Poll: Gingrich Would Pick Up Bulk Of Cain Supporters If He Drops Out…

At which point we can stick a fork in Romney.

Via Ballot Box:

Newt Gingrich stands to benefit if Herman Cain were to withdraw or lose support in the Republican presidential race, according to a Public Policy Poll released on Tuesday.

Gingrich has a much better favorability rating with Cain supporters than does Mitt Romney. Seventy-three percent of Cain supporters view Gingrich favorably, while only 33 percent have a favorable view of Romney.

Gingrich is also the consensus second choice among Cain voters, with 37 percent saying Gingrich would be their back-up to Cain, compared to 14 percent for Michele Bachmann, 13 percent for Romney, and 12 percent for Perry.

313 million people in the US and we cannot find a good, clean Republican candidate to beat the worst Democrat in modern history.

DNC and libs did a fine job of lynching Cain, true to their racist slaver, Jim Crow, KKK, anti-Civil Rights roots, and being against the constitutional amendments brought forth by the GOP to free the slaves and give them citizenship (13th and 14th amendments).

Jeanine Garafalo, Boxer, DWS, Waters, Schultz, all of you racist massahs should be proud you gave that uppity Cain a good whippin’

The real losers will be the American people if Herman Cain gets kicked out of the race. It’s sad that people will allow media to rule over the court of public opinion based on decades-old accusations.

Meanwhile people will look the other way with Newt and Romney because they’re politicians and can be bought off.

    Noot says…
“I am more conservative than Romney”,
Or he could say: “I am less of a globalists than George Soros”,
It says something, but means nothing,
    He must prefer relative politics.

Where do I send a thank you note to that nice lady that got this ball rolling?

Cain was going nowhere and just impeding progress for the Republican Party.

The sooner a decision is made, the better the chances of defeating president downgrade.

The real losers will be the American people if Herman Cain gets kicked out of the race.
    ———–

First of all he isn’t being “kicked” out of the race. Its his own doing, but men like him rarely take responsibility for the consequences of their own actions. Second the American people would be at a sore disservice to have a man as president who is utterly ignorant on foreign policy as well as many other national security related issues. His ” I’ll consult with my advisers” wore thin- we are not voting for advisers. Can you imagine him sitting across the table from Vlad Putin and mumbling/stumbling deer in the headlights reactions like he did in the infamous “Libya” tape. I fail to see why you Hermanites think this guy is so qualified and fit for the job, all his sexual escapades aside. He has gone done in the polls not because of the sex accusations but because people realize he is not qualified for the job. They look at Gingrich and his stellar knowledge and then they look at mumbling Cain-who do you think they are going to pick ? Rational thinking always eventually rules the day. This guy has also had VERY serious health issues and if President being aged 67-72 that Stage 4 cancer may well come back especially considering he would be in the most stressful job in the world.
You Hermanites think this guy is “anti-establishment” LMAO- on the contrary-he was on the Federal Reserve, he was a powerful-rich business executive ( who created minimum wage/low paying jobs at pizza parlors) and a man who chased skirt–sounds pretty “establishment” to me. Its a mindset and he has it.
Here is a hard fact. If this guy had been white and made all the bumbles, lack of knowledge, stupid tax plan etc he would NOT have been as popular with you Hermanite fans. You would have viewed him in the same light as Huntsman
( he is a lot like him-a phony), but since he was black you thought it gave him an extra edge on Obama since blacks and minorities would likely vote for him and your black guy was better then the liberals. You can deny it all you want, but it is the truth. People got sick of his constant ” my bold 999 plan” crap-and that is all he ever had.

There are 313 million people, but only about a gross have executive governing experience sufficient to qualify them for the position, half of those are liberals, and most of the rest have already served in the executive arm of the federal government.

What’s left is Perry and Jindal, with outside shots for good-looking Congressmen like Paul Ryan. But only one of those three is running.

I’m not going to be one in that ‘bulk’ of people. I will not vote for Newt under any circumstances.

