Having Solved America’s Deficit Nightmare, Obama Says U.S. “Stands Ready To Do Our Part” For Eurozone Debt Crisis…
Translation: Obama will help prop up the Euro until the 2o12 elections.
(ABC News) — As the European debt crisis continues to escalate, President Obama urged European Union leaders today to act quickly to resolve the eurozone crisis, saying that “the United States stands ready to do our part to help them resolve this issue.
“This is of huge importance to our own economy. If Europe is contracting or if Europe is having difficulties, then it’s much more difficult for us to create good jobs here at home because we send so many of our products and services to Europe; it is such an important trading partner for us,” the president said following an annual meeting between U.S. and EU officials. “We’ve got a stake in their success, and we will continue to work in a constructive way to try to resolve this issue in the near future.”
While Obama did not say what kind of assistance the U.S. would be willing to provide, earlier today the White House ruled out any financial contributions from U.S. taxpayers. “We do not in any way believe that additional resources are required from the United States or from American taxpayers,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters.

I happen to think that Europe could only afford to be socialist because enough free markets existed in the world to counter balance them. Many of them have cut back the size of their military because there were enough American bases nearby to discourage any attack. They could only afford to have ‘National Healthcare’ because some other nation would bankroll that expensive research and development of new drugs and techniques. The existence of a free market can keep prices relatively low even for people who do not practice capitalism.
Turning such a large chunk of the world market as the United States into a socialist utopia has had a detrimental effect on the world economy.
Corruption is an unfair manipulation of the market for individual gain. Socialism is a manipulation of the market for political gain. Both of these work to destabilize the balance between price and demand. Having too much of either can cause the system to collapse.

We may honestly have to impeach the man before the election at this rate.
And let’s be honest here: The European Union was *never* our ally, considering the entire goal of the euro currency was to replace the US dollar as the world reserve currency and leave the US at the mercy of the EU’s socialist economic system and multi-culty legal system with all its “protected minorities”.
