Kiss of Death: Pelosi Praises Ron Paul…

The other GOP candidates would cringe in horror if Pelosi said something even remotely positive about them, for some reason I get the impression Ron Paul would be the exception. Call it a hunch.

Via Washington Examiner:

Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, received some warm personal praise from an unexpected quarter, as House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., described him as “a gentleman,” although she seemed to reserve the right to attack him if he wins the Republican nomination.

“I have a great deal of respect for Ron Paul,” Pelosi said today on CNN, when asked to comment on her long-time fellow representative. “He acts upon his convictions and he’s a nice fellow in the Congress of the United States. He’s a gentleman.”

They wouldn´t cringe in horror if Pelosi said something about one of them, other than Ron Paul, being a good person. Gingrich even filmed a global warming ad with her…

    Ron Paul is a 10 to 1′er.

For every 10 things he says that I agree with, he says 100 things that are completely insane.

So was marshall applewhite. They may very well be related. Wonder what Paul’s take on UFO’s is? Anybody know?

Nanzi vetted, approved and endorsed. This should put the end to this little nut case, but alas Soros’ money will keep him in the mix through the general just to make sure.

The bag praises old baggy eyes. I guess he could use her for an eyebrow check.
Maybe she will swoop him away on her broom, and out of our hair.

Notice that she didn’t say a word about Paul on policy. A lot of people like Paul’s isolationist tendencies, but agree with him on little else. Saying someone is a decent human being is one thing, agreeing with their politics is another. There are plenty of Democrats whom I find to be decent individuals, however I would not want them in office.

Please do not ever use the words ‘kiss’ and ‘Pelosi’ in one sentence again.

Now I have to go take a brain-douche.

hey, i tried to join huff post so that that i could be a distraction to the koolaid drinkers, but you would not believe how difficult, nay imposible it is. gee whiz, you need an account, comments are screened, you have to log in for each comment, dems really make it difficult to tell the truth about barry, the lying champion of class warfare, misdirection, and big govt.

Yeah, that old geezer is an insane nutjob. He actually wants to adhere to the Constitution, cut spending, lower taxes, shrink government, audit/end the Federal Reserve, end crony capitalism, end bailouts, end entitlements and corporate welfare, stop socialized medicine, reform our corrupt monetary system, promote sound money, secure our borders and protect our individual freedoms and liberties.

I wish Soros would stop giving all those military folks the money they donate to Ron Paul. Obviously, most of our politically involved soldiers are confused. I mean, just because Paul’s pro-life doesn’t mean he shouldn’t want to bomb, invade and nation build all over the world. Doesn’t he know we’re the “benevolent global hegemony?” Doesn’t he know that if the world won’t come to democracy, we’ll take democracy to them? Advocating for peace and non-intervention abroad is just so, well so…. classicly conservative. He needs to enter the neo/new conservative era. Why, I bet he never has been a liberal democrat, so how dare he claim to be a contemporary Republican.

Hopefully, “conservatives” will vote for anyone other than crazy Dr. Paul so America can remain status quo and continue on our path of exceptionalism…

IMO The “kiss of death” for Ron Paul would arguably be when he opened his mouth.

But realistically, its when he whined about Iran having nukes. You can probly count on one hand how many people outside the msm dont find that comment outlandish, offensive, and naive in the extreme. In other words, only idiotic Paulbots and the media dont think Iran is any sort of threat to anyone.

If you actually paid ANY attention to anything Ron Paul says, your comment might actually be worth the pixels it takes to put it on a computer screen. Having read most of the ignorance that you just wasted our time with, I want those seconds of my life back.

And you probably wouldnt be supporting the crazier than batshit racist anti jew isolationist MORON Ron Paul.

aw, she said he’s a gentleman who doesn’t flip flop but actually believes something & sticks to it … hardly a kiss of death, it’s more proof of personal likeability & electability … now if Pelosi agreed with him on policy (like she has with Gingrich, Santorum, Romney, etc) then that’d be a problem

  16. What? says:

“Kiss of Death”. I always thought that if Pelosi kissed you, you would die. Only thing missing from her is the sickle.

  17. Rufus says:

I think this is really a Democratic ploy to screw with the Republican Primary.

At this point they know how bad things look for them and they will try anything to disrupt the process, from sending out their OWS Riot Squad to Pelosi opening her piehole and praising Ron Paul.

    RE: vetting Obama…

    Read this:
    http://www.libertynewsonline.com/article_301_31406.php

An Alabama Court has announced that it will hear arguments as to whether Barack Hussein Obama II is in fact eligible to appear on the State Presidential Primary Ballot.
By agreeing to hear the case, the Alabama Courts have effectively stalled any efforts by the Democratic Party to place Obama on the ballot.

If I’m not mistaken, Idi Amin was also a “Doctor” of sorts. Kinda like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are “Reverands” of sort.

I think the paulbots do like his policies and they can spout them very well. But I think the real reason he attracts so many devoted sycophants is because of his underlying racism and anti-semitism. His followers can have someone to blame and they are defiantly claiming this mantel of anger.
I was talking to a paulbot last night at a party. He was calm and rational until my friend (Jewish) challenged him on paul’s stand on Israel. The guy actually said he didn’t care if Israel is blown off the map. He also said, he didn’t care if paul is a racist because paul cares abt. America. He didn’t even try to deny the racism. WTH?

Well, we weren’t having any of it. The conversation got heated.
The creep said, “fck this crap,” and stormed out.
    Oh well . . . . . good riddance.

She said he was a nice guy. Yet another over dramatic headline. Oh my god! Pelosi called Ron Paul a gentlemen! Ewwwww! He should be a douche bag and make everyone hate him so that nothing ever gets done. Representatives can’t associate with one another for fear the media, owned by the corporations, who have a vested interest in congressional gridlock, might write up a headline that reads “kiss of death” every time they say the most basic kind word about one another.
