Occupy Albany Holding “Weather Underground Meets Occupy Wall Street” Event…

In support of Weather Underground “political prisoner” and convicted cop killer David Gilbert.

Via Big Government:

Occupy Albany has announced an event in March called, The Weather Underground Meets Occupy Wall Street.  The event will be held March 3rd, and is co-sponsored by The Sanctuary For Independent Media and the Albany Social Justice Center.  It is described as, “A book event and multi-generational dialog to celebrate U.S. political prisoner David Gilbert’s new memoir, “Love and Struggle.”

Gilbert is currently serving time in the Auburn Correctional Facility and is described as “an American radical leftist organizer and activist.”  He was imprisoned for his role in the Brinks Robbery of 1981, a botched effort that led to the murder of four people, including a security guard and two police officers.

Just from the photo Zip provided…

An upsidedown American flag and a flag of ChumpChe. That alone puts these characters in a category that is off the charts of anyone with any merits. They are leeches on society and should be treated as such. Purge is a good word.

Why hasn’t this dried up communist wannabee been scheduled for a meeting with ol’ sparky? I can’t stand limousine commies and “progressives” but I have a burning rage for terrorists. As calous as it sounds, I know some people worry about another “Kent State”but these fuckers deserve it.

Yeah, kill everyone who disagrees with me! grrr!
So much for that pesky first amendment but hey, we’ve already gotten rid of the 2nd, 4th, 9th and 10th among others.

I mean, I disagree with about 90% of OWS and the dum-dums who participate in it, but to wish death on those with whom you disagree…not very Christian, is it?

Obama may be a totalitarian twat, but you people would love him if he had a little R next to his name, because Bush was no different than the current asshole in the WH.

…twice is an absolutely sickening thought.

I hope the Republicans make OWS Obama’s running mate for the election. I’d like to see a montage of Democrats talking about their support for the movement mixed with OWS folks burning flags, crapping on police cars, destroying property, and generally being themselves. “These are President Obama’s values.”

    @sp:

“Obama may be a totalitarian twat, but you people would love him if he had a little R next to his name, because Bush was no different than the current asshole in the WH.”

    Bzzzzt. Wrong.

We actually saw the transcripts of Bush’s college days so we know he graduated from two Ivy League schools. Soetero, not so much. Shoot- we don’t even know what name Earflaps used when going to school.

Also- Bush did not arrange for the detainment of US Citizens indefinitely without charge. Soetero did.

Bush can actually throw a baseball, not spastically hurl it like a 6 year old girl as soetero does.

Bush is married to a woman from the human race. Soetero… who the hell knows what that thing is?

When endeavoring to take the US to war, Bush got the consent of the Senate as is sort of expected in the constitution. Soetero- nope, not yet.. and he’s getting ready to do it again.

Under Bush, there were let’s see…yes, that’s right…there were budgets for EVERY SINGLE YEAR of his presidency. Under President McDowngrade, haven’t seen a budget yet. But we do have 6 trillion bucks in iou’s, so there’s that.

When Bush inherited a recession, and then suffered 9/11 due to clinton incompetence (gotta love those top secret documents being stolen by berger), he cut taxes and got the economy going again. Soetero- he inherited a recession based on budgets and legislation he voted for in the senate, then promptly drove “the car” into a ditch, poured sand in the gas tank, set it alight, and finally climbed out of the ditch and lobbed a couple hand grenades down on the car.

Oh, and shifted it to “D”.

Soetero does beat Bush on one thing though- he’s gone golfing at least twice as much in less than half the time. So he’s a much better slackass.

    Carry on.

Isn’t it fascinating how “treason” is out of fashion now, while our constitutional foundations are under persistently open and hostile assault? Bet dollars to donuts, should these anarchists succeed , ‘treason’ against ‘the people’ will suddenly, uniformly be back in fashion.

    May I also add:

    — that gas prices were 50% lower
    — Bush didn’t sue umpteen states
    — Bush didn’t flat out disobey judges orders
    — Bush didn’t place drilling moretoriums everywhere
    — My grocery bill was 30-40% lower too!

