Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) had a strong message Saturday for President Barack Obama, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz: “Get the hell out.”
West made the comments during a speech at a Palm Beach County GOP event in West Palm Beach.
“This is a battlefield that we must stand upon. And we need to let President Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and my dear friend, chairman of the Democrat National Committee, we need to let them know that Florida ain’t on the table,” West said.
The audience was booing by the time West got to Pelosi’s name.
“Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else,” he continued. “You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America.”

Unfortunately I followed this story to Huffpo and after reading some of the comments, I ran amuck. I’ve never seen such drivel in my entire life and I went crazy answering every one of them, and then suddenly I noticed that they were being flagged as having to go to the moderator before being published. I don’t use foul language very often and I didn’t use any there, so I have to wonder if HuffPo refuses to publish comments which run contrary to its ideology.

IMHO people who judge other people for not doing what they want them to are pretty weak.
He’s pretty new to politics, and when I said he is not a political animal, I mean he isn’t driven by the same motives and instincts as a career political animal. I don’t believe he’s trying to climb a ladder, I think he’ s genuinely concerned for our country and wants to serve the nation, he’s willing to serve in the best way he can, but he isn’t willing to start running around just because that’s what everyone else is doing. I’m sure he’s also concerned about not adding to the circus, and he probably believes there are good men, like Gingrich, or maybe Rick, or Rick, that are better ‘prepared’ to do this job at this time.
Doesn’t mean Alan West is shirking his duty, he’s throwing down, this year is going to be a wild ride, just like Newt said.
He’s declared himself openly and clearly, he’s a very conservative guy, and a smart, educated, thoughtful person. Is he going to do what I want him to or what I think he should? Hah!
Get back to letting people have the freedom to do what they believe they should, even if they are wrong, as long as they go about it in a proper manner. We all have to learn.
