CBS Poll: Only 41% Say Obama’s Job Performance Good Enough To Deserve Second Term, 54% Think He Doesn’t…

(CBS News) — Less than one year out from Election Day 2012, voters remain overwhelmingly pessimistic about the economy, and their concerns are taking a toll on President Obama’s re-election chances. Just 41 percent of Americans think Mr. Obama has performed his job well enough to be elected to a second term, whereas 54 percent don’t think so.
The president’s overall approval rating remains in the mid-40′s, according to a CBS News poll — lower than the approval ratings of Mr. Obama’s four presidential predecessors at this point in their first terms. Mr. Obama’s approval rating is dragged down by his poor marks for his handling of the economy — which, at 33 percent, is the lowest rating of his presidency in CBS News polls.
Mr. Obama receives better marks on foreign policy and for his leadership skills. But when it comes to leading the economy in the right direction, voters are unimpressed: Just 28 percent think he has made progress on improving the economy. And most Americans say the president doesn’t share the public’s priorities, according to the poll, conducted December 5–7.

The real number who think he deserves a second term probably more like 20-25%. I trust CBS as much as I trust obozo himself.
If this is truly from CBS, someone is setting the stage for him to bow out of the election.

As I said earlier, the issue of him not being eligible to be POTUS has not gone away. There are 50 States that need to certify him as a Natural Born Citizen, which he obviously, isn’t.

In Indiana, they are investigating whether or not the papers were faked to get him on the ballot at all. They found many names that had been forged. Lord only know how much this was done before, and how many times it will be done for the 2012 elections.
The Dems are not stupid when it comes to their own internal, “fixed” polling.
They all know that it looks VERY bad for them, not only for the Presidency, but for the Senate as well.
I wouldn’t doubt that they are discussing, if not planning for the removal of Obama.

First of all, I don’t give a rat’s ass about how many people think he deserves a second term or not. Quite frankly, ONLY MY OPINION counts, and in my opinion, HE SURE as hell doesn’t even deserve the term he’s occupying now.

Reps are underrepresented, Dumbs are overrepresented, and independents are way overrepresented for who knows what reason.
Take out the skew, and I’m thinking president dickweed’s “deserves to be re-elected” number drops to 37 or 38. Maybe 36.
Doesn’t matter what people think about Obama. What matters is what people think about his upcoming opponent.
The democrat talking heads all agree the right track-wrong track numbers are appalling, his job performance numbers are disastrous and this latest poll ought to scare him white, yet they also kep citing a poll I’ve never found that a large majority of people think he likeable. I detest the son of a bitch, but maybe that’s just me. I’d sure like to see the “likeablity poll” and it’s internals. I think its just a bullshit talking point to keep them from going home and opening a vein.
Hillary will never run. She would lose the black vote in droves. Anyone who steps on the shadow of the Chicago Jesus is a goner.

Watching his softball interview on 60 Minutes. What a lying, seditious *sshole. Can’t despise this person anymore, don’t think. But there are still 11 months left until the election where he gets his severance, so plenty of chance to be even more despicable..
All of you that think this poll number is wrong, that Obama’s approval/ popularity is actually lower are just deceiving yourselves. You are basing that perception on your attitude and the attitude of folks you generally associate with.
The fact is nearly 47% of Americans now are beneficiaries of government entitlement programs. Many of that number are TOTALLY DEPENDENT on that entitlement. Obama represents a continuation of the program, so they will vote for him no matter what.
Many Americans have no conception of what the founders envisioned for the country. They don’t know what the Bill of Rights is. They aren’t aware of the sacrifices in blood by previous generations to make America the freest, most prosperous society in the planet’s history. Forty years of leftist indoctrination trickling down through universities and the mainstream media has take its toll and eroded our foundations.
If most Americans had a real awareness of the country’s history and Constitutional principles, Obama’s numbers would be in the teens or low 20s at best. Leftist indoctrination has eroded much of the nation’s foundation. Don’t rest on your laurels and think “Oh, these numbers cant be real.”
