Pelosi: Planned Parenthood Relationship With Girl Scouts “Very Valuable”…
The evil hag strikes again.
(CNS News) — House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Planned Parenthood’s relationship with the Girl Scouts of America is “very valuable,” Wednesday, at a congressional reception to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the organization for young girls.
Rep. Pelosi was featured at the reception with a group of female government leaders to promote the Girl Scout’s new initiative “To Get Her There,” which seeks to create “gender balanced leadership” in one generation.
After the event CNSNews.com asked Pelosi: “The Girl Scouts has had some ties to Planned Parenthood, do you think that’s a valuable relationship to have working together?”
“The Girl Scouts have relationships with many organizations,” Rep. Pelosi replied.
“And, yes, I think they are all very valuable.”
The Girl Scouts have been linked to the nation’s largest abortion provider in the past. In 2010, a panel sponsored by the Girl Scouts USA at the United Nations Commission featured a Planned Parenthood pamphlet called “Healthy, Happy and Hot,” according to published reports.

The abortion issue got personal for me in 2010, when my grand daughter @3 months in the womb was diagnosed with gastroschieses, the most common of human birth defects (1 in 5,000). The umbillical cord does not close the stomach wall, and the organs develope in the amniotic fluid, outside the body. Before ultra sound, these babies were pronounced stillborn – disemboweled at birth.
Everyone encouraged my daughter to have an abortion. I hung back – my daughter and her husband decided to give birth. Yes, she was born C-section, and had costly care and two surgeries afterward.
She’s ninteen months old now, with bright blue eyes and a head of curly yellow hair, and she just learned to say “octopus”, and can count to five on her little perfect pink fingers.

We just took our daughter of Girl Scouts. Our daughter was chosen to be part of a dance number at the 100th anniversary here in Houston. Between the total lack of organization, the fact that the organizers did not want the parents attending rehearsals, and not enough chaparones at the huge stadium hosting the event, we decided our daughter would not participate. A week ago we enrolled her in American Heritage Girls.
Reminds me of the poster that came out in the early Seventies of a photo of a very pregnant girl with a GSA uniform on, and the caption read, “Be Prepared”. My mother went ballistic on the store that had them displayed for sale. I was only like 12 at the time, so i didn’t get it. I was a Boy Scout, and though it was funny.

Really fun!!!!! I just don’t recall the project and badge for getting pregnant and having an abortion.
