) and intimate partners of Obama. All three were murdered by a BULLET IN THE HEAD within 70 days of eachother starting in November 2007. Wright disclosed Young’s murder in a service before the coroner had even reported him dead.
Sinclair knew he was high risk for assassination by the Obama regime, he said that he had not been killed in 2007 because he had made a youtube video and because he had given testimony at the National Press Club. They got him anyway!
I wish one of them (including the female candidate) had the GONADS to stand up and blow Obama out of the water by saying “OF COURSE it’s torture– that’s why it WORKS.” The enemy wouldn’t hesitate to use “enhanced interrogation” against our guys– we shouldn’t be tying our own hands against using ANY “technique” against them, to SAVE our guys’ (and a LOT of noncombatant’s) LIVES.
