Global Warming Officially Dead: UK’s Met Office Releases New Temperature Data Showing Earth Has Not Warmed For Past 15 Years…

(Daily Mail) — The supposed ‘consensus’ on man-made global warming is facing an inconvenient challenge after the release of new temperature data showing the planet has not warmed for the past 15 years.
The figures suggest that we could even be heading for a mini ice age to rival the 70-year temperature drop that saw frost fairs held on the Thames in the 17th Century.
Based on readings from more than 30,000 measuring stations, the data was issued last week without fanfare by the Met Office and the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit. It confirms that the rising trend in world temperatures ended in 1997.
Meanwhile, leading climate scientists yesterday told The Mail on Sunday that, after emitting unusually high levels of energy throughout the 20th Century, the sun is now heading towards a ‘grand minimum’ in its output, threatening cold summers, bitter winters and a shortening of the season available for growing food.
Solar output goes through 11-year cycles, with high numbers of sunspots seen at their peak.
We are now at what should be the peak of what scientists call ‘Cycle 24’ – which is why last week’s solar storm resulted in sightings of the aurora borealis further south than usual. But sunspot numbers are running at less than half those seen during cycle peaks in the 20th Century.
Analysis by experts at NASA and the University of Arizona – derived from magnetic-field measurements 120,000 miles beneath the sun’s surface – suggest that Cycle 25, whose peak is due in 2022, will be a great deal weaker still.
According to a paper issued last week by the Met Office, there is a 92 per cent chance that both Cycle 25 and those taking place in the following decades will be as weak as, or weaker than, the ‘Dalton minimum’ of 1790 to 1830. In this period, named after the meteorologist John Dalton, average temperatures in parts of Europe fell by 2C.
However, it is also possible that the new solar energy slump could be as deep as the ‘Maunder minimum’ (after astronomer Edward Maunder), between 1645 and 1715 in the coldest part of the ‘Little Ice Age’ when, as well as the Thames frost fairs, the canals of Holland froze solid.

I’m in an agriculture based business. (actually, if you eat lunch at work, so are you). The weather the last 4 years has people who have been in the business stating they’ve never seen weather like this in their careers. Cold weather shortens growing seasons, causing pressure on crops and reduces availability. I’ve always been convinced the world could handle getting warmer than it could getting colder. It gets warm, growing regions expand. Sure, the oceans might rise but you either move away or make some other physical change. But if you can’t grow food, well then, you are just screwed.

‘Environmentalism’ seems to echo that to me. I mean, no one in their right mind wants to waste resources and pollute the environment.. but it’s so much more than that.

I’m not talking about the entire psychosis of ‘environmentalism’, that does fit into your explanation very well, I’m singling out ‘climate change’.

I went through the Canadian weather station data, every hourly reading for every station since 1953 is on-line and I found the most peculiar oddity.
Almost every station is at an airport. From the first days of flying accurate weather information was essential, there was w world-wide explosion of weather stations.. The first airports were in the country, outside city limits but airports have had a more explosive growth than even the cities, most airports and their weather stations are in the middle of an urban heat sink where there is a far higher concentration of Co2.
Less than 5% of the earth’s surface is urban, most is water, plains and mountains. When they put those 30,000 weather stations where 95% of the world’s weather happens I will believe whatever they record.
this continues to show the folly of the government parasites no it alls who really know very little. arrogant greedy bastards who would spend the peoples last dime trying to prove themselves correct.

Likewise I agree. That tends to be the center of it. If the not the WHOLE of it ALL. Here is why I think so. Consider that the educational system from top to bottom has been saturated with the Humanism Perspective. The Humanism replaces all things of a Creator (as Katherine, likewise, makes mention) to that of Humans being the Center of it all.
Therefore, if mankind is that center; then you have a perfect set-up for “creating” a world as close in identity to the “real McCoy”. Just as THE Adversary has set out to accomplish from the very beginning. Is to imitate everything God put into motion. To try to “out do” God. Mankind will make all food better. Mankind will make all humanity genetically engineered to be smarter, stronger, enhanced immunity, etc. The same with everything else. The world will belong to THEM. In their “image”. All accomplished through, what sounds to be a proper mode, the Greening. It has the paw prints of the Adversary all through it.
Science, and all those disciplines related, has been an incredible “tool” handed to humans. However, there is those in these fields of discipline who refuse to work with in the framework of first being humbled before their Creator. Instead, they have determined they will be the refiner of all things. Much along the lines of what Danl had pointed out @ 9:38………….
We can appreciate the many advances that medicine, science, etc has come up with in many respects. Yet, we do see a sinister side to it all. I am all for things remaining in a more ‘natural state’ if you will, than all re-engineered. For example, I would rather eat a non-GMO hamburger than one derived from a GMO beef that has SO OVERLY much meat mass that the animal can not walk. Likewise, I would rather eat a wild turkey sandwich, than meat from a mass produced turkey feed GMO cornmeal (or whatever) to hurriedly bulk-it-up to the point that it can neither walk or ever fly. Plus, it’s stuck in some sardine like environment til death. I don’t like any of that. Then there is the chemical companies. Sure, there is a need for some just as there is antibiotics & such. However, the cumulative effect gets to be endocrine disrupter’s for who knows what all that has hormones. Or the scientists that “invented” cats that glow for the sake of coming up with AIDS treatments. I tell you, this does not bode so swell. And the list goes on.

I agree. I take great glee reading of scientists “discoveries.” They are bringing order from the chaos all around us. When you believe (a philosophical position taken in the absence of fact or contrary to fact) as I do that “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” and therefore all that the scientists are investigating and analyzing. The scientists are doing the work He put us here in the first place,namely to bring Gods perfect order to His people.
