Brushing aside criticism of President Obama’s recess appointments made while Congress was in session, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi told The Daily Caller that his decision was “bold” and said Democrats are “glad” the president “took the lead” on the appointments.

–Yeah, I see your point. But I come at it from a bit of a different angle. I really see the Obama inner-circle coming at this from a lawyer’s perspective. If you go back and watch some if the town-halls and debates he did in 2007 & 08, you hear him talk a lot about how Congress had abdicated its oversight responsibility when dealing with executive over-reach, or what-ever-you-want-to-call-it.
I personally believe that he is always pushing issues which will necessitate a decision on the part of Congress–or in their dereliction the courts–as to where co-equal branches end, and outright monkey-wrenching of the deliberative process begins. This is more than likely where we would differ an how much, or if, the federal gov’t should be activist when dealing with national issues.
But, despite the fevered egos–the ones who aren’t sock-puppets and rage-junkies–this is not despotism 101, in as-much-as it pains me to admit that 8 years of Bush wasn’t either.
She needs her hands duct taped to the podium and her dentures removed for her next presser.

Thanks! Pictures of her have always creeped me out and now I know why. She does have those empty, scary doll eyes. Freaky! My wish is that Pelosi has a long life so she can experience first hand the destruction she created……and then go on trial. I would love to see all of them lose pensions, health care benefits and their ill gotten gain and pay back the American taxpayers. I’m beginning to agree with Rick Perry’s idea of a part-time congress.
On another note, hasn’t it been well established that the Dems will now say and do anything to keep power? The elections will not be pretty, if we even last that long.

Face facts. The government has not felt itself constrained by the Constitution since FDR tossed it over the side. The asswipe is just more in your face than most of the others. When he disagrees with it he just says fuck it and moves on.
