Breaking: Cain Tells Staff He’s “Reassessing” Candidacy — Update: On Latest Allegations, “We Have To Do An Assessment To See If This Is Going To Create Too Much Of a Cloud”…

Via NRO:
In a conference call this morning, Herman Cain told his senior staff that he is “reassessing” whether to remain in the race. He told them he will make his final decision “over the next several days.”
Update: National Review has the text of what was said. Here’s a partial transcript, NRO has the rest.
Comments & pings are closed.. . .“Obviously, you’re all aware of this recent firestorm that hit the news yesterday,” Cain began, his voice somber. “First thing I want to do is say to you what I have said publicly: I deny those charges, unequivocally. Secondly, I have known this lady for a number of years. And thirdly, I have been attempting to help her financially because she was out of work and destitute, desperate. So, thinking that she was a friend — and I have helped many friends — I now know that she wasn’t the friend that I thought she was. But it was a just a friendship relationship.”
“That being said, obviously, this is cause for reassessment,” he continued. “As you know, during the summer we had to make some reassessments based upon our financial situation. We were able to hang in there; we reassessed the situation and kept on going. We also did a reassessment after the Iowa straw poll and we made another reassessment after the Florida straw poll. When the previous two accusations, false accusations, came about, we made another assessment. The way we handled those was, we continued on with our schedule. We made an assessment about what was going to happen to our support. But our supporters, and even some folks that we didn’t have as supporters, they stood with us, and they showed it not only in terms of their verbal support, they showed it in terms of their dollars.”
“Now, with this latest one, we have to do an assessment as to whether or not this is going to create too much of a cloud, in some people’s minds, as to whether or not they would be able to support us going forth,” Cain said.

Here we go, the begining of the end.
Endorse Gingrich! Hopefully we can get all the pro-adultery conservatives to concentrate behind their mascot and then defeat them AND the RINOs behind Romneycare.
What’s the over-under?
@Moe
The high likelihood of his implosion is why I became a Perry donor in October – even though I had an absolute thrill up my leg for Cain.
What’s the over and under on Mrs. Cain staying around at this point?
What a shame. This man is actually unluckier than OJ Simpson. He just happens to be surrounded by women all over the country who claim they had special access to his privates.
the guy must have been delusional if he thought all that baggage he had wasn’t going to come back and bite him in his ass, i cringed when he gave nonsensical replies to simple foreign policy questions, but…. carrying on an affair right up until announcing you were running for president? what was he thinking
Cain’s fedora was his downfall. Unfortunately, clothes DO make the man – and the candidate.
The power of the pussy has brought down a lot of good men….
…..never underestimate it..
Sayonara Herman. I’m sure you’ll transfer some of your war chest to Mitt, like you planned to all along;.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
If he sucks cock he should run for my seat……wait a minute…..damn teleprompter
What’s to reassess? He didn’t do it!!

…what was he thinking
I’ll tell you what he was thinking, he was thinking running for POTUS would help him sell more of his new book. When he realized there were nitwits out there that actually bought into his shtick, he drove the train until it went off the tracks.
How isn’t Perry capitalizing on all of this?
and most of those nitwits post right here.
Just as I predicted, a long-time, consensual mistress has come forth to save us from her former lover. This guy probably has a couple of more lady friends who will be checking in for their payday within a few more weeks. We have not heard the last of the Hermanator, because he has a future selling sexual products on late night T.V. and over the Internet. Something like Mandingo monkey gland pills for the randy male animal with a expense account.
The End.
Now it’s the Republican Establishment… Romney… against
the Republican Establishment… Gingrich.
Personally, I hope his poor wife wipes him out after the divorce. The man was, and always will be scum.
Squirmin’ Herman.
What did Cain ever do to these haters?
@Rufus
Gingrich is next to implode. Perry’s hair, Christianity, and conservative record will get him most of the female primary vote, Romney will take the RINO vote, so the battleground is Perry versus Gingrich fighting over male conservatives.
