So it isn’t a little bit weird to convert someone to your religion after they die? I think its a little weird. So if making fun of a group’s weird actions is bad, then we are lost. Gotta call a spade, a spade. Right? Just because it appears that he is going to be “our guy” doesn’t mean we have to make excuses for him or his fellow Mormons.
I didn’t think the comment was that bad, just a little snarky. I don’t think the Bible belt is going to be upset with this because most Christians do not think mormonism is a Christian faith.
Of course there is nothing wrong with poking fun, but they have no clue how dangerous a game they are playing or the fire they are flirting with. No bigger sleeping giant than American fundamental Christian-ism that prevails throughout all the ethnic groups. This is nothing more than east coast Libtard snobbery, and in my opinion Davey Mac is correct, that won’t play well at all in the Bible belt, especially after all the other attacks going on. Not sure how baptizing after death is any different than than baptizing “original stain” on babies after birth, or giving “last rites” at death, but there you go.
@Anna,
I don’t buy that one, but if that has any truth to it that would make “most Christians” not only ignorant, but wrong. That is their choice I suppose.

And I have no problem with whatever he believes. At least the Mormon religion is based on Judeo-Christian belief. As Davey Mac says mocking Mormons will not play well in the Bible belt any more than mocking Amish, Quakers or any other group so let them bring it. I would much prefer to live next door to a Mormon family than someone believing black liberation theology or islam or gaia.
I’m sure Mitt has heard every kind of bigotry and is prepared.
This has been going on too long, it’s a good start but our law enforcement has a long way to go.
When someone hides behind religion to do or say something that is wrong we should stand up and point it out (right the wrong).
When I was a kid I lived in Utah, and the Boy Scouts was taken over by Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (FLDS Church). This, so called religion, practices underage polygamy, they send the boy s off on missions to divide the underage sisters among the dirty old men of the clan. Now when these underage girls get pregnant, these same dirty old men, send them to the state to get their welfare checks. You should see some of the palace homes that are paid with welfare checks. By the way this is the newest religion that was created right here in United States of America.

Why, yes, Joan, that is so MUCH worse than worshiping at the altar of Rev. Wright for 20 years.
Bring it, Honey. That stuff plays REAL well in the Bible belt.

Does Joan know that Dingy Cowboy Poet Reid is a Mormon.

If you listen carefully, she was referring to his moronism.

You know, I’m not overly fond of Mitt, but I’m getting tired of religious attacks on Mormons, while respecting the religion of honor killers.
