I never claimed the MB would never come to power. I simply remarked that I found it highly gratifying that two enemies of America (Iran-backed Assad and the MB) were so graciously slaughtering each other for us. I have consistently expressed support for prolonging the conflict as long as possible and doing what we can to spread it to the rest of the ME, to ensure maximum Islamotard casualties.
Actually, evidence suggests it was more of an MB plan, not Obama. I would say he merely opportunistically exploited it – I don’t think he’s clever enough to set it up anyhow. And I was merely attempting to look on the bright side and find some amusement in the whole thing. And if we can’t laugh at the sight of the two incoherent leftist buffoons sputtering with impotent rage, what can we laugh at?
Obama hasn’t been able to supply the Syrian jihadists with air cover, thankfully. It seems they’ve managed it with support from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. And current info suggests it was a regime bodyguard who betrayed the intel to the rebels – if we believe the Assad Squad, it was that same bodyguard who strapped on the suicide bomb.
Syria is the conduite that allows Iran to supply Hamas and Hezbollah. Syria (ironically) helped Al Qaeda fighters reach Iraq to attack US forces there. It is not our friend, nor will this make it one.
I am not saying they will be “under control”. I am saying that Syria will almost certainly divide into several states by region, which will war with each other. Muslims will die by the thousands. And by the end, there will almost certainly be several smaller, weaker states where Syria now sits. That is a good thing.
As to the Christians, I do sincerely regret what is about to happen, but I’m not the one in control over there. After the Sunnis were shown other dictators being overthrown, Assad’s Alawi regime didn’t stand much of a chance. I never supported the MB victory, just prolonging the conflict to make our enemies slaughter each other.
