(The Hill) — The White House won’t be rushing to make a decision on Iran’s nuclear program, White House press secretary Jay Carney said Monday.
While Carney would not respond directly to questions about whether President Obama would have to decide within a year whether to use military force against Iran to stop it from obtaining nuclear weapons, he did say Obama’s policy is “clear.” [...]
Asked whether Panetta’s view puts a timetable on Obama, Carney said: “It doesn’t change our strategy, which is to continue to put pressure, continue to isolate, continue to make clear to Iran what its options are.”
Obama has said the United States wants to resolve the nuclear issue with Iran diplomatically. The United States and European Union have both imposed economic sanctions against Iran’s oil exports, prompting Iran to threaten to close the Strait of Hormuz, a vital oil passageway in the Persian Gulf.

The nuclear threat to Israel is an empty one – Iran knows Israel has at least 200 nukes and would obliterate them from the face of the earth. Iran is playing a game with the world using nukes and oil as threats to attain their goals – it’s very effective since it uses no actual resources and can be repeated again and again. The real (but ignored) threats are the strong possibilities of Iran selling nuclear secrets and technology to terrorist groups, and creating puppet states in the Caucasus as a prelude to establishing the Caliphate. The only thing holding them back now is the upcoming U.S. election. If bs wins, the entire world is going to pay the price.

I don’t like Obama, but wouildn’t it be a fool thing for him to say, “I’ve made up my mind, we start bombing on February first.” The correct way to do this is say, “I am happy to announce the successful complrtion of missions against Iraq’s nuclear weapons program.”
Let’s just assume for a minute that we had a real President in the White House instead of the imposter obama. Then it’s a stupid question from the MSM to ask “How we will deal with Iran”. The US reaction should be completely top secret and one morning we’d wake up and hear that the Iranian nuke facilities had been turned to glass.
