(NYT) — Mitt Romney, who is one of the wealthiest men ever to seek the presidency, said on Wednesday that he had no intention of releasing his tax returns if he became the Republican presidential nominee, breaking with a long tradition in both parties. [...]
A spokesman for President Obama‘s re-election campaign blasted Mr. Romney and questioned whether he had something to hide in his finances.
“Why does Governor Romney feel like he can play by a different set of rules?” said Ben LaBolt, a spokesman for the Obama campaign. “What is it that he doesn’t want the American people to see? Governor Romney, who has favored secrecy over openness time after time, should live up to the same standard of disclosure his father and others set.”
The Democratic National Committee took only hours on Thursday to unveil a new Web site, www.whatmittpays.com. The site allows visitors to select their income level and compare how much less they would have paid if they were taxed at what the group assumes would be Mr. Romney’s lower rate.

Perhaps Romney is just too decent to be our next President. The current one has damaged the honor and dignity of the highest office in the land almost beyond repair. But we must remain resolute in our goal to save and restore America in 2012. We fail if the outcome isn’t ABO–Anybody But Obama.

btw: How many of us citizens could imagine going for a job interview or being hired w/out supplying where we attained our education, our basic ID papers and such? YET, here we sit with a POTUS that is still a mystery in this sense of lacking documents.

Anyone can do a Google or a Lexus-Nexus search and find tons of information about any president, even mundane things like who their classmates in grade school were. And most of this info could be obtained even when they were sitting presidents. In terms of historical research, Obama’s life history remains a big blank slate. What very little that is there is contradictory at best. But that’s not a problem because the MSM is in the tank for him. He and the DNC own them.