Anyone see how big Newt’s grin was last night when BOR brought the latest BS up about Cain…it was so telling.

Nope….I’ll vote for Paul before I ever do Newt…at least he’s ‘HONEST!’

I believe Herman Cain. He has always been my guy and he will continue to be my guy. The thought of voting for anyone else is revolting for me. I know we’ve got to do anything to keep Obama from winning, but the remaining choices are just awful.

I say the best we can do is go for electing conservative majorities in the senate and increasing the hold on the house if it looks like Newt will take the nomination. At least then we can make sure that the legislation is done right and can write Newt off if he balks.

  29. Shawn says:

    @TheRegulator

Your argument is about as pathetic as it can get. It’s like you take your baseless accusations courses from the public media. You are a MORON if you think that all these sexual allegations did no damage to Herman Cain. An absolute MORON. In addition, you’re also a hypocrite. Your hero Newt Gingrich asked for a divorce from his wife on her deathbed. And here you are giving me lectures about Herman Cain. Please. I don’t even have to mention all of his countless Mistresses that you so happily ignore to support your hero.

And then you go on to accuse me of being racist. Funny you have to be the first one that mentions the color of his skin. As if idealism didn’t exist. No, Herman Cain and his 999-plan, his plan to reform social security, and his promise to kill the income tax did wonders to help me support him. And no fucking moron like you who will listen and blindly nod to DECADES OLD ACCUSATIONS made by paid-off women DIRT POOR AND DEBT ever change that.

Goodness. Your ignorance is appalling. What don’t you people understand? This is the new norm. Whenever someone with true morality and idealism steps up to the plate, the media will band together and take them down with false allegations. It will dominate the national headlines day in and day out till the poll numbers go back down. And if you think that it won’t happen to Newt, you’re as dumb as the media thinks you are.

  30. Lightwave says:

    Newt?

Who supported the insurance mandate, amnesty, and the global warming hoax?

I will stay home in November 2012 and millions of Republicans like me will do so.

Perhaps letting the country burn for another four years will clean out the trash that has built up.

  31. Chaban says:
    November 29, 2011 at 6:40 pm

    @Shawn:

You lie about Gingrich asking for divorce from his wife on her deathbed.

But don’t take it from me. Here’s one of Gingrich’s daughters (both are 100% behind their dad by the way) setting the record straight:

    http://www.creators.com/opinion/jackie-gingrich-cushman/setting-the-record-straight.html

The main point I take away from this story is that Gingrich, while he and his wife were in the process of getting a divorce, made the effort to bring his daughters to the hospital so that they could visit with their mom while she was recovering from surgery.

It’s only over it you give in to the media crap, answer this question for me, if you were Herman’s 13 year girl on the side, and he was gaining speed for the White House, don’t you think the smart money, would have you waiting till your the Presidents mistress or ex-mistress, so you can write a book and make the big bucks.

    I’m still not buying it

It’s plain fact that BOTH the Ds AND the Rs brought us to this point -along with the overwhelming majority of Americans who, election after election, foolishly throw their votes away on Ds or Rs, foolishly accepting the idea -despite DECADES and MOUNTAINS of evidence to the contrary- that the Ds vs. Rs paradigm represents a (meaningful) “choice”. (Yeah, the choice between death by hanging vs. death by firing squad.)

… It’s plain fact that BOTH the Ds and the Rs are co-conspirators and traitors. Together, every year since 1969, they’ve voted to increase statism, and to put us further and further into debt (and to profit handsomely from it).

… It’s also plain fact that, for the safety and well-being of this country, they BOTH need to go -and to be replaced by a multi-party system that both respects and is limited by Constitutional constraints.

… That said, while BOTH the Ds and the Rs need to go, the immediate/short-term strategy needs to be to FIRST get rid of the Ds -to completely crush them and render them extinct- and THEN to get rid of the Rs.

… We really need an “Alternative Conservative Party”…
