Military personnel stationed in Afghanistan will undergo training over the next two weeks in the “proper handling of religious materials,” after the burning of Qurans at Bagram Air Force Base sparked a protest by local Afghans today.
“Marine Corps Gen. John R. Allen, ISAF commander, today ordered that all coalition forces in Afghanistan complete the training by March 3,” the International Security Assistance Force announced today. An angry crowd gathered after local Afghan workers found partially-burnt copies of Qurans in a trash heap at Bagram, according to Reuters.

1] Firmly but gently grab an outer corner of the page and pull down and out, removing the page.
2] Return the unused book under your boots, and take the page removed and crumple it loosely so that it’s a wad of paper – but not a tight wad.
3] Take the wad of paper and reach back and wipe, making sure to dig down and getting all the little piece of corn.
4] Take the time to remove other piece and apply them as needed. This is also a good time to remove an extra sheet of this low quality paper. It makes an excellent polishing rag for the toilet seat or for your boots.
5] When you’re through, be sure wash your hands well – this paper is really infectious for some people, and you don’t want it to affect you.
Personally, I always use a slice of bacon as a bookmark for my copy of that piece of garbage.

The best way to properly handle the koran goes as follows.
1) Keep several copies warm and dry beside the toilet.
2) Tear each page carefully so as to keep as much per sq inch for adequate wiping purposes.
3) Always, always be sure to flush your used koran pages properly so they can fulfill there destiny. All drains lead to the ocean and these soiled pages need to end up next to Osama.