Bumr50 says:

What did Cain ever do to these haters?
He attacked Perry on moral grounds while he was standing on mud. Did he ever attack Romney? Once?
@Bumr50
Besides keep Romney in the race by dividing the conservative bloc, helping to guarantee that a liberal will be elected president in 2012, leading to the final collapse of the Union?
Besides that, I guess Cain hasn’t done anything to us.
Well, the rules are our side has to be perfect.
The criminal prog scum get away with murder: teddy ” the cape cod orca” kennedy.
Rape, molestation, chronic predation of women: bill clinton.
Cain committed no crimes.

Sad day for you, I bet. Who you gonna troll now?

Some people with limited intelligence can't handle the truth right away. Give it a few months and it'll finally sink in that you were played like a broken banjo there Jethro.
@chickadee
Adultery probably should be a crime. It isn’t fair that people who break up families and weaken the basic structure of human civilization get to cause all the lifelong suffering they wish with impunity while their victims pay the price of their mistakes.
Bumr50 asks: “What did Cain ever do to these haters?”
He porked their brains out.
Any more questions?
You have to question his judgement, assuming these rumors are true.
Did he really think this wouldn’t come out?
When you have the “reassessing” conversation, that means it’s already over. His campaign is now fielding propositions from the other candidates looking for the endorsement, which will end up being Romney or Newt.
USAP-
I just think that your statements are irrational.
Do you hold Cain personally responsible for Perry’s lame candidacy?
He’s my second choice, but quite frankly has a questionable record involving much crony-capitalism, questionable immigration positions, and abuse of executive privilege.
And how the heck isn’t he taking advantage of the power gaps that have appeared before him since the lying whores came out against Cain?
I don’t trust him, but I trust him more than Gingrich who I believe is a duplicitous bastard with progressive ideas swirling around in his big brain. See Donald Berwick.
Oh well. ABOOR. My order is Cain, Perry, Gingrich. I’m not emotionally attached to anyone except for my hatred of Obama and Romney.
It just saddens me to see any conservative brought down by simply being accused of things that when Dems are proven to have actually done, they wear it like a badge of honor.
BREAKING: Herman Cain said he will decide if he plans to stay in the race as soon as he learns the location of Libya.
Stay tuned.
hoodaticus-
Besides keep Romney in the race by dividing the conservative bloc, helping to guarantee that a liberal will be elected president in 2012, leading to the final collapse of the Union?
—————-
WHAT?!
You seriously think that was his plan?
Cain was never ready to be on this stage.
this was inevitable. the MSM has thousands of little minions working to uncover any dirt on Republicans and to hide any dirt on democRATS. this is why we get stuck with sh*tty candidates and the democRATS can nominate just about anyone without any vetting.
Pro tip: If you’re going to ignore key issues during your run for President, such as foreign policy, at least make sure your advisers feed you standard talking points. winging it doesn’t work.
Tip #2: The first time your chief of staff makes an a-hole out of himself, fire him.
The Cain Train was derailed from the inside and the RNC was behind it all.
@ hoodaticus…
Do you really think that adultery should be a crime?
As far as I know, the only countries / cultures that believe that little bit of insanity is ISLAM!
Please review what you said there, buddy.
@USAP
Some people with limited intelligence can’t handle the truth right away. Give it a few months and it’ll finally sink in that you were played like a broken banjo there Jethro.
You must have one of two Jungian personality attributes to have seen this coming with Cain:
1. Extraverted Judgment – around 12% of the population – applies rules to external facts
2. Extraverted Intuition – around 4% of the population
So basically, only 16% of the population had the basic potential to predict Cain’s downfall based on the information we had two months ago. And half of them are below-average intelligence, so make that 8%.
Flavor of the Week: Chocolate-covered nuts with thighs on the side.

