BTW, Spain just got downgraded to BB+ and people are rioting in the streets. The EFSF and the IMF barely came up with the $170 billion euro to “bail out” Greece. No way they are coming up with the $1 Trillion that Spain needs. And then there is the $1Trillion that Italy needs! Will our own Uncle Ben be providing the funds?

So even taking the spin on face value, according to the Department of Energy’s Loans Programs Office, they’ve ‘invested’ 34.7 billion dollars and created ‘more than’ 60,000 jobs.

That’s a salary of more than half a million dollars per job.

If this stuff were truly viable, simple tax breaks would be enough to push the working technologies toward viability. And honestly, I WANT these technologies to bear fruit. I’m sick and tired of our oil dependence overseas, enriching every God damned tyrant in the world.

The left, however, wants this goal too, and they want to advocate it with socialist policies that over the last century have been shown to be abject failures.

It’s almost as if they want us to fail, even at things they seek to accomplish.

Hell Barry, fire up the printing presses and just give us all $5.7 million, why worry about jobs….or business or industry…just give it to us. A little ‘social justice’ Obama style. And then women will start complaining because they’ve been discriminated against all these years and therefore deserve more. And then the illegal aliens will start claiming that we stole this country from them in the first place and therefore they deserve more etc. etc. etc….

Of course what won’t occur to them for a few days is that those dollars they were given aren’t worth the paper the were printed on…..because the sheer number of them has just made them worthless…..
