RINO Sen. Scott Brown Slams House Republicans For Second Day In A Row…

Yeah, I know he’s a Mass Republican but he’s been about as unreliable as they come.

(Briefing Room) — Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) ripped House Republicans for voting to move the Senate-passed payroll tax cut extension to a conference committee.

“It angers me that House Republicans would rather continue playing politics than find solutions,” Brown said in a statement. “Their actions will hurt American families and be detrimental to our fragile economy. We are Americans first; now is not the time for drawing lines in the sand.”

Brown, who faces a tough reelection fight from Democrat Elizabeth Warren, has been outspoken in calling for House Republicans to embrace the Senate extension.

A day earlier Brown said that it would be “irresponsible and wrong” for House Republicans to not pass the Senate bill, which he called a good deal. He said that he did actually “appreciate” the GOP’s drive to extend the tax cut for a year but that the two-month bill was worth accepting too.

With GOP “friends” like this, who needs enemies?

This is why I’m considered one of those “purity” conservatives so reviled at Ace’s place. I’d rather know someone’s a flat-out enemy than a more-than-likely RINO traitor.

Turds like this are why I left the Republican Party for the Tea Party. There really should be a litmus test for conservatives instead of blindly accepting jilted Democrats.

He sees that he has no chance of re-election unless he engages in fratricide. Too bad, but that’s the price of being a Republican in the Democratic People’s Republic of Taxachusetts.

Traitorous twit. Why doesn’t he just switch parties then? He has already engaged in successive ball-washing.

Hey Brown you turd, the real R’s want the extension for a FULL YEAR! What is so hard to understand about that? Go flush yourself!

He seems to be the one playing politics here!! Pandering to the Demo’s who ARE playing games here!! As far as I can see, the Republicans want the bill to go for a whole year because it is impossible to implement in 2 months; surely a whole year is better than only 2 months??

The base that helped get this Brown elected in Taxachusetts is so disappointed in him being such a RINO, I really don’t expect to see him in the win column on November 2012.

    Really sad.

Thanks to the likes of Elizabeth Warren, Scott Brown is sitting pretty.

He has the Massachusetts voters who voted for him in his back pocket. And He doesn’t have to do anything in return for it.

I have regretted my vote for him, but there is no way I want to see Elizabeth Warren in there for the rest of my life.

I am SO SICK of people trying to excuse leftist RINOs by saying they come from leftist states. I don’t care what state you’re from: values don’t vary by geography. Conservatism is Conservatism, and liberality is liberality, and Scott Brown is nothing but an ordinary, garden variety LIBERAL, no matter where he is. His purpose was to try blocking ObamaCare, he failed. Vote the punk out, bounce him out of the GOP, and replace him with a REAL CONSERVATIVE and Republican. Put him in the same sh*tpile that McLame belongs in.

  15. GeorgeMasonIV says:

When exactly will it be time for the Republicans to “draw lines in the sand”?
It is never the right time for RINOs. That view point resulted in the Great Society programs, Medicare, Mdeicaid, and now Obamacare.

According to the Tea Party, the time to draw lines is long overdue- hence the fracturing of the Republican party.

If he thinks this is going to help him win re-election he is a fool. His only chance now is to switch parties and even that won ‘t help against Warren—too many illegal alien and union voters.

I was so excited for Mass and Republicans when Brown won. Now I am just so very disappointed in this man, he certainly can’t be depended on.
I’m an Okie, but still was happy for Mass. at the time.
I simply must stop watching elections all the time. Not good for my blood pressure.

  22. Anthony Bruno says:

Sen. Brown is like so many other Republicans who support this foolish and expensive legislation. A two month extension of a DUMB payroll tax rate cut
AND extending unemployment benefits which will burden state tens of
billions…on top of the $40 billion they already owe the Feds.

And, Brown has the gall to criticize any Republicans who think this bill will not do a DAMN thing to improve the economy or create jobs.

Brown has become quite comfortable in Teddy’s old seat…and apparently is equally comfortable with Kennedy-style reasoning. Another lost soul in the
    bowels of Washington captivity.

Scott Brown probably has good intentions but is seriously misguided in why so many people put him there. He chose to get friendly with Obama so early on that it seemed obvious from then he would be totally ineffective.
Ironic that Obama accuses GOP of playing games with this moron defending him. Midnight basketball will save the world is that right Brown?

If we wanted a Democrat for a Senator, we would have voted for his opponent last time around.
