Canadian Man Arrested Over Four-Year-Old Daughter’s Gun Drawing…
What the?
(SNN) — Police arrested a Kitchener, Ont., father outside his daughter’s school because the four-year-old drew a picture of him holding a gun.
Jessie Sansone told the Record newspaper that he was in shock when he was arrested Wednesday and taken to a police station for questioning over the drawing. He was also strip-searched.
“This is completely insane. My daughter drew a gun on a piece of paper at school,” he said.
Officials told the newspaper the move was necessary to ensure there were no guns accessible by children in the family’s home. They also said comments by Sansone’s daughter, Neaveh, that the man holding the gun in the picture was her dad and “he uses it to shoot bad guys and monsters,” was concerning.

Last year a kid’s family was investigated because he drew a picture of his dad holding a rifle. His dad was a soldier.

Yah, you can let them watch all the violent Hollywood products, tv, videos, music videos, movies, video games, but for Heaven’s sake, draw the line somewhere ok, DON’T let them see you with a gun, much less draw a picture of you with one. That poor child, damaged for life.

I was given custody of a girl who’s parents are in prison, she has learning disabilities so she was offered extra help at school, the woman who oversaw that extra help sent me a note telling me that the girl had “mentioned” a gun in our home and knew where it was.
I called the woman and asked why she asked the girl about it, she said she didn’t the girl mentioned it, I said no, the girl didn’t, she couldn’t care less about such things and again asked why the girl was asked about whether I choose to participate in my 2nd Amendment rights.
Her answer was, “because it’s my job to keep her safe”. No I said, it’s MY job and I know that because I have a court order saying so. I stoped any contact with this org then and there.
The org was Big Sisters.
Man, my parents would have been in prison for life when it came to the war drawings I use to compose at school.

What would have happened if the father resisted arrest and refused/resisted the strip search? What would have happened had he said he was a muzzie and his daughter is his property? Would that be okay?
Los Angeles has already arrested 7 teachers in the LA School Dist. for lewd behavior with children in the last 10 days. I think its safe to say that its the public education system that needs questioning, not parents.
Is Obama going to comment that the police acted “stupidly?”

John, We do not have the population to defend such a large country and are indeed thankful for the protection we receive from our friends in the south, but this incident has been caused by the elevation of left wing fools into positions of authority. We were the first to suffer such an ignominy at the election of a left wing queer by the name of Trudeau in the sixties. I sincerely hope that your nation does not suffer the same losses as ourselves with the election of the usurper in your great land, just make sure you get rid of him!

I am willing to bet that the little girl seen tv shows where good guys shoot bad guys. Wild imaginations children have it’s no surprise that she would draw such a thing. Her dad having a gun shooting “bad” people and monsters is her looking up to her father as a hero.
This is already here in America under the National Defense Authorization Act signed into law by Obamuslim. This law gives the government the authority to place under arrest and imprison anybody (including American citizens) without charging them or granting them a trial; just give the person the label “terrorist”. Welcome to Amerika.
Maybe this is reactionary after the abolition of the long-gun registry. Most Western Canadians (except for the Left Coast) were pleased to see the registry abolished; but Easterners in Ontario and Quebec – not so much.

This was way back in 1977.
Step one.
Move daughter to another school.
Step two.
Sue the school board and police department for wrongful imprisonment and violation of parental and personal protection rights.

Our high school principal used to stand at the entrance to the school parking lot on the opening day of each hunting season to remind the boys with guns in their trucks that they had to park on the street……I graduated in 1999…..
..taken to a police station for questioning over the drawing. He was also strip-searched.
Then he was tied to a stump with the belt from his pants and told to “squeel like a pig” while a creepy inbred kid played a banjo in the background.

I remember drawing swastikas on German panzers in second grade in 1950…the teacher asked me if a member of my family had fought in WW2…I said, “Ya, my uncle was in the Panzer corps, but he got killed! And my other uncle was in the Navy and drown.” What she didn’t know was that I had two uncles. One fought for the U.S., the other went and fought for the Wehrmacht. Both bit the dust. After that, when walking down the hall with a teacher watching me…I would do a little cute little goose step…

@Dapandico …….it was a fairly large high school here in West Virginia. Our youngest son goes to the same school which was built the year hubby graduated from HS.
The contrast between then and now is startling. If our youngest son wasn`t a junior, we`d haul his ass outta there. One of the teachers there is a huge odumbo fan. When he asked the principal if he could take the history class to see odumbo get sworn in 2009, he cried like a baby in the cafeteria when she told him the school didn`t have the funding, This history teacher is white by the way.

a few months ago, i saw that a neighbors’ sliding glass door had been broken. they weren’t home, so i called the local community patrol to come out and take a look around the property to make sure everything was ok. they called the county police. the county police called me.
want to guess which question they asked me first?
they wanted to know if i knew whether that neighbor owned or kept firearms in their home. i truthfully answered that i didn’t know because i barely knew the neighbor, but i was a bit taken aback that the police were so anxious to know the answer to that question.
BTW, it happened in a heavily Republican-voting county in Colorado.
This is Canada, folks, where the cops police everything except crime.
When i was in High School we would bring our hunting gear to school on Friday. After school we would all load up in a buddies truck and head to the hunting camp for the weekend. We would take our gear (Rifles,Shotguns,Ammo and tree stands and such) to the principles office and he would lock it up in a closet in his office until school let out. We would then come get it and head out.
We had to do that for two years until one of us had our own vehicle and could store it all in there instead. Back then our parents did not buy us cars for our 16th birthday. Well unless you were a girl but not all ways then either .

We did the same thing when I was in High School…had gun racks in the back window of our pick-ups. When I was in grade school, my 4th grade teacher would ask students for someone with a pocket knife to open a box for her. 10 hands would fly up. If you DIDN’T have a pocket knife, she would scold you and say “All boys should carry a pocket knife.”

my daddy would still be locked up, and he died in 1984, i shot my first gun at 6 and killed my first pheasant at 8 he bought me a .22 for my 8th birthday, i still own it. my daughter shot a gun the first time at 8 and i am now ready to buy her her first pp tool to carry.

The slides with VC brains removed from their owners heads from his kill shots were popular. There is nothing like the truth to expand a growing boy’s mind. Look what we have for fresh brains today.
