CNN Poll: Americans Oppose Obama’s Contraception Mandate By 50% To 44% Margin…

Hasn’t the MSM been telling us Obama’s mandate was hugely popular?

Washington (CNN) – Half of all Americans say they oppose the Obama administration’s new policy concerning employer-provided health insurance plans and their coverage of contraceptive services for female employees including those at religiously affiliated institutions, according to a new national survey.

The push by the White House has been sharply criticized by Catholic Church officials, and many political pundits have said that the controversy could hurt President Barack Obama’s re-election chances with Catholic voters. But a CNN/ORC International poll released Thursday also indicates that the vast majority of Catholic Americans say they don’t always follow church teachings on such issues as abortion and birth control, and few Americans Catholics believe artificial means of birth control are wrong.

According to the survey, 50% of the public disapproves of the Obama administration policy, with 44% saying they approve of the plan.

Are the 44% that support this “mandate” the same group of people who don’t pay any federal income tax ?

According to MY survey, CNN is a lying sack of shit.

Do you think Catholics should always obey official Church teachings on such moral issues as birth control and abortion[snip]?

WTF? Are we going to VOTE on whether Catholics should adhere to the Church? What friggin’ right does CNN have to question any non-Catholic about the Catholic Church, and what bearing does non-Catholic opinion have on this issue?

They’re trying to splinter the Church, for bs.

This “poll” by CNN is as phony as any other information they give us.
They are part of Barry’s Ministry of Propoganda.

These days, you can’t believe anything you’re told, especially by the Media.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz says all women should get free contraception… I like the idea of free whiskey and ice cream myself, but I know it is probably better that I pay for it.

That 50%-44% margin by CNN sounds remarkably like the poll they did on odumbos approval rating.
No wonder CNN are losing viewers.

Wait a minute, what happened to the “98% of catholic women use contraception number” that pelousy and the other demoncraps are spouting?

    Could it be pure bullshit?

I smell something. Did I just step in something in the corral?

I still don’t understand why Obama doesn’t force the drug and birth control products companies to just provide their products for free. Why make the insurance companies cover the costs? Why not the companies that produce them?

Propaganda ministers are making us focus on the wrong issues again. Who really has trouble getting contraceptives? Really.

If you oppose this; your against Women’s health. How assinine.

I got snipped (twice actually) many years ago, so do we get to pick a different class of drugs from Barry’s bag of pills?

I don’t oppose contraception, but I don’t want to have to pay for someone elses choices of sexual activity either.

Like Tom Sullivan said today on his radio show. “Going without sex is not life threatening.”

    @Xaviar

You are right, this is a delibearte evil plan by Obama to split the Catholic vote against each other. Obama gambled that Catholic women will side with him and not the Catholic Church on his fake narative of Catholics against womens health. However, in order to do this Obama has to control the message “Catholics against womens health”. It looks like it has backfired and I can bet this mandate will be dumped out of desperation by the Obama team of numnut advisers. The more this story stays on the burner the worst it is for Obama, therfore Obama wants to control the media and the message using the bunch of bi’s at Media Matters.

Come on, you guys. You know that a woman getting pregnant is a health issue just like if that woman caught the flu or got cancer. That fetus growing inside a woman is just like a cancerous tumor. In Obama’s eyes, anyway.

If Obama thinks that all Catholic ladies are going to side with him, he’s more stupid than I thought! As I talk with the ladies after Mass about this mandate, most of them are pretty ticked off at the Government. Divide the Catholics? Maybe in other areas, but in our little area of flyover country,no! We will stand together to tell Obama where to stick his Unconstitutional Mandate.

I wonder why CNN spends so much time dwelling on crap like this? Just like the irrelevant crap they keep bringing up in debates. Anything to keep us from talking about the economy, ObamaCare, the deficit, congressional spending, regulatory overreach, border enforcement — or Obama himself.

The real question we should be discussing is whether we’re better off now than we were before Obama mucked everything up.

    Everything else is crap.

I’m really sorry if this offends anyone, but why should I be forced to pay for something that’s a personal choice? I mean, I must pay higher insurance premiums so women who can’t keep their legs closed get free birth control?

    What country is this again?
