The View’s Joy Behar Likens UC Davis Pepper Spraying Incident To Kent State Shootings…

The controversial pepper spraying incident at UC Davis was a hot topic Monday on The View with Joy Behar comparing the police action to the Kent State shootings.
“A lot of people watching are too young to remember Kent State in this country, where the police shot a couple of students,” observed Behar. “It’s outrageous, this type of behavior cannot be tolerated by the police!”
“I’m sorry, there is no — there is nothing they could have been doing, short of physically scaring those police, to have that man go down and — they’re sitting there!”

You know, that’s not the way most people react when pepper-sprayed. It’s obvious they were prepared and it only proves they are further resisting authorities’ orders to disperse. No Harm – No Foul.
Should have crouched down and sprayed them at the horizontal, at least, – perhaps even a slight upward angle to fully catch their faces………..just a suggestion……
I liken Joy Behar to a crude, crass, loud mouthed, scrunty asshole.
When her head is continually in the dark, correct information is very hard to acquire.

The restraint exhibited by officials everywhere in tolerating these occupiers is troubling. Officials would be justified in training the firehouses on these scum and driving them out by whatever force necessary. These turds are a nuisance and public health hazard.

This pepper spraying is well with in national standards on police use of force.
Pepper spray is authorized for failure to comply with LE commands, especially in crowd control situations.
The officer was completely within standard guidelines.

Over the years much has been bandied about with the Kent State U. occurence. From what can be read in various sources, the Guard genuinely believed their lives were in danger when they shot. This above article adds another dimension.
What troubles me with Behar using this pepper spray analogy is that it adds fuel to an already contentious fire that is growing each day.
Police forces are highly trained in riot control. As with anything on the planet training includes further insight, changes, etc.