Sorry I wasn’t clearer: I meant, which candidate you gonna troll now?
I bet you’re still dwelling on Cain after the election. Kinda a homo-erotic interracial thing you got there, y’know?
UPDATE:
“UPDATE: National Review was on the call. It lasted five minutes.
“Obviously, you’re all aware of this recent firestorm that hit the news yesterday,” Cain began, his voice somber. “First thing I want to do is say to you what I have said publicly: I deny those charges, unequivocally. “Over the next several days, we are going to continue with the schedule as usual,” he said. “I’ve got a major speech tonight at Hillsdale College on national security and foreign policy, and I will deliver it with vim, vigor, and enthusiasm. And then tomorrow we’ve got some media appearances scheduled. So we’re going to continue until we complete our assessment over the next several days.”
“But if a decision is made, different than to plow ahead, you all will be the first to know,” he said. “So until that time, I want to continue to thank you all for your support, thank you for your prayers. It’s taken an emotional toll, but the people in the audience tonight will never know it.”
“It’s also taken a toll on my wife and family, as you would imagine,” he concluded. “Any time you put another cloud of doubt, unfortunately, in the court of public opinion, for some people, you’re guilty until proven innocent. And so, the public will have to decide whether they believe her or whether they believe me. That’s why we’re going to give it time, to see what type of response we get from our supporters.”http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/284321/breaking-cain-reassessing-candidacy-robert-costa
Turns out that 999 is the number of women who will come forward saying the same thing: Herman wants head.
@Bumr50
No, I don’t think it was his plan. Which is why I never said it was. It also wasn’t Ted Kennedy’s plan to drive off a bridge…
He can always find work at Dominoes.
@Rufus
You’re right – intentional conduct that harms others and society should never be criminalized. We should make murder legal immediately. That way we won’t be like the Muslims, who punish murder.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh, Libya. Let’s see. Do I support it? Ahhhhhhhhhhh…..
@Rufus
My bad – apparently, adultery already is a crime in many U.S. states.
I’ll forgive your calling the American people insane and comparing us to Muslims, though. For now.
http://www.usatoday.com/news/opinion/forum/2010-04-26-column26_ST_N.htm
With Cain, Perry, Romney and Gingrich issues, Sarah Palin is looking pretty good right now. Too bad she bowed out.
If obama had undergone the same scrutiny for public office, he would still be an ACORN lawyer now.
Whoa – it’s a crime in 24 states.
And the military.
Now the media can focus on finding O’Blameys former law students and college classmates at Accidental Collage.
@ hoodaticus…
You are changing the subject with a false analogy.
You said that adultery should be a crime.
I said that only in Islamic countries is adultery a crime.
You are attempting to criminalize moral behavior.
What punishment do you propose?
Stoning?
@hoodaticus
I’m not condoning adultery, in any way.
My point is, the prog scum can kill, rape, molest and assault women with impunity.
ie:
teddy kennedy was given the respectful title of “Lion of the Senate.” This, after he left a woman to drown in a canal.
bill clinton is considered an elder statesman of the dim party after multiple savage attacks on women.
Cain is a paragon of virtue compared to these violent criminal sobs on the left.
I am horribly confused. The lefties are using a person’s sexuality (whether the allegations are true or not is hard to say) as a means of attacking him. Aren’t these the same people who want to teach kindergarten kids about sex and sexuality, hand out condoms to kids in middle school, inundate them with sex on TV, tell them that gay sex is far better than heterosexual sex, sell sex in movies, magazines, TV shows, ads, billboards, malls, etc. Then, when these people who have grown up with all of this are caught having sex they use it against them?
They ought to be parading Cain as a tribute to their success!
Oh yeah, he’s a conservative. If he were a black liberal candidate they would.
I really like Cain.
The concern over his Libya slow answer has always been stupid. Would you EVER want a president to make an instant policy decision on something like a middle east issue? No never. How long does it take to go from zero knowledge to up-to-the-minute knowledge, about 30 minute briefing. It is just a stupid quiz show mentality.
