MSNBC Knuckle Dragger Ed Schultz Says UC Davis Pepper-Spraying Reason Cops Are Called “Pigs”…

Classy as ever.

Via Newsbusters:

“It is amazing to me that there is a law enforcement official who felt it compelled — and I’m going to say something now that is really distasteful but I feel like I have to say it because I am a product of the sixties — this is how law enforcement got the term “pig.” This is how they got labeled “pigs.” And that term just turns my stomach. I equate this to the Rodney King beating. I really do. The action’s no different than taking a nightstick out on a guy or to go right up and pepper spray people right in the face when they’re absolutely harmless. What’s the difference?”

That should be the official Tea Party poster for the 2012 elections.

    That cop did nothing wrong.

Those libtards refused to move their asses so the cop did what he had the justification to do.

    Hope it stung big time!

Junius: Ewww. Who’s going to insert the hose?

I hope lard ass Ed Schultz’ home gets invaded by the Occupy thugs and the police respond by sending in a couple of farmer John’s fattest hogs.

The person that would call a police officer a pig, is the same type of person that would spit on a soldier, or sailor coming home from war.

And if Ed Schultz were in trouble, those “pigs” would come to his rescue regardless of what names they have been called.

    Knuckle Dragger indeed.

When dealing with trust fund/college kid OWS protestors linking arms that don’t want to move, forget about nightsticks and pepper spray.

    Psy Ops.

First you throw a thin, loose fitting opaque cover over each of them – like a parakeet in their self-imposed cage so they can’t see what happens next.

Then you rev up a chainsaw and dip the bar into a low-grade side of beef intended for dog food.

And while some officers pretend-scream bloody murder like their arms are getting cut off, others dip ladles into a can of fake hollywood horror movie blood and begin splattering the covered OWS protestors.

No Ed. People call the cops pigs when you see over a hundred of them (NYPD’s finest) protesting their fellow officers being arrested on felony charges for fixing tickets. All chanting about “professional courtesy”. Or when Miami cops toss feces on a Florida state trooper’s car. All because a trooper arrested a Miami cop going 120mph down the highway because he was “late for my 2nd job”. They call the cops pigs when they bust into the wrong house on a drug warrant, shoot some dogs/terrorize innocents and then refuse to apologize for screwing up.

So much for equality eh Ed?

The only reason the vermin were pepper sprayed was because THEY WANTED TO BE PEPPER SPRAYED. They were given ample warning to move, were told repeatedly that they were going to get sprayed, and were gleeful when being interviewed afterwards. It was a publicity stunt, a clip to be viewed out of context on the internet afterwards trying to gain sympathy. And it worked! The pepper spraying cop is now an internet meme denigrating law enforcement.

These vermin want to be portrayed as victims and are willing to take the relatively mild abuse the cops dish out (compared to what the cops did to protesters in the 60′s). If those kids chose to stand up to the cops back then, they wouldn’t be smiling out about it afterwards.

Rodney King was harmless? In November 1989, King robbed a store in Monterey Park, California using an iron bar to threaten and hit the store owner. He was convicted and sentenced to 2 years imprisonment. On the night of March 2, 1991, King and two passengers, were driving west on Foothill Freeway. The three men had spent the night watching a basketball game and drinking at a friend’s house in Los Angeles. King’s blood alcohol level can be estimated at approximately 0.19—nearly two and a half times the legal limit in California—when he was driving. At 12:30 am, Officers Tim and Melanie Singer of the California Highway Patrol, spotted King’s car speeding. The Singers pursued King, and the subsequent freeway chase reached a speed of at least 117 miles per hour. King exited the freeway, and the chase continued through residential streets at speeds allegedly ranging from 55 to 80 mph. No matter what happened after that this man can hardly be described as harmless.

You really want to go with the Rodney King rehash Ed ? What’s the difference between King and pepper spraying punks ?

