Pelosi Calls Komen Reversal on Planned Parenthood Funding a “Big Victory”…

(The Hill) — House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said the Susan G. Komen foundation’s retreat from its decision to eliminate funding for Planned Parenthood is a victory for women’s health.
The California Democrat predicted the foundation would continue to get support from her party but suggested the public — and women in particular — might not be so quick to forgive and forget.
“We certainly will be able to support them as we have in the past,” Pelosi told reporters in the Capitol. But the extent of the public backlash, she added, is “a question of what other people in the country think about it.”
“It was an unfortunate situation but it was dealt with in a short period of time, [and] I commend the Susan G. Komen foundation for seeing the light on this,” Pelosi added. “[It] just goes to show you, when women speak out, women win. Women’s health has a big victory this morning.”

Seems like it was a non-political decision to defund PP, so as to actually put the money towards PAYING for mammograms for people who cant afford it, such as myself, instead of wasting it on PP who pay for nothing but abortions and birth control. But the Libs made it political and that is more important to them than actually having women get low-cost or affordable mammograms. I remember living in Atlanta and finding out Komen was giving to PP over seven years ago. Thought it was weird in light of some studies that indicate women who’ve had abortions are at an increased risk of breast cancer. So I never supported them or bought any of the pink crap that I see in stores. What’s really sad about this is the bullies on the left won based on the total mishandling of this story by Komen people. I think trained seals could have done a better job. They never pulled their funding because of abortions. They pulled funding because PP wasn’t providing mammograms to poor women and PP, with some affiliates, is under investigation for some hinky deeds. Komen allowed the liberal left to drive the narrative that it was evil right wingers who made them do this when nothing is further from the truth.
Now they’ve reversed course with some additional blather about charges and investigations and waiting until… yeah right. What a bunch of boobs the shirts at Komen must be to foul up this bad. So, I’ll be back to knitting chemo caps and supporting those I know who’ve dealt with this disease in my own way. And I pray G-d no body from Komen approaches me about supporting any fun runs or buying pink crap. They can all KMA.
It amazes me that such people are so ignorant of the fact that each of us must give an account of our actions and deeds before a Mighty God, the realization really is absolutely terrifying. What is the length of this life compared to eternity, as Jesus said, “what gains a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul” because fools like her actually think they are gaining something.

Here’s a thought, if you don’t have any, the Death Penalty is necessary in a justice system. Its not justice to house/feed someone for 50 years after they took a human life. We do not love it, we must have it to protect citizens from the many predators the Dems let go on a technical issues. Its not a “random” selection process, you deserve it if you got it.

First time was granting them money in the first place. Second, announcing the withholding of the funds with an incoherent message, Third, reversing that decision.
