I’m right there with you. I attended so many of my kids’ sporting events, and every one started with the National Anthem. I would grit my teeth as hard as I could to NOT tear up in front of everyone.
My mom lived though the horrors of Nazi Germany as a young girl and my father fought Rommel in Africa. I’m a first generation American, and my family knows the preciousness of freedom. God bless America.