@ hoodaticus..
Ok, I guess it is a crime, but when was the last time it was enforced?
Sodomy is also a crime in some states, or at least was for many years.
Homosexuality was a crime too.
Moral behavior should not be a crime…
I stand by my position.
Attacks from the same the media that ignored the Breck Girls pregnant mistress/campaign staffer. How much money from his campaign chest did he sepdn on her?
Now we know more about someone who has not really been in the public arena than we know about our President who has been a public figure for at least 15 years.
Bachman imploded on her own.
Cain was exploded by the Axelrod machine after he became a threat.
Gingrich has baggage on immigration and his previous political life.
Perry is toooooooo soft on immigration.
Huntsman is an idiot.
Paul is out of touch with reality and SCARES me on his foreign policy on Muslims.
Santorum is not a “prime time player”.
Romney is the MSM and liberals choice.
As for me and my family, it was Cain, now it is Gingrich, lastly it would be anyone but Obama.
All of you nay sayers are falling hook line and sinker for this crap! The obama campaign said it was going to spend a billion bucks on this race. I wonder how much money these whores got paid by them? And another thing, the more one tells a lie, the more it becomes the truth. This is a travesty. It’s not how good a president can be, it’s all about how much money they have to throw at a campaign and smear the opponents in any way possible.
It’s really pretty sad that the majority of the public are too stupid or ignorant to make a reasonable assessment of the situation, so they just go with the bullshit the media is paid by obama and the leftist commies to report. Way to go dumbass America!
@rufus
They are occasionally enforced today – see the article. Attempts to repeal the laws have only met with strong public calls to strengthen them.
@chickadee
I didn’t mean to imply you were pro-adultery; I just thought the fact that Cain committed no crimes was merely a technical point, since adultery in my mind is criminal behavior given the harm it causes to the victims.
Cain has received more coverage from the LSM than Solyndra, MF Global, Cheby Voltron batterie, Fast & Furious combined.
A good grifter realizes when the con is over and blows town in a hurry.
The Flavor of the Week has melted and he wants someone to lick it up.
“You want a job, right?”
You people who were Cainiacs – what on Earth were you thinking? He has zero qualifications to be president, is a total amateur, but because he can repeat “9 9 9″ over and over again like a Buddhist chant you all started swooning over him. He became a right wing version of Barack Obama – a totally unqualified fellow who’s sole appeal was his race and likeability. He has sucked too much oxygen out of the room since September. We really have lowered the bar for our candidates ever since Obama got elected haven’t we?
Vote for Cain — He Pays!
@rufus
Intentional conduct that harms society as a whole and has no redeeming value is almost always a crime. You can’t go around hurting people and stepping on their rights with impunity.
Adultery leads to divorce, which breaks up families. Broken families produce most of the criminals and welfare recipients that justify a massive, liberty-depriving nanny state.
Adultery is therefore aggression against freedom and family and is one of the most heinous of all non-violent offenses. It is a crime and should be treated as such.
If you don’t want to be criminally liable for adultery, your options are fidelity and bachelorhood, both of which are enviable positions to be in.
USAP 2 11:49 am
Sayonara Herman. I’m sure you’ll transfer some of your war chest to Mitt, like you planned to all along;.

Hmmm – I always felt that Herman Cain was playing Mike Huckabee to Mitt Romney’s John McCain. When Cain said the would not support Rick Perry if Perry were the nominee, I saw a big warning sign about Cain.
“Adultery is therefore aggression against freedom and family and is one of the most heinous of all non-violent offenses. It is a crime and should be treated as such.”
We are not living in Iran. Adultery is amongst you, your spouse and your conscience.
A lot of good that high-powered defamation attorney did him.
In the words of U2: “I stand accused of the things I done.”
