Obama’s Deficit Spending Over Four Years: $5.17 Trillion, $70k Per Family, $17k Per Person…

President Obama’s fourth budget has now been released, which allows for a relatively full accounting of deficit spending during his four years in office. The picture isn’t pretty, but it is revealing.
According to the White House’s own figures (see table S-1 here for 2011 to 2013, and table S-1 here for 2010), the actual or projected deficit tallies for the four years in which Obama has submitted budgets are as follows: $1.293 trillion in 2010, $1.300 trillion in 2011, $1.327 trillion in 2012, and $901 billion in 2013. In addition, Obama is responsible for the estimated $200 billion (the Congressional Budget Office’s figure) that his economic “stimulus” added to the deficit in 2009. Moreover, he shouldn’t get credit for the $149 billion in TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Program) repayments made in 2010 and 2011 to cover most of the $154 billion in bank loans that remained unpaid at the end of the 2009 fiscal year — loans that count against President Bush’s 2009 deficit tally.
Adding all of this up, deficit spending during Obama’s four years in the White House (based on his own figures) will be an estimated $5.170 trillion — or $5,170,000,000,000.00.
To help put that colossal sum of money into perspective, if you take our deficit spending under Obama and divide it evenly among the roughly 300 million American citizens, that works out to just over $17,000 per person — or about $70,000 for a family of four.

I’m tired writing a about this incompetent president. This guy can’t budget or lower a deficit. Because all he knows how to do is spend. He has a poor mans mentality, holding the highest office of the land. Then again what would you expect from a thought process from a person like that. They don’t have financial intelligence, don’t invest, don’t save and don’t know how to budget. All they do is know how to dissipate spend, if not their own, other peoples money. The sad thing is most of the unemployed and uninformed dems are still going to vote this conman in again. Blacks will vote out of spite, Mexicans because with his amnesty laws and whites with the manipulation lowered of the unemployment rate. I may seem judge mental. But truth is I do diligence research and interviewing on what I’m predicting. I ask all three of these ethnic groups regarding their thought on some of the issues concerning this country. I asked concerning deficit, amnesty, religious freedom ( first amendment laws) and why they even voted for obama..and I tell you, 80% wasn’t informed or didn’t have a clue,or understand what i was saying or couldn’t give me an intelligent answer to any one of the questions asked. But, they all said they will vote for obama again..why/ for the reasons i explained above. So, GET READY FOR A 4 MORE YEARS OF CATASTROPHIC!!!

Bad enough when alcoholism, drug addiction, spousal cheating and/or gambling busts up a family. It’s a major creep-out when both parents do so by clear self-serving choice without any mitigating alcohol/drug/cheating/gambling circumstances whatsoever.
That 40-some years later Obama Jr. was able to put such a positive spin on his creep-out parents with Dreams of my Father was a real national warning that Jr. and his lefty backers were going to end up as bad news.
Not saying that Obama Jr. should be condemned for having a couple of major self-serving screw-ups for parents. I’m saying that he shouldn’t have been so APPLAUDED for it. That it was so applauded speaks to the utter hatred the left has for Christian values, foremost of which is a strong, loving, stick-together family.
So Obama is their champion for a societal system where families can dissolve on a whim and the federal government supports such financially.

Wouldn’t a more realistic equation be based on the 48.5% that actually support the rest?

From 2008-2012 we gained 9.5 million in population. But the workforce shrank by nearly 5 million.
Now how many “1%” will evolve into existance to tax and support the population growth and welfare ?
