Occupy Wall Street Protesters Terrorize Small Children On Their Way To School, Chant “Follow Those Kids!”…
Number of school kids stalked and terrorized by Tea Partiers: Zero.
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — They were caught in the middle of madness.
Some grade school students were forced to walk a gauntlet of screaming “Occupy Wall Street” protesters just to get to school on Thursday.
In the middle of thousands of protestors yelling and chanting — some kicking and screaming — CBS 2’s Emily Smith found little school kids trying to get to class. Nervous parents led them through the barriers on Wall Street. The NYPD helped funnel the children, anything to ease their fears while some protestors chanted “follow those kids!”
“These guys are terrorists, yelling at little kids,” one father said.
“For them it’s horrible. They’re afraid of all the crowds. We’re not even able to get through. They’re just, he’s . . . very afraid now,” a mother added.
One protester followed a father and his little daughter all the way down the block. As the school day ended just after 3 p.m. children trickled out of Leman Manhattan Prep on Broad Street. Smith heard a 4-year-old boy telling his mom he was scared. He told Smith it looked like a parade.

If Republicans immediately took over the country, then these people would be immediately stopped, and the ‘movement’ would be flushed, there would be jobs in order to pursue the American Dream, and the people who did not want to work or pay for their way would be deported to Hawaii.
Deported to Hawaii or some other place that BHO is from. Indonesia, or maybe Kenya, or else to Cuba.
When is New York City going to arrest these people? How can they justify this behavior under the First Amendment?

Why people think these individuals are doing something positive is beyond me. They’re less than the hippies of the 60s. At least they were peaceful. Non-productive, but peaceful, by and large. They wouldn’t come to my neighborhood, a good old fashioned town where neighbors help each other. They wouldn’t survive long. Why NYC, LA, SF, and the rest put up with them is beyond me. This is politics in action, nothing more, nothing less. They know where to hit and where not to hit.

This is ridiculous. First: This report was clearly defined to avoid the actual news and pursue an agenda of vilifying OWS. This is downtown NYC… anyone here venture to know where the nearest elementary school is near Liberty Plaza? There are a couple of Private schools near Battery Park, but the rest of downtown is basically business.
I avoided the area around Liberty Plaza yesterday when meeting friends for drinks – easy. These parents should have avoided the area too. It’s a three block area to avoid…. easier than trying to get to Brooklyn by subway on the weekends right now with all the schedule and route changes.
Because, for Pete’s sake, everyone knows that everyone in OWS is an angel, who never does anything wrong!
It’s all the parents fault. They should just stay home. Or choose another route. Or just not have kids. Kids are counter-revolutionary, anyway. Or maybe they should move to Brooklyn.

The protesting IS the status quo. Mayor Bloomberg, and the authorties, have supported, and even encouraged it. Trust me—if this taking over of public spaces were being done by the Tea Party, a Renaissance Faire, a crafts festival, The Ladies Tea and Crumpet Society, the cops would have rousted them out, long ago, and the media would have ignored it. If it were an ongoing Christian revival meeting, they’d be screaming their religious rights were being violated. If it were a Jewish camp, they’d be screaming about “Zionists”, and demanding the police do something.
But it’s being done by acceptably leftist OWS, so they let them camp out as long as they like, making only timid attempts to restrain them. People like Muffler admire them, and the media bloviates on about how they’re raising “questions” and instituting “dialogue”. (What questions are they actually raising? What sort of dialogue do they want to have? And why have they taken over a city park, just because they supposedly want to talk to us? I’m beginning to think “dialogue” is a euphemism for BS.)
If you happen to live nearby, or if your kid’s school is nearby—oh, well, too bad for you! It’s all your fault, if your get gets terrorized, or if some OWS goon follows you on your way to school. Why’d you have kids, anyway?

It’s interesting how a lot of these stories are being covered on major network’s online entities (this one is on CBS), yet the major networks continue to refuse to run these stories as part of their evening news programs.
I can speculate that the major networks know that online traffic directed to them by someone like Drudge generates massive hits, thereby putting more advertising dollars in their pockets. On the flip side, the TV viewership is stagnant at best and in most cases declining… and that viewership consists of a large percentage of people who watch “the news” out of habit rather than being actively involved in pursuing the truths of things.
The major networks, on some level, have to know that their existence is fleeting unless they start reporting the news properly again.