@ hoodaticus…
What other moral infractions do you want to criminalize?
Do you also think that we should have a Morality Police Force?
Maybe we should make women wear burkas to prevent immoral men from being tempted by their eyes.
Ain’t no blog traffic like Herman Cain blog traffic.
Bumr50 said: “What did Cain ever do to these haters?”
Other than being Black, conservative, and a fast ticket to a book deal, interviews, and lots of $$$$$ for both……….. Nothing at all. I have been amused at the liberal poutrage over this allegation in light of how they fawn over Bill Clinton and every other liberal favorite accused of similar behavior. Surely Ginger has a blue dress, or a dozen stashed away to back up her claim, considering the amount of time she claims she was involved with him.
How many of the frivoulous lawsuits against Palin were succesfull?
@Rufus
If it were merely a moral issue, I would not be in favor of criminalization.
Adultery is a crime because it is intentional conduct that harms society by breaking up families which creates generational cycles of criminality and dependency.
Please stop being dishonest with your straw man about morality. My objection is not religious or moral, but based on the harm principle. Adultery is a crime for the same reason it is a crime to steal or contribute to the delinquency of a minor – it hurts people you have no right to hurt.
This isn’t masturbation or pornography – the harm to society caused by adultery is measurable and massive.
Can someone explain to me why so many of you pee yourselves at the sight of a black conservative, be it Cain or West?
If Cain was white and fumbled as many issues as Cain did, most of you wouldn’t have given the guy a second look.
I keep telling people that voted for Obama, to prove to themselves that they weren’t racist, please vote for someone else to prove they are not fucking stupid.
Same for Cain. This guy took a stroll instead of a run at the nomination and some of you still support this buffoon?
Obama would have torn him a new asshole and the country would suffer 4 more years of what we have now.
I will celebrate the moment this guy exits the race and breathe a big sigh of relief. This woman may have saved the country by getting this guy out early.
I still think that Rick Perry would make a better POTUS then all of them (and I really like his foreign policy answers, losing your train of thought is no crime) but I am starting to come to the conclusion that maybe we should have rolled the dice and gone for broke with Palin. I mean for the love of God – Newt Gingrich a has-been from 20 years ago is the front runner?
I’d say, if Cain is going to bail, he should come out swinging at the media in his last debate appearance. What does he have to lose?
He should ask them why they spent all that time digging dirt on him while ignoring Solyndra, Fast & Furious, Obama’s anti-semitic friends, and so on and so forth.
Man, that would be awesome!
@rufus
On the flip side, I am against the criminality of fornication, which does not cause sufficient, provable harm to justify regulating private sexual conduct.
Also, I’m not in favor of making adulterers register as sex offenders, even though, technically, they are.
@hoodaticus at 1:15 pm
Take your theological fascist way of thinking to Khartoum, Mogadishu, Tehran, Tahrir Square or Gaza. Kahanists (which is what you are as I see you on Schlussel’s blog all the time)) are not much different then al – Shaabab types.
@Jimmy Page
Yep, it’s John Bobby McDole all over again. But I still think Perry can pull through – I know I will be maxing out my federal contribution limit for him.
hoodaticus @ 1:21 pm Also, I’m not in favor of making adulterers register as sex offenders, even though, technically, they are.
“That’s mighty white of you”
Dirty Harry Callahan
If the media had spent one-tenth of the time, energy, and attention vetting Obama in 2008 that they’ve spent on Cain, we would not be in this mess.
@SaraSmile
You are the dumbest troll I have ever seen. Prove me wrong by showing me one fucking theological argument I have made.
Adultery has been a crime in this country for over four centuries. Why don’t you go back to godless Europe, since you obviously have an extremely condescending opinion of this great nation and its people.
Hoodaticus – I am not a troll and you are the very definition of a fascist.
