Dem Pollster Says Obama’s Message That The Economy Is Back on Track Tested “Miserably” With Voters, “Produces Disastrous Results”…

Funny thing is the MSM has been working overtime pushing this message about the economy being supposedly on the mend and it still isn’t flying with voters.

Via National Journal:

Democratic pollster Stanley Greenberg is out with a must-read polling memo this morning, which offers some eye-opening advice to President Obama and his re-election team.  After testing several of the president’s economic messages, he finds the argument that the economy is back on the right track polls miserably – and “produces disastrous results.”

“It is weaker than even the weakest Republican message and is 10 points weaker in intensity than either Republican message,” Greenberg wrote. “A third said this message made them less likely to support Barack Obama. Alarmingly, this message barely receives majority support among self-identified Democrats – and even less support among all other groups.”

The memo reads as a glaring wake-up call to the White House, which has been trumpeting improving economic figures lately.   Greenberg notes that voters are reporting “no improvement” in their job situation since last June, and have experienced reduced wages and benefits and health insurance coverage.  The picture Greenberg’s polling paints is an America public still deeply pessimistic about their future, and skeptical of Obama’s handling of the economy.

That’s because independents and demonrats with their blinders off know the LSM is just an extension of the marxist’s comrades.

16+ trillion in debt, do these people think that debt will just go poof! and go away, and the jerk in the wh keeps up the hostile policies towards business so they are afraid to grow. The local deli I go to is closing shop, he cannot afford the new taxes coming his way, and the revenues have been plummeting for a while — and this is BEFORE ObamaCare is shoved down america’s throats.

Only drones will believe the lies the marxist and his Obot media will spew out.

If a Dem pollster comes up with “disastrous results” for that line of crap…. Obama’s toast.

EVERYONE knows that Obama was a big mistake… everyone.
They might not admit it in public, but even the Dems know how bad things are.

    @ Xavier…

I have to disagree. I can’t see how Obama gets re-elected.

In addition, currently there are multiple ballot challenges working their way through the Courts.
Arizona had a hearing yesterday; Alaska, Indian, Pennsylvania, are all working hard to exclude him from the ballot.
Georgia and New Hampshire are in the Appeals process.

And, March 1st, Sheriff Arpaio has scheduled a news conference (to be streamed live) where he will present the findings of his Cold Case posse investigation of Obama’s BC and SS#. It’s reported that he has 1000 pages of evidence regarding the fraud on America.

I know I am optimistic, but I believe he will be excluded from at least one or more States. Then, the real legal challenges to everything the Kenyan Commie has done will proceed.

Apparently Obama’s re-election team is looking at some rather strong alternative slogans:

“Unemployment: It’s just a state of mind.”

“Recovery: You think I’d let Michelle take 16 vacations and blow $12 million of your money if things weren’t getting better?”

“Losing your house ain’t so bad when you’re still getting free condoms and abortions.”

“Have you even tried sleeping in the gutter? It sure beats sleeping next to a prickly beard who does pushups so she can kick my wimpy ass.”

“We’ll steal stuff from the rich so they’ll be bad off too.”

“When Shariah Law is in effect, it’ll all be better.”

This is EXACTLY what I have been saying for months – all the spin and lies mean nothing because on election day morning the decision will be from individual voters sitting at kitchen tables and mulling over being broke and unemployed. And there is nothing on the horizon that is going to improve their situation. Score election day. In fact, it will be much worse.

    Five Year Plan. I know I’ve heard that term once before….and here it is;

The Five-Year Plans for the National Economy of the Soviet Union (USSR) were a series of nation-wide centralized economic plans in the Soviet Union. The plans were developed by a state planning committee based on the Theory of Productive Forces that was part of the general guidelines of the Communist Party for economic development. Fulfilling the plan became the watchword of Soviet bureaucracy. The same method of planning was also adopted by most other communist states, including the People’s Republic of China. In addition, several capitalist states have emulated the concept of central planning, though in the context of a market economy, by setting integrated economic goals for a finite period of time. Thus are found “Seven-year Plans” and “Twelve-Year Plans”. Nazi Germany emulated the practice in its Four Year Plan designed to bring Germany to war-readiness.

Several five-year plans did not take up the full period of time assigned to them: some were successfully completed earlier than expected, while others failed and were abandoned. Altogether, there were thirteen five-year plans. The initial five-year plans were created to serve in the rapid industrialization of the Soviet Union, and thus placed a major focus on heavy industry. The first one was accepted in 1928, for the period from 1929 to 1933, and completed one year early. The last Five-Year Plan was for the period from 1991 to 1995 and was not completed, as the Soviet Union was dissolved in 1991.

They can stand around their fifty gallon drums and try to pass out the paper cups but people just aren’t getting off on the kool-aid of their lies .. No Jonestown for you Obama … you lie … you die!!

  36. JBD says:

This actually means Santorum needs to drop social conservatism like a hot
potato(e) immediately. He can’t deny it. He just has to campaign on fiscal
conservatism, the economy. It’s the economy, stupid. It’s always the
economy. If he nails that message he can win. I’m not sure Romney is at all
believable on economic issues. I am not sure Gingrich is still a viable
candidate. He’s a skosh more believable than Romney on the economy.

Re Romney – experience is not everything. It is a basic tool. After that you
have to ensure the voters that in the White House you will be working for the
voters, pure and simple. Romney simply cannot do that even though he is the
closest model we’ve ever had to George Washington since the latter stepped
down from office. (Washington, in today’s terms, was richer than Romney.)
Finally Romney needs to convince people Obamacare will not merely become
    Romneycare.
