Perry’s supporters will NOT go to Romney.
They may be evenly divided between Gingrich and Santorum, but with the ABC revelations about Newt, they could go more to Santorum.

Rasmussen uses a robot-calling poll taker, and usually uses a 3 day rolling average.
They only poll people with land lines, but say they adjust it for the large proportion of people who only have cell phones.

It’s not reliable, no matter what they say.

Yes, but not for long, they will gang ra….him in the news with the ex-wife’s story and conservatives will respond negatively.
With a media who is so far left and so far gone as we have, how on earth will ANY candidate on the right win the election? I pray to GOD that this America has awakened, but don’t count on it at all.

I can hear the opening question for Newt in next debate: “Speaker Gingrich, as a lying cheating bucket of dog slime, what will your evil administration do to curb the epidemic of toe fungus affecting the gay lesbian in wheel chairs community as they strive to be the driver of any economic recovery beyond the extensive growth fueled by the actions of the best administration to ever hold sway over this nation of stupid rednecks who wouldn’t know their asses from first base if….

I think you get the picture.

No wonder Newt ran from her.. witch!

Just like the LSM to go running for dirt to fling at the Conservative candidates, while Obama is a lying, phoney, treasonous, did I say lying? Son of a bitch.

Candidates should tell LSM to stuff the lying, un-American Obama up their ass and stop hounding ‘real’, ‘legal’, Americans who are trying to serve their country.

This is what I wrote about the whole ex-wife issue last night:

This is devastating, but I actually believe that it’s also an amazing opportunity for Newt.
Let me explain, the guy is masterful at political jujitsu, especially when the media try to play games with him,
So — this will be brought up at the next debate. And that’s when Newt should strike.
If I were Newt I would bring up the double standard. I would talk about the fact that he doesn’t have the 60′s Timothy McVeigh in his background (BAM!). I would talk about Rashid Khalidi and point out that with a President Gingrich, Netanyahu wouldn’t have to watch his back 24/7 (WHACK!).
I would talk about the infamous Khalidi/Obama video that sitting in a vault in Los Angeles and I would dare the “journalists” on stage to pledge to the American people to get to the bottom of this and make sure the video is released before the next election.
Of course, there are so many things he can bring up. He just has to list them all.
As I said, the wife story can be devastating… if Newt doesn’t fight back. But if he does, it will backfire in the media’s face.
And I GUARANTEE that if he does all of the above, that debate hall down in South Carolina will EXPLODE! Newt made history when he got that standing ovation last Saturday… well, get ready for a 5-minute standing ovation if he goes scorched-earth tomorrow.
And I’m not even a huge fan of Newt. I just LOATHE the media. They are the scum of the earth.
Also, I don’t like Romney. And I can’t stand that moron Ron Paul who discards 1,400 of jihad history every time he pretends to know about the Middle East.
Once again, this is a great opportunity… if played right.

CHARLESTON, S.C. — The Daily Caller has learned that 100 tea party leaders from 25 states will announce Thursday that they are supporting Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and will form a coalition called Tea Partiers With Newt.

The news comes as signs appear that tea partiers here in South Carolina, which holds a primary Saturday, may be coalescing around Gingrich.

“My sense is there is a growing coalition behind Newt Gingrich,” Joe Dugan, who leads the state’s chapter of Tea Party Patriots, told TheDC.

A news release that will go out Thursday from the Gingrich campaign says the coalition will “help elect Newt and defeat Massachusetts Moderate Mitt Romney and then President Barack Obama.”

Gingrich Hoping for Boost From Sarah Palin

In a Fox News appearance on Tuesday night, the 2008 vice presidential nominee stopped just short of endorsing Gingrich but told Sean Hannity that if she were a South Carolina resident, she would vote for him “in order to keep this thing going.”

Far more entertainment than news providing, the mainstream is rewriting soap operas for presidential candidate Newt, while still ignoring the Nightmare of the Obamas

Count on ABC boomerang on Newt’s ex-wife interview

The year-and-a-half-old ABC “scoop”, in which Newt Gingrich’s ex boasts her one interview could end her one time hubby’s political career, is more about the contemporary media than it is about a presidential candidate.

The Daily Beast’s Howard Kurtz said a mouthful when he posited that Marianne Gingrich does not say anything in the new interview that she hasn’t said in the past.