Like I predicted watching ALL the media, Romney will get the nomination. Ask yourself this question, why does he have more campaign money then all the others combined and yet he has been in second or third in the polls? Who is backing this guy? Follow the money. Oh, that’s right, all you sheep have forgotten what it is like to use critical thinking. Don’t worry, soon we will have to choose between Hussein and Romney. God help us.
@ hoodaticus…
Just how do you define Criminal Adultery”?
Does there have to be sex?
Does the sex have to be copulation, or does oral sex qualify?
Is there a certain number of times it has to happen, or does a one time affair bring a jail sentence too?
Adultery is NOT a sex crime no matter how you look at it. The offended party would be the spurned spouse. There would be no sexual crime against her (him).
Also, Sara, who the fuck is Schlussel?
You know what – never mind. I have too little time to argue the wind with idiot skanks.
@SaraSmile —
Steve Schlussel the theonomist?
@Rufus
Obviously such details are up to the states to decide.
The Georgia adultery statute (which Cain probably violated) reads:
16-6-19. Adultery.
A married person commits the offense of adultery when he voluntarily has sexual intercourse with a person other than his spouse and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished as for a misdemeanor.
@WM
I think she means http://www.debbieschlussel.com/
@ hoodaticus…
Ok, we’ve covered the subject and its best just to disagree.
Maybe you can get Jay Carney to help you with your details.
I have a question for all the men here. When did you stop beating your wives?
Farook the smoke and mirrors from the LSM. Full steam ahead and let them prove the allegations. The arseholes are getting away with innuendos.
Xavier —
I just noticed the spelling and was gonna pull my comment.
The theonomy threw me off.
@hoodaticus,
Would your criminalized adultry have defenses? What if spouse #1 hasn’t put out in over a year, is spouse #2 allowed to cheat? Two years? Five?
The problem isn’t adultry and the desire to sleep with other people, the problem is marriage and the flawed idea of human monogamy.
@Xavier
Never been to that site before.
@Rufus
I wasn’t trying to convince anyone of anything. But I do get a little pissed when someone calls me a theocratic fascist. That is the exact same argument liberals use in favor of legal abortion on demand.
Which religion am I serving when I support drug legalization and civil unions for homosexual couples?
Zip: Why do you print this stuff? You know he didn’t do it. Stop lending credibility to these false accusations.
I can’t believe some of you people *still* defend and support this man. I know its hard of the ego and pride to realize you have been hoodwinked by yet another two bit huckster but there it is. I have said all along this guy was nothing but an arrogant ( oh lets call it ” super confident” shall we ) 30 second sound bite flash in the pan. He is a man who gained some power and money and he let it go to his head-thinking he had the right to lay up with any woman he could-because after all he is -Herman Cain. It takes a real special breed of creep to know this about yourself and know your past and yet still run for a high profile office like the Presidency ( which he was never qualified for to begin with)…he figured he’d just lie and deny his way through..because that’s what he’s been doing for years apparently. Mr. Christian, Mr Family Man, Mr Black Man Role Model….of course now he will say he is quitting the campaign because of the negative effect all ” this trouble” has had on his family. Oh yes martyr Herm will step down and say he is doing the “honorable” thing and thinking of his family first. Vomit worthy. And don’t forget your pimp hat on the way out Mr Cain..
@ hoodaticus…
Please note:
I didn’t call you any names.
Debating a subject is not arguing.
@Rupaula
I don’t see why marriage is so popular in an age that favors free-spirited pleasure over responsibility anyway.
If it were up to me, I’d only make adultery unlawful in cases where there are minor children or the woman is pregnant. That’s the only time adultery really hurts society. Outside of that circumstance, I would treat marriage as any other contract.
hoodaticus
The Georgia adultery statute (which Cain probably violated) reads:
————————–
Judge Hoodaticus’ ruling is final!
No evidence is needed of sexual impropriety!
