New CBO Report: Real Unemployment Rate Hits 15%

Moreover, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projects that the unemployment rate will remain above 8 percent until 2014.
The official unemployment rate excludes those individuals who would like to work but have not searched for a job in the past four weeks as well as those who are working part-time but would prefer full-time work; if those people were counted among the unemployed, the unemployment rate in January 2012 would have been about 15 percent. Compounding the problem of high unemployment, the share of unemployed people looking for work for more than six months—referred to as the long-term unemployed—topped 40 percent in December 2009 for the first time since 1948, when such data began to be collected; it has remained above that level ever since.”

the mid teens is what I have been saying for a while now…
and the U-6… is over 20%
Hey, I wonder if the teleprompter will pick up that newsy tidbit.
LMAO!!!
Stomp this in the SCOAMFs face from now until November
The question to ask this election is one we’ve heard before:
Are you better off than you were four years ago?
Don’t laugh. It’s a serious question. Really.
The economy is waiting for Obama to take a hike.
“Are you better off than you were four years ago?”
Or for that matter, $4 trillion ago?

Obama’s poll surge came from the jobs number. This won’t hurt that because no one in the lamestream will repeat it.
Hope and Change in 2008 turn out to be no hope and only change for the worse !
I’m one of the under employed – sharing a job so that both families make it, until this is “over”. It hurts, and it’s getting worse with gas and food prices. Having beans and rice once a week has become the main fare – it’s bullshit, and this president is doing it on purpose. I don’t have little ones at home, how families with little kids are making it, I do not know. Milk is five bucks a gallon here.
Obama sucks.
If the CBO says 15% and the Ministry of Propoganda says 8.3%, the Media will only report the 8.3%, but the WHOLE country knows that the 15% is more realistic.
It’s a scam, just like his recent rise in the polls… all fabrications.
Americans know what the real unemployment number really is, however the liberals etc. don’t care how high it is, and will try to make it appear much smaller. I for one believe it is higher than 15%. The quality of jobs that replaced the older ones are also lower.
How did the CBO escape obamanization? Apparently they can still speak freely. Eric the Red will be on the case shortly.
Hoax and Blame…No More Years!
The real question is, are you better off now than you were when Democrats took over the purse strings in 2008?
Sorry, that would be 2007 when the neo-commies took over.
Funny thing… things are looking up here. Lots of hiring, tourists are returning. You need reservations for T-times at all the local courses.
If anyone puts one ounce of credibility in any of the lizard polls it’s one big ass dumb mistake . Maybe they should poll the right people , like the patriot militias growing throughout America . Had a conversation with a Sargent home on leave from Afghanistan today . He said the majority of troops hate obama and they are getting first hand information on how obama and his administration are starting to put the screws to their combat pay . He also said they were worried about their votes being counted in Nov . .

You don’t say- where’s that, Dave?
About to get a higher unemployment numbers: 99 weeks went down to what 62?
All those loosing this benefit are about to get screwed and they will likely vote dumb nut back into office to that he will hopefully change it back to 99 weeks or longer for more government hand outs.
