    The fact is, Diamond’s claims are nothing. All these nutrients we are always told to consume for a balanced diet and better health are derived from whole foods. So, does the FDA intend to go after the fish industry and other food sources that are high in necessary nutrients?

    I hope Diamond takes the damn FDA to court.

    The FDA is completely out of control. Drugs that have really nasty side-effects and little or no therapeutic value are still on the market, while those assholes run around pursuing walnut packagers with horseshit complaints.

    The standard says that a drug is any substance that “intended for diagnosis, treatment, cure or mitigation of disease”. I don’t see, as a pharmacist, where Diamond Nuts claimed they were curing heart disease. They just mentioned walnuts were rich in the Omega-3 fatty acids. There IS an approved Omega-3 fatty acid prescription product on the market (Lovaza), but the walnut growers are not making any therapeutic claims.

    This seems like a ruse to cover for the shitty job they are doing in monitoring drugs which do have too many side effects to be therapeutically beneficial.

    They are protesting for Free Speech and they have a whole avenue to march peacefully without any interference form anyone.

    You see a guy waving an American Flag that is upside down.

    The video shows people singing protest songs with lyric books and people dancing around like a perpetual party that started in early 1970 and they haven’t figured out it ended decades ago.

    These are also the very same people that would drag you and your family out of your house in the middle of the night, to seize and redistribute your wealth and assets for the common good.

    Try doing this Shit in any Communist country around the world, and see how fast you can say Hard Labor Camp.

    And why shouldn’t the homeless set up a tent city inside the Occupier’s tent city? They don’t own the property and even if they did, it’s obvious that the Occupiers don’t recognize the concept of private property, at least they don’t when it belongs to someone else.

    And why should the Occupiers be allowed to use those resources made available specifically for the poor? The Occupiers aren’t poor, except by choice.

    Anyone with half a brain can see how utterly hypocritical, destructive and useless these people are.

    So I’ll ask again, what is the purpose of Obama’s Occupiers?