The Esquire already ran with the same story in September 2010, if anyone cares.

I think the Estabs are looking at Romney and Newt, and are saying to themselves they are screwed. Romney cannot explain Bain Capital, and will not back off Romneycare, plus he has an awful record on the 2nd Amendment. In short, Romney does not defend being a Republican, or a Conservative. He has a deer in the headlight look permanently. Plus, he does not energize the voters.

Gingrich has enough skeletons in his closet to rival Bill Clinton. Well, except for all the murders. LOL! Whether it is couch deal with Pelosi, his favorite presidents being Andrew Jackson, Woodrow Wilson, FDR, or Teddy Roosevelt, or whatever, Newton looks very Progressive. One could at least assert he appears to be schizophrenic on Progressivism, and Conservatism. Estabs see the Obama Machine rolling out some horrific ads on the Newt.

Rush is talking about this now, and I have to agree with him on this alone today. The Estabs are in a pickle, and they know it. Now the question becomes, WHO might they ask to enter the fray? Santorum has won Iowa, Romney has won NH, and Gingrich might win SC, or at least come in 2nd. This does not look like a race that is over, and ready to crown Mittens for sure!

What is the over under that Jindal, Palin, Rubio, West, or Governor Bob McDonell from VA might enter the race?

FYI, these polls are very unpredictable right now with the debate tonight. I am not betting on any of this data at the moment. The vote is not until Saturday, and I am thinking this could be so up in the air that we do not know who the winner is until sometime Sunday afternoon.

I would strongly suggest that if you all want American political debate/political vetting to be more about politics than simply a constant stream of these Alinskytard character-type assassinations, then get behind Newt. Because if your criteria for picking a leader is simply that they never had the sad misfortune of pairing up with a vindictive, opportunistic, money-grubbing bitch, you might one day find yourself with a president that loathes and secretly wants to ruin your great nation, and a first lady that for the first time in her life is proud of you for choosing him.

  34. Duckhead says:
    January 19, 2012 at 2:14 pm

During the debate tonight, I would love it if, the first time he’s given the floor, Newt would take a moment to walk over and shake Rick Santorum’s hand and congratulate him on his CLEAR VICTORY in Iowa.

Can you imagine the blow to Romney’s ego?

  35. veldy says:
    January 19, 2012 at 2:27 pm

@maggie-I’d guess Santorum would be on a short list, don’t know if he’d be a favorite of mine, I wonder if there aren’t a couple governors that would be ahead of him.

  36. freeus says:
    January 19, 2012 at 2:31 pm

I agree with all of you saying that we should get behind Newt when it comes to Romney, or Obama, BUT are you guys forgetting there is another candidate in this mix? Rick Santorum?

For those saying the Indies, Mods, or anti-Obama Dems will not go for Rick, may I suggest you look at Zip’s post on the epically crashing approval of Dear Leader? And do not be so sure people are not fed up with the immorality, broken families, attack on Christianity 24-7 America. Santorum could win this in a landslide just like Reagan.

People are scared shitless over where this country is going. Have you seen how Jews are being attacked HERE in America? How about the physical assaults, not the TSA ones, but the attacks on our elderly population by thugs? The increase in gangs? The suck ass movies coming from Hollywood that our children are seeing, and dittos to tv? The condition of inner city, and public schools overall? So, before you guys insist we all get on the Newt train, please remember there is one other anti-Romney candidate in this, and he won Iowa.

*P.S. Is anyone concerned about the state of the GOP in possibly fixing elections towards the Estab candidate of choice? This thing in Iowa is stinky. Romney can win with 8 votes, but Santorum cannot with 39? Weird. The 8 counties missing were still missing when Romney led, or won by 8. Just saying.

His Ex is obviously a bitter woman. My wife was previously married to an asshole that cheated and beat her. When we met she was still bitter and rightfully so. After a few years she moved on and was happy with our new life. She no longer wasted any energy on the past. Friends would update her on her Ex but eventually she didn’t even care to listen.

Newt and this woman have been divorced for twelve years. This story says more about her and the main stream media than about Newt. So far he is handling it properly.

If Newt gets the nomination the press will do its best to eviscerate him. I will enjoy the press endeavoring to extract Newt’s foot from Obama’s ass after each debate.