March 2, 1991, Rodney King ,a convicted felon, and two passengers, Bryant Allen and Freddie Helms, were driving on Foothill Freeway in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. At 12:30 am the California Highway Patrol, spotted King’s car speeding. They pursued King, and the subsequent freeway chase reached speeds of 117 miles per hour. According to King’s own statements, he refused to pull the car over because a DUI would violate his parole for a previous robbery conviction.King exited the freeway, and the chase continued through residential streets at speeds of 80 mph. By this point, several police cars and a helicopter had joined in the pursuit. After eight miles, officers cornered King’s car.
King and his two passengers were ordered to exit the vehicle and lie face down on the ground. The two passengers complied and were taken into custody without incident.
King remained in the car. When he finally did emerge, he acted bizarrely: giggling; patting the ground; and waving to the police helicopter overhead.King then grabbed his buttocks. As the officers attempted to handcuff him, King physically resisted. King rose up, tossing Officers off his back. King then struck an Officer in the chest.
King was standing and was not responding to any commands. A Taser was fired a into King’s back. King fell to his knees; then stood back up and turned towards the officers. They fired the Taser again, knocking King to the ground. The video starts here.

The officers later testified that they believed King was under the influence of PCP.
King’s blood-alcohol level was nearly two and a half times the legal limit .

In May 1991, he was arrested on suspicion of trying to run over a vice officer who found him with a transvestite prostitute in Hollywood, but no charges were filed.

In 1992, King was arrested for DUI, again no charges were filed.

1993, King entered an alcohol rehabilitation program and was placed on probation after crashing his vehicle into a block wall in downtown Los Angeles with a blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit.

He was arrested for DUI again in May 1995 in Pennsylvania.

July 1995, he was arrested by Alhambra police, when he hit his wife with his car, knocking her to the ground and drove away.
He was sentenced to 90 days in jail after being convicted of hit and run.

September 2001 King was arrested in Claremont and charged with being under the influence of the psychedelic drug PCP.

He was arrested in 2005 after he threatened his daughter and ex-girlfriend with physical harm.

2007, King told authorities he was sprayed with pellets from a shotgun while riding his bicycle near the border of Rialto.
Rialto police said King was intoxicated when they arrived and that it was difficult to decipher what had happened. No suspects were ever found.

September 9, 2010, it was confirmed that King is to marry Cynthia Kelley, who was a juror in the civil suit he brought against the City of Los Angeles.

March 3, 2011, King was stopped by Los Angeles police for driving erratically. He was issued a citation for driving with an expired license.

July 12, 2011, King was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

    November 8, 2011
MORENO VALLEY, Calif. — Rodney King pleaded not guilty Monday to drunken driving charges.
According to prosecutors, King was driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana and had a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit when he was pulled over near the Moreno Valley town center.
The 46-year-old was reportedly driving a 1994 Mitsubishi when officers observed him committing “multiple infractions.” He was charged with misdemeanor counts of DUI and driving with a blood alcohol level above the legal limit of .08 percent.

King was awarded $3.8 million in a civil case and used the proceeds to start a hip hop music label, Straight Alta-Pazz Recording Company.

THAT is a pig. King is a career criminal, drunk and drug user.OWS are children playing at being Rodney Kings. With your support ED,they just might make it.

There is NO comparison between the two, you dipshit! There is no risk of physical damage, only temporary discomfort from pepper spray. This incident is NOT like the Rodney King beating. And to compare these idiots to the people in Tianiman Square is the grossest of gross exaggerations. Ed Schultz is a fukin brain damaged clown.

  25. Casey says:
    November 24, 2011 at 8:50 pm

Wow. I had no idea King had such a career after the famous arrest.

Makes sense he’d start a music company, what with his extensive rap sheet. Get it? “Rap” sheet?

Ok, more seriously; we should conduct a scientific experiment, with Mr. Schultz participating. First we hit him with pepper spray. Then we hit him with a nightstick. Then we’ll ask him which hurt worse.

…After he wakes up, that is. ;)

Just an innocent bystander here. Only video I saw was protesters sitting on a street and a police person walking across the front of them spraying pepper spray. The protesters shielded their faces, didn’t seemed to be affected, the LEO went back across the front of them and did it again.

Disagree with police action in light of peaceful protesters. Even the LEOs were non-stressed, just walked back and forth in a straight peaceful line, spraying the “protesters.”

Lots of protesters around in cities today, but I disagree with blatant hurting police action.
