Pics Of The Day: McPherson Square Before And After Occupy DC…
McPherson Square on the day Occupy DC arrived (note the brand new stimulus-funded grass):

McPherson Square after they were kicked out:

Comments & pings are closed. With the partial eviction of Occupiers over the weekend, McPherson Square is no longer full to the point that the local community cannot enjoy it. Instead, it is a mud-bowl that no one can really enjoy. Occupiers managed to undo most of a $400,000 park renovation that was completed last year with stimulus funding.

Just let the mud hole sit. Fix it up and they will came back !!
No more grass. Wow! They can smoke anything!
The progressive movement in a nutshell. Garbage in, Garbage out.
Take the $400,000 out of 0bama’s paycheck…
Talk about taking a nice thing and F ing it up. That is all I have seen this group do.
Now if they get the absolute power that they want. They do not even know how bad things will be for them. This country would collapse over night.
This group could F up the Sahara Desert. It would run out of sand.
Did they eat the park benches?
sounds like a cloward-piven set up doesn’t it?
400,000 to fix. overnite to destroy.
cripes i can’t look at anything –any form of grabbermint without considering the underbelly of the motive.
Make those occupy jerks pay for this and do the labor themselves
sue them while they still have money
Next thime they can post a bond for the damages they will cause
Mother Gaia should angrily swallow them whole – provided that OWS didn’t kill her.
If you can’t see the difference then you need glasses!!!
Another Barry shovel ready job.
Is that dirt or doodoo?
Mic Check.
Mic Check.
This destruction was the work of a few outliers who do not represent or speak for the OWS movement.

All good things that may someday happen and can be remotely connected to OWS cause will be attributable to the OWS movement.

All bad things that are plainly visible and directly attributable to people acting under the OWS banner are unofficial, unsanctioned and unmentionable by people who think the right way.

That is all for now.
That is all for now.
Back to the drum circle and the killer hashish.
Back to the drum circle and the killer hashish.
At least they left a thick layer of fertilizer to help the replacement grass grow.
@GRIZZ
I never knew there was a difference between dirt and doodoo.
I agree with @jack. Just leave it as is to remind all citizens of what this group did to their city.
Cleaner than Barry’s coronation.
Zip – show those pictures of the after effects of Barry’s coronation. And then show the pictures of a tea party rally when it was finished.
That used to be a nice park. This used to be a great country.
Every mayor that allowed these people to do this should be impeached & heavily fined.
There was no fees that were required from the Tea Party…why?
Where are the perturbed environmentalists?
It’s hard to really capture the magnitude and the extent of the devastation when the photographs weren’t taken from the same angle.
The angle is obviously different. Trees are not present in the second photo, nor is the walkway with the benches to the statue. There are two sidewalks on either side of the statue in the second photo, and only one that is centered on the statue in the first. From a glance yes this is bad, but if you are going to compare, do it the right way. Compare apples to apples.
