President Obama defended his economic record in an interview with CBS’s “60 Minutes” and said he has always thought reviving the U.S. economy would be a “long-term project.”
The president said struggling Americans “have every reason to be impatient,” in the interview which aired Sunday night.
That’s because “reversing structural problems in our economy that have been building up for two decades, that [is] going to take time,” Obama told CBS.
Obama rejected the notion that he promised too much in terms of his ability to right America’s fiscal ship.

I think he’s channeling Lenin now. When Barry says “reversing structural problems in our economy that have been building up for two decades” he is actually referring to a much longer period of time. This has been a free market economy since the Mayflower pilgrims attempt at community sharing failed. Turning the US which is already partially socialist into a workers paradise like North Korea will take more than three years although he has given it a good shot.
Even Lenin had to back off commmunism try the New Economic Policy to try to revive the Russian economy in the 1920′s. I did not watch the show…I can’t stand to listen to him. We have heard the same crap before and will until the 2012 election.

I tried to watch it but lasted only 5 seconds of listening to his talking points sh*t and turned it off. After he gives his usual 5 minute filibustery, pedantic, banal answers, I’d expect Kroft to say, “what did you just say?”

The results so far are: ACORN,Fannie-Freddie, housing bubble,17 % increase in education costs,increased spending on SNAP and medicaid,increased government loans and grants,colleges full of remedial students,massive education loan fraud,more people remaining on welfare/unemployment and government -hospital-education jobs being filled at up to 32% over racial quotas with unqualified employees .
A full welfare package for a single mother with 2 children in NY equals $48,000 ,tax free, per year,not including grants and loans.This encourages single parenthood and unemployment . 70 % of black children are born to single mothers, 41 % of Hispanic and 22% white.
Obama is creating more fraud and systemic abuse of social programs than job incentives, thereby defeating his own purpose.
Add to that Obama’s other big spending programs and we are speeding down a dark road towards a bankruptcy/dead end sign with no brakes and 20 people fighting over the steering wheel.
