CNN’s Bias Takes a Turn For The Worse, Reporter Asks Obama: Are GOP Candidates Views On Waterboarding “Uninformed, Out Of Touch, Or Irresponsible?”…

As always, I’m obliged to inform you liberal media bias is just a myth.

Comments & pings are closed.“Last night at the Republican debate, some of the hopefuls, they hope to get your job, they defended the practice of waterboarding which is a practice you banned in 2009. Herman Cain said, quote, ‘I don’ see that as torture.’ Michele Bachmann said that it’s, quote, ‘very effective.’ So I’m wondering if you think that they’re uninformed, out of touch, or irresponsible?” CNN’s White House correspondent Dan Lothian asked President Obama in Hawaii.

Objection. Leading the witness. It’s the only way to get the answer you want.
Wow, are those my only three choices?
Saw that last night…caught the very end of the pathetic presser…as always, CNN does the same old thing. Heard Rush report on this a bit ago too.
Same old, same old.
Water boarding is wrong, but it is OK to call a hit or drone bomb a village to get a terrorist? OK to destroy the Libyan military to let another group of Muslim radicals take over a country? This administration is full of hypocrisy, and the liberal media keeps supporting it.
Did the reporter at least wear the knee pads under the slacks?
Its so tacky when they wear them on the outside.
Intelligent Republicans seems to be another myth.
It’s the economy you twit’s America is sick and tired of wars and torture. Ron Paul and Huntsman are the only two that weren’t bamboozled by the media.
But according to comments made during the debate, perhaps the most dangerous and willfully naive foreign policy view I have ever heard expressed by Republicans. Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum.
Two candidates for President of the United States say that because Pakistan has nuclear weapons, we must treat them as our friend whether they are or they are not.
Taking their statements together — and they were in agreement disagreeing with Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry — we have two candidates telling the world that if you betray us, if you harbor Osama Bin Laden, if you cooperate with the Taliban and terrorist groups, if you work with China to undermine our national security, we will treat you as our friend if you have nuclear weapons.
According to these two I suppose we should be allies with N. Korea and Iran too.
Thank God these 2 ASSclowns don’t stand a snowballs chance in hell of being elected.
And hat tip to Gingrich and Perry for copying Ron Paul’s position on Foreign Aid.
Why support a copy cat when you can have the original.
Ron Paul 2012
That’s the kind of loaded, biased question you’d expect from Mediaite’s Tommy Christopher.
You left out the fact that the media say he’s black, too. But don’t worry about that because the ones who drank the Kool-Aid back in 2008 are showing who they really are now with their woe is me pity party they’re staging in the streets. It’s all capitalism’s fault, whereas beforehand it was all Bush’s fault, and then before that it was all their mommies’ fault and their daddies’ fault.
Obummer reflects precisely the kind of pablum that the masses ingest on a daily basis in entertainment, television, advertising, etc. He has be anointed the first black president by the media, which no one has ever taken them to task for. Basically, anything anyone does at this point is just beating a dead horse.
Take a look at any of the SoF schools in the Military. Ranger, PJ, Recon, SEAL, SERE.
Candidates are treated far, far worse than anything done to detainees.
Barry called it “the war on terrorism”!
Somebody shoved stick up Gadaffi’s ass before they shot him in the head. I bet he wishes he was waterboarded.
“So Mister President, are you still taking it up the butt from Reggie Love or Larry Sinclair? If not, is there a name for your new male plunger?”
Oh lookey, someome is dying their hair again!
Lady-boy’s so hopeless they have to feed him his own propaganda!!
Didn’t we hear this same stuff about Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc., back in 2008?
Ironic -considering how uniformed, out of touch, and irresponsible CNN is.
(And irrelevant.)
I read shit like this and can’t believe I still go round and round with my liberal friends trying to convince them that the MSM is ridiculously biased.
Last week Obama went to for his required annual physical. His proctologist found three benign polyps and the mainstream media.
The polyps were easily removed.
big round of layoffs/firings at cnn………………….boy the news coverage there is only going to get better…..not
Was he afraid Obama might agree with the GOP candidates? Relax Dan, this President cares more for the rights of terrorists than for the lives of Americans. You can be sure that on this topic he’ll give you the answer you’re seeking.
When we catch him alone he will learn first hand what waterboarding is and feels like.
The man is mentally ill………and so are his followers………
@MNJim
I was also wondering about the waterboarding (evil) vs. vaporizing with a Predator missile (evidently, morally good) contrast. It does remove the “what do we do with captives” dilemna.
Also, never a word from the “media” about the possibility of collateral damage from the drone strikes. Imagine if the WH occupant was from the other party….
Waterboarding is NOT torture. The U.S. Military waterboards hundreds of troops each week as part of the SARS training for the Seals, EOD, and Special Forces all other Military Branches. I know lots of people that have been waterboarded for training. Every single one of them agree that waterboarding IS NOT torture. They tell me that it is an uncomfortable experience that they would not want to repeat, but it is not torture.
