Unreal: White House Classifies Fort Hood Terror Attack As “Workplace Violence”…
How absurd is it? So absurd even über-RINO Susan Collins is slamming the Obama admin for failing to identify the threat as radical Islam.
(Fox News) — Sen. Susan Collins on Wednesday blasted the Defense Department for classifying the Fort Hood massacre as workplace violence and suggested political correctness is being placed above the security of the nation’s Armed Forces at home.
During a joint session of the Senate and House Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday, the Maine Republican referenced a letter from the Defense Department depicting the Fort Hood shootings as workplace violence. She criticized the Obama administration for failing to identify the threat as radical Islam.
Thirteen people were killed and dozens more wounded at Fort Hood in 2009, and the number of alleged plots targeting the military has grown significantly since then. Lawmakers said there have been 33 plots against the U.S. military since Sept. 11, 2001, and 70 percent of those threats have been since mid-2009. Major Nidal Hasan, a former Army psychiatrist, who is being held for the attacks, allegedly was inspired by radical U.S.-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Yemen in late September. The two men exchanged as many as 20 emails, according to U.S. officials, and Awlaki declared Hasan a hero.

I linked to the speech given by FDR on December 8, 1941-the Date which will live in infamy and remarked how the speech is filled with the criteria we should look for in a Commander in Chief. I could not believe how powerful the speech was, to me, even 70 years later.

After thinking it over, I’m convinced -absurd though it be- that someone pissing in my ear and telling me it’s raining would actually be less absurd.
This is like if you were cheating on your woman, and are in the bed of your home with your co-cheater, and, while in the middle of the act, you accidentally turn on the TV and see that your woman is on LIVE TV in a highly-viewed/rated show about cheating and catching cheaters, walking up to the door of the bedroom. A MOMENT later, before you can react, the door opens, with cameras, and there before national TV, viewed in front of untold witnesses to the truth, you say “it’s not what it looks like… I’m not cheating.”
… I honestly have to conclude that “these sorts of things” basically have a dual purpose:
(1) They “feel” for what the PTB/corrupt traitors can get away with… what will be tolerated by “the public” -what will be noticed and responded to with intensity and argument, and conversely, what will NOT be noticed, but rather accepted placidly and without any widespread opposition and/or debate/arguing.
(2) They build on prior “findings”/”establishings”/precedents “established” by earlier doings of this nature.
Really. Can you think of another explanation? They know what they’re saying is a lie -as they surely always (or almost always) do- and they know that (at least some) people will recognize that it’s a lie.
So it really must be that they want to see how many will accept the lie and bend over.
We really can’t blame them… we’ve made it so easy for them.
If they were to wear shirts saying, “we’re making ourselves rich screwing you, and you’re not going to do a thing about it,” they’d probably be right.
