Considering the overreach by the Obama campaign, maybe Romney should give him a little more rope before he yanks the rug out from under him. Let Obama say things that are so absolutely unbelievable that he destroys himself.
You don’t want to use up all your ammo while Obama is damaging himself. Hold onto some of the dirt, then dump it on them right before election day.

I’m with gastorgrab on this one. It’s not a question of “if”, it’s a question of “when”. Better for Romney to keep his powder dry ’till after the summer, then, in the last 6 weeks before Nov. 6, when most a-political people start paying attention, carpetbomb the holy crap out of Chicago Jesus.

I think that some analysts are letting the Obama campaign to set the intensity of the campaign. Obama’s reelection effort is by far the most vicious and frantic that i can remember. But that doesn’t mean that going berserk on the opposition is the way to win the election.
Let’s face it, some of the liberal attacks are just plain stupid. Responding to them would only lend credibility to the idiotic argument. If the Obama team wants to make a laughing stock of themselves, then Mitt should get out of their way.
Mitt should be smarter, not necessarily faster than the Obama team. I’d like to see Mitt make a peace offering to Gingrich in private, and coordinate their message. Let liberals think that Newt still has a chip on his shoulder and they’ll invite him on the weekend talk-shows. Then let the fireworks begin!
