Senate Dems Use Obama’s Contraceptive Mandate As Fundraising Pitch…
Because what’s a better excuse to squeeze donors for money than forcing Catholic institutions to violate their beliefs?
(CNSNews.com) — The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) — the campaign arm of the Senate Democratic Caucus — is using the controversy over the Obama administration’s contraceptive mandate to raise campaign funds.
The email, sent to potential Democratic donors, touts the Obama administration’s decision to require insurance providers to provide contraceptive and sterilization services free of charge.
The email, signed by DSCC Chair Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.), calls opposition to the Obamacare mandate an “attack” on women’s health.
“Our right-wing opponents continue to launch attack after attack against women’s rights, women’s health, and women’s economic security — and we’ve got to fight back every single day,” the email says.
“The next battle over the Obama administration’s decision to make contraception more affordable under the new health care law is already underway.”
The DSCC says it has created a new grassroots effort, called the Standing Strong for Women Project — “to combat the Republican war on women.”

One of the most fervent promises President Obama made to the American people before passage of the health overhaul law was…
“If you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. Period. No one will take it away. No matter what.”
But, even before the law fully takes effect, millions of people are losing “the coverage they have now,” and tens of millions more surely will follow.
Send money, all they know how to do is spend, spend.

Throughout the Obamacare debate, President Obama repeatedly promised,
“If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan.”
Now, Gallup reports that from the first quarter of 2010 (when Obama signed Obamacare into law) to the third quarter of this year, 2 percent of American adults lost their employer sponsored health insurance.
In other words, about 4.5 million Americans lost their employer-sponsored insurance over a span of just 18 months.
This is not what the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) had predicted would happen. Rather, the CBO had predicted that Obamacare would increase the number of people with employer-sponsored insurance by now.
It had predicted that, under Obamacare, 6 million more Americans would have employer-sponsored insurance in 2011 than in 2010 (see table 4, which shows the CBO’s projected increase of 3 million under (pre-Obamacare) current law and an additional 3 million under Obamacare).
So the CBO’s rosy projections for Obamacare (and even these paint a frightening picture) are already proving false.
You bitter clingers need to sit down, shut up, and do what the president says.

Apparently the left has no more legitimate issues to wage war on. “War on women” is a church selecting health insurance options they are subsidizing (which their employers do not have to take) that leave out $20 over-the-counter items (which the woman can pay for since she’s obviously got a job in this case)?
That’s war? Seriously???
There’s a pretty damn good chance the woman working at Catholic Charities or as a priest in a church may actually be… (wait for it)… Catholic! That’d also mean there’s a good chance she probably agrees. You know, that obnoxious freedom of association thing again. And if she didn’t, I’d bet she could go get another job. You know what Barack said the other day about there being so many available jobs that that lady’s unemployed engineer husband must have not been trying to get a job.
So the fact she can not take the subsidized healthcare, she can pay the $20 on her own (rather than paying it out of her health insurance policy expense deducted from her paycheck whether or not she actually needs to use it), that she can leave and get another job that subsidizes it, she is being waged war on?
What an utter, disgusting, vile human beings these progressive parasites are.
