Sheila Jackson Lee: Supporters of Voter ID Laws Say There Has Been Voter Fraud Because “We Elected The First Black President”…
So much for that “post-racial” America Obama promised. The Dems have put race relations back at least a decade with their ad nauseam use of the race card.

. . . Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) added that supporters of these laws have made the “misrepresentation” that there was fraud in the 2008 election, “maybe because we elected the first African American president.”
Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) also drew a connection to these laws and Obama’s election, and said he’s not sure if the laws are being advanced due to “the color of the President” or because Obama “received record-breaking participation by the very same people that they’re making it difficult to vote.”

If I recall correctly, it was the New-New Black Panthers which were stopping people, white people, from voting back in 2008. Just saying.
Looking forward to November 2012, based upon what is coming from the DoJ, the WH, Soros, Van Jones, the UN, DNC, ACORN, SEIU, etc. it would appear that the New-New Black Panthers are not to be outdone, and there are predictions this next election is going to be by far more violent than any other we have historically seen. I wish someone on our side of the aisle would mention that people of all shades, and coloring have to present ID when cashing a check, purchasing fertilizer, and now drain cleaner, as well as when trying to purchase something like a car, or a home. Even the kiddies had to have a photo ID when getting into college, and have a photo school ID on top of their DL. So way before Dear Leader was crowned, Americans of all stripes had to have ID, and way before he was crowned, many Americans wanted voter ID laws on the books, and it was not because of anyone’s skin color, but it was because of illegals who are voting, dead people voting, and the above named entities flat out stealing elections. It was a white man in MN, and a white woman in WA state where voter ID laws were needed because they were elected via VOTER FRAUD. In NM, in 2008, it was once again, non-Blacks who were on the ballot, and once again, voter ID was needed in order to stop Marxist organizers from ACORN from violating voter laws!

Benedict College also ran a voter registration drive for students, where some out of State students voted absentee in their home States and voted in person at the polls in SC.

This really does exist. There are older white people who really were racists who feel extremely guilty about it as they are coming to the end of their lives. I don’t know. Maybe it’s a meet their maker thing. I think they actually believe this will somehow make amends. And these are the very ones the Democrats prey on.
I work at a golf course and my shift leader is guilty of this. He’s an older white guy, in his 70s. He said it was the first time he ever actively campaigned for someone too. He’s admitted he was awful back in his youth. I don’t have this problem. I was a youth in the 70s, young adult in the 80s.
Anyway, so I asked him, “So you have white guilt?” He taken aback, then said, “yeah, I guess I do.” I said, “Well, okay. I don’t have that problem. Besides, I don’t like his white half way more than I don’t like his African side.” He didn’t understand. He asked me why I would say that. So I asked him instead, “Do you believe in the axiom that you can judge a man by the company that he keeps? He said yes. Then I asked him what he knew about Obama’s background and his associates. He had no clue of anything. Didn’t know about his grandfather, Frank Marshall Davis, didn’t even know who Bill Ayers was/is. He knew nothing about him at all. At least that gave me an opportunity to lay a foundation, then I told him he should investigate it. (He’s computer savvy, so he can if he wants to.) I asked him what he liked about Obama. He said he was “well spoken.” Geezum, I literally visibly cringed.
I couldn’t convince him that what he did was just another form of racism, or that he only elected someone based only on the color of their skin. I’m afraid I’ve created some additional mental conflict for him. Only time will tell if he ever comes to terms with his self. I think on the surface though he understands. I asked him if he thought this would change anything he had done. He said no, he knew it wouldn’t, but that it made him feel better for doing it. A guilty conscience is a powerful thing, isn’t it? And con men know how to play that for all its worth.
Remember when the future obamanites were interviewed after the Bush Gore election in Palm Beach County….all you heard was….I voted for the wrong man. 5,330 of these dopes voted for Gore and Pat Buchannon on the same ballot rendering their ballot invalid. You couldn’t make this stuff up if you tried. Unless they are passing out free Air Jordans at every polling station near the” hood” don’t expect a huge turnout. No Sheila you are wrong, the first black President was elected due to voter fraud. We are required numerous times in our daily lives to produce ID (driving,flying liquor tobacco passports etc.) all of this is acceptable but when ID might stop voter fraud The Democrats scream foul. One would think they have something to hide.