  24. Rob says:

    a political prisoner..?

    more like a convicted murderer…

In the late 1970s or early 1980s David Gilbert and other white activists took the name RATF (Revolutionary Armed Task Force), declaring their solidarity with the Black Liberation Army (BLA).

On October 20, 1981, the RATF participated along with several members of the BLA in an attempt to rob a Brinks armored car at the Nanuet Mall, near Nyack, New York.

While David Gilbert and Kathy Boudin waited in a U-Haul truck in a nearby parking lot, armed BLA members took another vehicle to the mall, where a Brinks truck was making a delivery. They confronted the guards and a shoot out ensued, wounding guard Joe Trombino after he let off one shot (wounds he survived, although he died decades later on September 11th) and killing his co-worker, Peter Paige.

The robbers then took $1.6 million in cash and sped off to transfer into the waiting U-Haul. The truck was soon stopped by a police roadblock.

David Gilbert and girlfriend Kathy Boudin surrendered but when the officers tried to search the back of the vehicle BLA members emerged shooting. Two police officers, Waverly L. Brown and Edward J. O’Grady, died in the shootout.

David Gilbert fled the scene with other RATF and BLA members but was caught by police that day. He was tried, and sentenced in 1983 to 75 years for three counts of felony murder.

  26. Rob says:

    The Weather Underground…

In 1969 SDS split into different ideological factions and Weatherman emerged, its purpose being to build up armed struggle amidst young white Americans in support of the Black Panthers and other militant groups and also oppose the war in Vietnam via activities intended to “Bring the War Home”.

David Gilbert joined this group in 1969 with his friend, Ted Gold, who later died in the March 1970 Greenwich Village townhouse explosion, along with fellow Weather members, Diana Oughton and Terry Robbins.

And poor Billy Ayers lost his beloved Oughton in that explosion… too bad…

The group became a clandestine operation, and the organization was renamed the Weather Underground.

When Weather went underground, members often used money they already had or received from their family to fund their efforts.

David Gilbert cashed in his Israel bonds and half of that money went to supporting Weather and the other half was put into the Black Panther bail fund.

The Brinks robbery was necessary because the little commies needed money..

You know if the Underground is involved here…

    than so is Billy Ayers…

Barack Obama’s neighbor, supporter, and fund raiser

Yeah, all these terrorists are now “activists.” They are trying to get Judith Clarke, also convicted in the Brinks robbery and murders, a pardon. If you look at her wiki entry, she has all these college degrees. How nice. I thought prison was suppose to be punishment. She is also a chaplain assistant. I don’t believe for a second that she has had a change of heart. The chaplain schtick looks good and gives her additional privileges and movement in the prison.

They murdered 3 people. Don’t ever forget it.

how sweet a che flag, now that should piss me off and it does.

But not as much as the police not enforcing the law does.

These Occupiers are not the problem, the problem is with our elected officials
and police selectively enforcing the law, they are usurping the power of congress and the senate, they are not law makers and unmakers, their job
is to enforce the law, and they aren’t doing it.

Thank you Grass Mud Horsey for responding to well to SP. Putting GWB and Obama in the same breath is appalling, in my opinion. GWB made mistakes, name one president who hasn’t, but GWB is a good man, a decent man, a man who loves his country, loves the military (and they love him), is married to a first class lady, doesn’t demean our country, doesn’t turn his back on our allies, and on and on. And he’s not a marxist.

Well done, Grass Mud Horsey. Well done.

    Well said Grass Mud Horsey.

I don’t understand how or why the Occupy group think they are accomplishing anything.

They regurgitate failed ideas, communist propaganda and antisemitism .It didn’t work in 1917,1935,1950,1970…….What did the Wethermen accomplish except murdering hard working citizens ?

Are a bunch of unemployed ,drug addled, spoiled children really so stupid to believe: assaulting the police (who protect them) waving signs, throwing rocks ,crapping all over and living with rats-will change the government ?

These jokers are nothing more than political food for the bloated sociopathic socialist administration already in power.
