President Obama once again predicted his reeelction, saying on ESPN that he has five more years in office and hinting that ESPN’s Bill Simmons might receive an invitation to next year’s White House ‘all-star’ game.
“I’ve got another five years here and somewhere along the line my Bulls are going to come through here,” Obama said about the Chicago Bulls visiting the White House after winning the the NBA title. When Simmons said that the president was “guaranteeing” his reelection, Obama laughed in apparent confirmation.

He may be correct after talking with an obama supporter today. She is buying into the media hype that Wall Street and the GOP is causing the increase in gas prices to prevent his reelection and it smacks of overt racism. I asked her about Fast & Furious, Solyndra and MF Global, as usual got the deer in the headlights look from her. Also I was called a smart ass for mentioning algae as an alternative fueld. The media is winning the war.

Not a chance. Zero had the advantage of being the politically correct “new face” last time, not to mention the blaring praise of the media. This time, the illusion’s gone, he and “Millions Michelle” have riled every thinking person from coast to coast, and even the TV-addled drones are having a hard time massaging the propaganda into the pseudo-reality they see around them.
Sure, few people like the GOP offerings, and there’s always a chance that RP and his muslim army might strip a painful portion from any GOP candidate’s numbers, but Zero can’t pay off everyone, and it appears he might not even be able to prevent an economic reality check before November, despite all the tricks available to his banker/treasury/fed buddies.
If he pulls more than 20% (approximate sum of unions and welfare addicts), I’d be very surprised. Carter got pretty much swept, and he had the benefit of an illusion of “a nice guy, but incompetent”. Zero doesn’t even have that.
My money’s still on an attempted dictatorship in the fall, but I’m the overly paranoid sort. Despite all the cheerleading, their internal polls have to look pretty gruesome, and they’re clearly already posturing to do away with the other branches of government. To them, the election is just a formality, and unnecessary, if it doesn’t suit their purposes.