Seismologist says:

You sound like the Libs trying to hide their dirt-I thought we were better then that ..are we afraid to print news..it is “news” the man may be steeping out of the campaign AND the accusations are news as well. I bet you think that stain on Clinton’s dress was spilled ice cream and Monica was a big liar too…
Cloud? You are standing where an F5 tornado just passed. You see nothing but rubble, and you are worried about a cloud?
@Rufus
Apologies – you never called me any names; I was venting about SaraSmile.
An argument is an assertion plus logical proof. I’m a Doctor of Law, so I don’t see the word “argument” as carrying any negative connotations at all.
@BelleStarr.
Well hell, if you are so sure this happened that means you were there right? You should have taken pictures to prove it. What’s that? You weren’t there? Well then how the hell are you so sure this is true? Psychic maybe??
There is no “there” there.
She gave up all of the evidence she had with phone records.
And she has a history of lying, to the point where it’s landed her in court.
Dem’s the facts.
@ hoodaticus…
No need to apoligize.
A Doctor of Law?… a lawyer? you 1%er…..
I’m a business owner, and a no good bastard according to my exwife.
@Bumr50 – we don’t have “no evidence” of infidelity. We have eye witness accounts. An eye witness is the exact opposite of “no evidence”.
And I said he “probably” violated it. That’s my opinion – you are free to disagree, and if this were a court of law rather than common sense, I would have to side with you and say we have no evidence, because we don’t have any details proving intercourse.
I don’t care about all these women he boinked. I really have only one concern about Herman Cain: Has answered the question about Libya yet?
White has had numerous financial issues, including a bankruptcy and numerous evictions in DeKalb County. She was also once successfully sued for libel by a former business partner. White says she was unaware of the lawsuit and did not defend herself. Her attorney said she has struggled to find work. Cain gave her money at least once, according to the station.
http://www.ajc.com/news/woman-claims-13-year-1243875.html
Mr. Cain,
The ability of the media to assassinate a persons character without any real prove is one of the primary reasons I will still back you. Please don’t let rumor attempt to destroy what you have worked so hard for. There are still many of us that can see through the venom of both the democratic machine and the rinos that view you as a threat and someone that must be removed from the process. You have your families feelings to take into consideration, but if they are willing to stand with you, go for it. You would be a terrific President………on a lighter note, we wouldn’t have to vet you at all……..most of the critics already claim to know what your waist size is. Do us proud and stay in the fight.
@hoodaticus:
“Adultery has been a crime in this country for over four centuries.” Really? That’s a neat trick, considering it’s only two centuries old.
So, you think adultery harms others, but fornication doesn’t. How many crackhead welfare moms do you think were married before they started cranking out their kids / meal tickets?
@Rufus
I’m actually a software engineer / IT manager for a big supply chain company. I only went to law school to appease the Jewish doctor who raised me (but is not my father).
And now you know why I am so hostile to divorce and the adultery that leads to it – because I am a victim and will be so until the day I die. The scars never heal.
It also explains my fanatical Zionism.
I am so jealous of business owners! In my biological family, only business owners are respected. My goal is to own my own business one day, if for no other reason than to finally earn the respect of the men in my family. So, congratulations, and good luck in this ass of an Obamaconomy!
Cain sure knows how to pick them — they all have similar histories. It’s as though he preyed upon a specific personality type when he went looking for snatch.
He has a speech tonight on foreign policy –HAHAHA now that is hilarious
Even though I was never a Cain supporter (I don’t like the 999 plan), I take no pleasure whatsoever in the seeming impending demise of his campaign.
For the record, if Cain had been the nominee, I would have supported him wholeheartedly.
Quite frankly, if this had come out a few days before the Iowa Caucus, I would be far more suspicious of these latest charges, but the timing of this latest revelation does not seem to be strategic in any way.
Even if ALL these charges are untrue, there is still a judgment issue here, and a pattern of a lack thereof by Mr. Cain.
isn’t 13 years the same amount of time obozo and reggie “body man” love have been having an affair? the time just goes so quickly!

