Cain Says He Will Make a Decision On Future of His Campaign After He Meets With His Wife Face To Face…

Cain train at the end of the line?

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — He’s still plotting an aggressive campaign schedule across several states, but Herman Cain also has begun to outline a possible exit strategy from the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

The former business executive, facing a woman’s allegation of a 13-year extramarital affair, says a heavy emotional toll on his family — particularly his wife, Gloria, who he has not seen since the charge surfaced — could force him to call it quits. The shift comes as a growing chorus of would-be allies suggests he is no longer a viable presidential contender and Cain himself says fundraising has suffered.

Cain, a top-tier candidate just weeks ago, says he’ll decide in the next “few days” whether to abandon his White House bid, but not before he meets with his wife.

“Since I’ve been campaigning all week, I haven’t had an opportunity to sit down with her and walk through this with my wife and my family. I will do that when I get back home on Friday,” Cain told reporters gathered at his New Hampshire campaign headquarters Wednesday night. “I am not going to make a decision until after we talk face to face.”

    It’s over.
    Time to move on.

If he has any feelings for his wife, he will quit. His campaign is fatally damaged. Aside from the fact these allegations are probably bogus, he was not a worthy candidate.

He took a haphazard approach to campaigning, has yet to formulate his foreign policy and is not ready to be prez, no matter how many of you Cain diehards want to think so.

A Cain nomination would have assured another 4 years of Obozo. The Republic is at stake, we must win. Cain is not able.

How quickly Cain’s campaign went from 999 to 911…G’bye Cain.. Hope you enjoyed your brief ride…

He hasn’t already met with his wife face to face since this all came out? That is very telling, to me.

    PhotogGR8 –
I wish I had a dollar for every one of you suckers that are buying what the media is shoveling.

Youre opening your mouths and letting the media shovel it right in.
Theyre shaping the republican party, and all of you are helping them do it. They attack Palin, you ran away from her. They attack Perry, you ran away from him. They attack Cain, youre fleeing from him like hes a leper.

Youre going to piss and whine when we get another McCain. And guess whose fault it will be? Yours.

    The “lizard” (newt) = RINO.

    The “glove” (mitt) = RINO.

Go ahead. Jump in the bandwagon of either one of those. See where it gets you.
The left thinks they are both beatable. They probably are.

So anyone with more than 1 functioning brain cell, can see where this is going. Either a RINO who acts like a liberal, or a liberal who acts like a liberal, will be our President until 2016. The we will probably get another Democrat after that, because the media will tell you that we tried the Republican again (if we get the lizard or the glove), and it didnt work, again.

And youll buy it. Just like youre buying this shit right now.

@iwillnotsubmit – He has been on the road, campaigning. thats what you do when youre running for President. Im sure shes aware the this crap is as fake as an Obama speech, and hes talked to her on the phone a hundred times in the past couple weeks, and probably told him to keep going. Pretty obvious to me.

Sorry I had to explain this to you.

    Where’s the proof against him?
It is disgusting when the mfm can derail a candidate with innuendo and allegations. What a travesty. Most of these women have absolutely no credibility and in fact very nefarious connections to the o-hole regime.
I like Herman Cain. He isn’t perfect but he is a solid Conservative and a brilliant man. A quick study who loves America.
This is nothing short of a lynching. It is reprehensible. The mfm hopes to make other Conservatives think twice before running for office.
Of course the scandal ridden left will get a pass. Clinton, Kennedy, Wiener (until they HAD to address his ‘junque’ photos) Breck Girl Edwards, Jessie Jerkson, Bawny Fwrank, Rev. Wright and on and on.

The State Run Media wins again.

I was speaking in general, because the concensus on here has been that Cain should step down, and making cracks about Wests wife went right along with that. If youre supporting someone, say so, instead of cracking more jokes about them.

Sorry I had to explain it to you.

  13. PhotogGR8 says:

I suppose I could rant in general without knowing what I’m talking about but then being an angry guy just isn’t my gig.

Just a tip, if you’re looking to defend Cain, honey draws more flies than assholes.
Sorry if nobody ever explained that to you.

I realize it is possible that there is something to it, but so far I haven’t been buying any of this. The people all seem to have past records of false charges and lawsuits; why are they in any way credible? If this man is forced out of the race by completely false accusations, then shame on all of us for not demanding the truth instead of rushing to judge.
I agree with Shadowblitz70 that people have been too hasty to buy into the media BS. They have used this technique for decades and it works like a charm. Time to change the game.

Sadly, I think this was all manufactured. This is an example of Alinsky tactics that had the result the left wanted. Sad that one political party continues to pick our candidates.

chickadee.. proof? Surely you jest.. the left and the media need no proof of anything.. allegations of a sexual nature is sufficient.. especially sexual nature.

Again, the double standard of the media AND some posters here is mind boggling. IF this really happened, then it was while he was a private citizen and is definitely between Cain and his family. Why is the media so intent on lynching this man? Because he’s black and dares to step off the plantation, therefore he must be eliminated. If Cain backs out, then he’s playing in to their hands and they will be rewarded for this hit. If conservatives bail on Cain because of this, then they too are rewarding the progs for this hit and it will never stop. When are we conservatives AND independents going to hold progs to the same standards? Remember all the scandals involving progs where the media either ignored or downplayed the story and they all stood shoulder to shoulder with the creeps? They then attacked the accusers as morons, gold diggers, sluts and worse. The only way to deal with these attacks on conservatives is to think on how it has affected their job performance. If the family is intact, they were effective leaders and this happened in their private life years ago, end of discussion. We cannot afford to keep rewarding the leftards by demanding candidates who may or may not have committed a moral crime against their family to withdraw. No one is perfect and these hits will keep coming until we end up with another RINO as our candidate…exactly what the left wants.

The liberal extremists have targeted their assaults on Cain. There is no way he did anything with an intent of infidelity.

But if he can’t fight back better, then maybe he should bow out.

If he stays in, I want to see him aggressively fight back and counter-sue all those bitches.

I think Cain has a great heart, is very level headed, and is an astute businessman (businessman is what Romney is saying makes him (Romney) better than Newt) .. Cain has many qualities which are fine, but he is weak in many areas too, and stumbled a lot, that’s on him, not on people who can’t throw in with him. I’m not down on the man, but I’m still not endorsing him either. I would much rather see him than Bozo in the White House, but we will have to see how things shake out, and it’s up to Cain what he does, I’ll keep an open mind, and we’ll see.

BTW, what about those 60 some calls on his accusers phone bill, any more information on that anyone?

  24. JooJooB says:
    December 1, 2011 at 1:59 pm

BTW, let me admit that its none of my business about Herman Cain’s sex life, and I’m not trying to disqualify him because of it, but I’m betting popular opinion will, and we must be realistic. If Herman fights on and gets the nomination, I’ll support him. However, I think it’s stupid to bet on a losing horse and we need to beat Obama, or face certain peril as Americans. If Herman perseveres and doesn’t get the nomination how about VP? He’d sure blow Biden out of the water.
