In fact, isn’t your ‘stuff’ the property of the US Government now, and shouldn’t the taxpayers get a say as to how those assets are used? If used improperly, couldn’t they end up costing 2-3 times more for maintenance?

Perhaps we have been looking at this the wrong way. If we do the same thing to the abortion/ contraception industry as what they are doing to the health care industry we can make it totally unaffordable and unobtainable to the average citizen without government assistance, then when we take over we can crush the industry by simply withholding funding or increasing the red tape until they drown in it. You’ve had the government up your womb since 1973; thanks to Rowe v. Wade. Once it reached the Federal Supreme Court it’s been a federal issue ever since along with all the unintended consequences it wrought – government sponsored and paid abortion, government sponsored and paid contraceptives, government sex-ed programs teaching fisting to 7 year-olds and on an on. The Supreme Court should have bumped this case back to the state governments and let it be decided there. This should have never been a government issue because of the “long train of abuses” that ALWAYS follows the federal government and ALL of their legislation.