I don’t care about all these women he boinked. I really have only one concern about Herman Cain: Has answered the question about Libya yet?
———————————————–
Cain on Libya-
“Told he was being asked if he agreed with how Mr. Obama handled the uprising in Libya, Cain said, “I would have done a better job of determining who the opposition is. And I’m sure that our intelligence people had some of that information. Based upon who made up that opposition, OK, based upon who made up that opposition, might have caused me to make some different decisions about how we participated.”
“Secondly, no I did not agree with Qaddafi killing his citizens. Absolutely not. So something would have had to been – I would have supported many of the things that they did in order to help stop that. It’s not a simple yes/no because there are different pieces and I would have gone about assessing the situation differently, which might have caused us to end up at the same place, but where I think more could have been done is what’s the nature of the opposition.”
A bit convoluted, but an answer nonetheless.
@Bumr50
That’s actually a great answer, exactly as convoluted as the issues themselves. I agree with Cain 100% on that.
Is that the answer he originally gave, or was it a follow up?

Also, Sara, who the fuck is Schlussel?
You know what – never mind. I have too little time to argue the wind with idiot skanks.

That is Debbie Schlussel another crypto-fascist like you. Nobody is conservative enough for her. And do not deny that you have posted there.
@hillybilly
Yes, playing up the Obama Chicago Gay Bathhouse rumor is probably a well deserved retort to similar charges his goons conspired to levy against Cain. Also, I heard another rumor that Obama has a mistress hidden away in the Caribbean.
One more time. Cain and his supporters are not the enemy.
BHO is.

BREAKING: Herman Cain said he will decide if he plans to stay in the race as soon as he learns the location of Libya.
Stay tuned.
He probably thought they said Labia.
@kansas “He probably thought they said Labia.”
Oh that was just too good. Nice!
The good news is Cain added to the dialog and added to ideas. Sad this had to come tumbling down and sadder they he didn’t see this coming if in fact its true he was doing this gal for 13 years.
The right will come together behind the nominee. Its time to stay focused on beating Obama, not each other.
It only becomes a problem if one lets it become a problem. Its really time to stop the media creating reality.
I, for lack of better words, do not think adultery is a criminal offense against society. It should be settled between a couple and their children if old enough to be aware of the situation. I don’t even think the person who had the affair with the adulterer should be brought into it either….they can’t be an innocent bystander whose words will lend anything to the conversation as it will always be biased. But, if a couple’s joint assets are given/used/gifted to the adulterer that takes it to a whole new rhelm too. Like abortion, it really comes down to free will and how you use it. Ultimately, it’s between you and God – whether the spouse ever learns of the affair or not. I’ve always told my husband, “tell me first if you ever even think about it or S&W is liable to be my choice for arbitration.”
I liked Cain, but his race was over when they blamed Perry with no proof. What happens if he got into office and one of his advisors blamed another country for something, without having any proof.
Finger pointing at that level can start a war and get people killed.
down goes cain (too bad) now can we zot bachmann, paul, and huntsman already? (santorum too probably)
It’s not that liking and nailing pussy is so wrong, I mean give Cain a cigar and we have the 3rd black president. The thing is this last bitch was so ugly.
Who killed the Cain candidacy? Herman was assassinated in broad daylight by both parties for daring to give We The People hope that a non-Ruling-Party person, a practical man of business without the imprimatur of the Establishment, could run on his merits and just maybe win the Oval Office.
Obama can hang with KNOWN Terrorist and that is fine. Personally, I think the left is so affraid of Cain they have decided to slander him to put him out of the Picture. They would prefer, Mitt Romney AKA “Obama Light”!

“Do you really think that adultery should be a crime?
As far as I know, the only countries / cultures that believe that little bit of insanity is ISLAM!
Please review what you said there, buddy.”
He lives in Georgia, where adultery is a crime.
