Why it’s not legally considered murder when the same fetus is two or three months old is beyond me.
(TheDC) — An abortion provider from southern New Jersey was arraigned Friday on five counts of murder, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
Prosecutors in Cecil County, Md. allege that Dr. Steven Brigham delivered lethal injections to five late-term fetuses at his clinic in Voorhees, N.J. and then extracted them in another clinic in Elkton, Md.
Authorities allege that Brigham, who runs a chain of abortion centers in five states, approached late-term abortions this way because New Jersey has stricter laws about who may provide outpatient surgeries.

Its that word “fetus” ZIP. No woman in even the first couple months of pregnancy ever says I’m having a fetus, or here, want to feel my fetus kick, or the doctor says my fetus is doing fine. Maybe I’m old fashioned but words do matter.

In reality (something the libs know not of) life could not be “created” without the conception of a viable sperm and a viable ovum coming together to produce a viable embryo. In other words, life “continues on’ at conception. In my belief system, negation of that life by means of human intervention (abortion) becomes an act of murder outright. Parse it any way you want, if you abort a viable fetus at ANY point, you have commited the most unspeakable of crimes, and being agnostic, I can only hope there is a hell waiting for those that do!
btw, these “lethal injections” given to viable BABIES was the same MO of Tiller the dead Baby Killer. Nice for the resume.

I am opposed to abortion, but I do understand some of the reasoning behind keeping it legal. Abortion; ending an unwanted prgnancy, has been happening since before recorded history.
I am old enough to remember back alley abortions and coat hanger abortions where the woman died from complications.
No matter what laws you pass, women are going to want to, and will find a way to end an unwanted pregnancy.
THIS guy goes beyond any accepted limits on the practice.

You realize those “coat hanger” stats were greatly exaggerated to push Roe v Wade. I know several women who almost died from legal abortions. Would like to see mortality stats from these, but you’ll never find them.

Yes I do, but abortion has been legal for a long time now, and it’s one of those instances where it is impossible to “put the toothpaste back in the tube”.
I’m not saying abortion is good, but you must be somewhat realistic about it.
Banning it completely will not work.
Doing everything we can to discourage it, and stopping late term abortions and butchers like this guy is my point.

What kind of woman carries a baby that long, and then has it murdered? Where motherhood and womanhood are honored, abortion is not the norm, but the aberration and a shame, because it’s murder of life.
My son was born at 31 weeks in 1981 after an accident, they said he would die. He was small, weak, and his lungs were shredding. When he lived, they said he had brain damage. As he grew up I sometimes wondered, but grow up he did into a strapping 6’1″ and 200 lbs handsome man, who served this country for six years after 911, and now has his own family and successful business.
Those mothers are wrong to kill their sons and daughters!

If I can’t murder someone who causes me inconvenience, a woman can’t murder her baby who causes her inconvenience, or a doctor can’t murder someone else’s baby because its inconvenient. Let’s be consistent.
And save the “life of the mother” and “cases of incest or rape” crap (for that is what those excuses are). Abortion is never necessary to save a mother’s life. Abortion is the willful destruction of an innocent baby (which means a surgery–like a hysterectomy–that has the side effect of killing a baby is NOT an abortion).
In addition, all modes of justice hold that the guilty party be punished, not the innocent. Why would we change that for rape or incest? Whose fault is it the woman was raped or incest occurred? Not the baby’s. Therefore, justice holds that the innocent should live.

I don’t get it. You kill a woman who is pregnant, and the baby dies, and you get charged with murder for both deaths.
You stick foreceps/scissors in the back of the head of a newborn child, suck out the childs brain, and that is legal.

Please understand, I am not in favor of abortion, but you must face the reality that the “medical procedure” exists, and will continue to exist, no matter what we do.
I am 100% against public funding of it.
The question of “when life begins” has been debated and legislated (not to everyone’s satisfaction).
As you further the fight against abortion, you also must further education to prevent unwanted pregnancies. But too many people are against that too.
You must face the reality that since the 1960′s, (the advent of the “sexual revolution) a lot more people have been having sex without the intent to procreate.
But, pregnancies do happen.
I just believe we need to treat this issue with common sense and a realistic approach.
The “Doctor” in this article should be punished as charged… with murder… as a murderer.

I refer @mrteachersir, to the hideous planetary inclination to perform genocide against females, and if not kill outright, then to subjugate as subhuman, and if not that -then to control, fearing the female sexuality, and if not that, then to mortify femininity and the maternal (as is done in the west)by making of females into objects and brainwashing them that they are so.
I don’t see that happening anywhere to men and fatherhood. The millenia continues as patriarchal. There is no comparison. None.

It Can Be Done if You (We) Try Hard Enough. The problem is spineless politicians who are worried about voter backlash, riots, civil unrest.. It’s all future bullshit. Why doesn’t some organization provide for an anonymous survey of the 30+ million abortion mothers (not) and how they feel about it in retrospect? I would guess there is an enormous regret about the children who never were allowed to have a life, the joy of raising a child, and yes the hardships that can occur. It’s called facing life by protecting life.

I fail to see what someone else does with their life is any business of yours. Tell me, what is your grand plan to enforce a ban on abortion?
