Pew Survey: Shockingly, Americans Still Think Socialism Blows…
Newsweek hardest hit.
(The Hill) — While it’s been a topsy-turvy couple of years for the U.S. economy, Americans have kept a pretty consistent view of such words as capitalism and socialism, a new survey found.
The Pew Research Center found that half of U.S. adults reacted favorably to capitalism, while 4 in 10 responded negatively.
Meanwhile, 6 out of 10 adults disapproved of socialism, while 31 percent endorsed it.
All those responses, Pew said, are largely unchanged from April 2010, the last time the group checked on those words.

The difference?
The short answer is that Socialism attempts to define Good and Evil for the population (in violation of religious freedom), and Capitalism could care less about morality.

Worth noting that Pew skews to the left big time, so I’d guess it’s even worse than they are claiming.

Which ones?
What were they asked?
how do you define “reacting favorably”?

I think they are over estimating … and things are actually worse for them
otherwise they wouldn’t load these polls with leftists
the damage is when this gets repeated as fact…
and worse… accepted as fact by the unenlightened
Interestingly, “conservative” is viewed more negatively with college brainwashing, er education.
53% College grad + regard conservative positively, versus 63% of persons with some college. (pg 5)

There was a time when America was more honest, and smaller, and polls were a viable way to take the temperature on issues, but I think they are very unreliable now, the pool of people has gotten too big and society is so fragmented that getting an accurate reading from a poll is just shadow boxing .. it doesn’t really reflect reality, just the small pool of people they happened to tap into on a given poll.
Young people have their own reality, and it doesn’t have anything to do with anything, except partying. Why do they all conform the the street rats? America has been turned into a shithole by Hollywood, High Finance, Government corruption, Corporate greed (unfortunately, this is somewhat of a problem), and several generations of television which has produced a growing culture of couch potatoes, with moral bankruptcy, and a lack of ethics or standards.
I guess we have Obama and the DemonRats to thank for finally awakening the American public.
If all goes well, it will be 50 years before they get any power back at all.

Lets not candy coat the issue. 31% still sthinks socialism is preferable AND, just as bad, 67% has a positive view of progressivism.
Either we will become socialists as the 67% figure out socialism is what is compatible with progressivism or, what this poll indicates is that two thirds of the population is down right ignorant about progressivism. Bad news whichever way you look at it.

I don’t know if that is a real magazine cover or not. It doesn’t appear gernuine but that doesn’t alter the the fact that the image is anatomically incorrect which is in line with progressive thinking which is absurdly skewed. Simple minded , delusional dolts.
