Team Obama Defends DNC Chief Wasserman Schultz From “Debbie Downer” Ads…
This is the new ad being run in her district by Karl Rove’s American Crossroads super-PAC.

PRESIDENT OBAMA is riding to the rescue of Florida Congresswoman and recently appointed Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz. On Tuesday, the chief fund-raiser of Obama’s re-election effort, Rufus Gifford, emailed members of the DNC’s National Finance Committee, asking them to donate $1,000 to Schultz’s campaign for her to defend herself against the “Saturday Night Live”-inspired “Debbie Downer” ads that the Karl Rove-founded super-PAC American Crossroads has bought in her district.
In his email, Gifford said Rove has “targeted Debbie’s race and flooded her district in Florida with tons of money.” Super-PAC donors can give unlimited amounts anonymously, and American Crossroads has raised tens of millions to use against Democrats. Gifford did not respond, but a spokeswoman for the Obama campaign said “We support the congresswoman,” saying the email “speaks for itself.”

Man that ad is a freaking masterpiece! That reduces that bitch to a joke and totally undercuts any authority she ever had. Now when conservatives and independents see her, they are going to just laugh in her face and the democrats are going to wince. I’m definitely going to throw Rove a few bucks for this one.
